I'm extremely picky about my nail shape, and he is sooooo meticulous every single time. He listens, he perfects, and he always delivers nails that make me feel confident and excited to show them off. There isn't a single design he can't pull off. Tommy does my feet, and I absolutely adore this woman. She is incredible at what she does and keeps me laughing the entire appointment. I'm super ticklish, yet she somehow manages to get every bit of dead skin off while still making the whole experience enjoyable. After all this time, these two feel like family. I don't go anywhere else because I've never left Luxx anything less than completely happy. If you want flawless work, genuine people, and a place that makes you feel taken care of, this is it.

Instead she gave me the most bare basic nude mani after clipping my nail tips off. It was rushed and bad quality and the clippers came out so fast, and she ignored my request and picture completely. The manicure sucked but I didn't want to get into it, so I smiled nodded said thank you and went to Pay. As I was checking out the receptionist told me about the $12 upcharge for the trim, which btw would've been a complete NONISSUE if I was getting nails remotely close to the nails I asked for. I have no problem paying well (and tipping generously always!) I am not mad about the $ upcharge. I'm mad about the fact that you ruined my long nails by shaving them down, when I didn't ask I even told the nail tech please keep them almond shape but do shorten the length. I was just stunned she was clipping for that and we didn't agree to that, and now you want me to pay extra for the removal. I paid it, but I was like JSYK I'm pretty disappointed with the whole thing and I explained what happened, and I got the most canned response from the receptionist. It wasn't worth the argument, but it was really clear they are just going to let a customer walk out unhappy and not offer to correct their mistakes. Their services are really inconsistent too, I've been in 4 times and the manicures are all over the place. Sometimes they're rushed, other times you might get cuticle oil and a hand massage, but you never know. The training and skill level amongst the staff is hit and miss. With a million salon options, sorry but I'm going to go to the place that is well run, consistent and inviting. Not only this, but the atmosphere is unrelaxing. Dust covers the surfaces by the washing station, hair on the floor, waste baskets full. Give me a swiffer and I'll take care of it in 5 minutes while your staff sit around, scrolling. (Talking esp about the receptionist, young lady with the blond hair who perches in front of the iPad) They had on a baaad techno Pandora station, turned up to a headache inducing volume, at 11 in the morning. It was my first time doing nail art when I came, and I didn't know it'd take that long haha. I got a classic pedicure with regular polish and the queen manicure with gel, everything came out to $91 including a removal of some gel polish on my feet. The Queen manicure offers multiple scent options and starts with the gel polish, exfoliating scrub, another scrub with your selected scent, paraffin bagged steam towel treatment, lotion and then a shoulder massage. I selected aloe vera and what was really neat is it appeared to be a real spear of aloe and gel! Quincy was so caring and really made sure everything from my purse being placed on the right side, my hair was clipped up for the massage was ok for me. The classic pedicure promises a cleaning of the nails, scrub on the legs, calf massage, and warm water jet. Sophia was equally excellent and really tended to my comfort. What I appreciated the most is the ladies were caring and attentive but also didn't bug me with small talk or chatty with each other. They were fully focused on their tasks and making sure I was ok! 5 stars for that alone!

I got such a good arm and hand massage, hot towels wrapped around my arms, a collagen treatment for my hands, plus steam treatment--it felt super relaxing and honestly elevated the whole experience. I also always love their complimentary matcha boba tea whenever I come here--it's honestly such a nice touch. While waiting, I noticed they also have a huge selection of jewels, charms, and nail art designs you can add, which made me want to come back and try something more fun next time. I believe it's family run and it's always good to support local businesses. They do hair and nails, so it's a good place to know! They're pretty friendly and accommodating. I did gel nails and the lady who did my nails did a good job. I'd chosen my color from their paint samples but they couldn't find the exact color so she gave me a close one she could find. The color I wanted was more violet-ish maroon and what I have now is more red. Nail shape is consistent and the paint lines are generally clean. She missed a couple sides which bothers me a little. She did kind of file my nails a little too short too, when we agreed that we'd keep the length. It took about 40 mins for the whole process.

Midway through the treatment, the other tech and her switched. The whole time they were talking about me. I thought that the new tech would do a better job but he did not listen to me when i don't him that they were crooked and also while he was filing my nails he cut my middle finger and i had to yank it away.
