My concern is that the salon knowingly allowed an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old to remain in their care without an adult responsible for them present. After I learned what happened, I contacted the salon because I was concerned about my daughters' supervision and requested the available video footage from that time. The manager acknowledged remembering the situation, confirmed that video existed, and even told me that she felt the need to watch out for the girls while they were there. Despite acknowledging those concerns, the salon refused to provide me with the footage I requested. As their mother, I find this extremely concerning. A business providing services to children this young should have clear policies regarding unattended minors and should not put its employees in the position of informally supervising someone else's children. I'm sharing my experience because other parents should be aware of how this situation was handled when deciding whether they are comfortable bringing their children here.

She kept saying ... "You got a pedicure" (I did not), then "you got gel polish" (I did not)... "$5 to soak nails" (Okay - I've never been charged extra for this service, but okay - it's still an overcharge!). She kept changing the base fee, even blaming it on her dad (who processed the transaction) ... until I gave up and decided that this place isn't worth the STRESS it would bring if I returned. * Customers deserve a CLEAR Pricing structure - you don't get to charge whatever you want and expect them to return... and risk an even higher fee the next time!! Who has time for that!! * Had this been corrected... or handled better, I may have given them a higher score; but ZERO effort was made! * Customer Service & honesty matters! * Looks like I am not the only person complaining (reviews) about being overcharged! When I pointed out that my thumbnail was not shaped evenly like the rest of my nails, she seemed irritated that I asked her to fix it twice. What bothered me the most was that she over-sanded my natural nails and damaged my nail bed/enamel. Three weeks later, my nails are still growing back thin and weak, and I ended up cutting all of them because of the damage. I also asked the owner to explain the manicure service and what it included. After reviewing it, I realized the nail tech skipped steps such as lotion and the hand massage. Even after the owner brought it to her attention, she still refused to complete the service properly. As someone who lives only two minutes away, I really wanted to support this business, but I no longer feel valued or respected as an African American customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where professionalism, customer care, and respect are a priority.

I went in on a busy weekend afternoon, but I never felt my service was rushed. The vibe is relaxed and friendly and I feel like I'm coming in to a place where they are happy to see me. I got a great pedi and an amazing massage. I requested a rainbow cat eye gel added on, and they gave me a multitude of choices of color.
