Came here on a Wednesday night with an appointment with Cathy (Kathy?). She was very professional and timely. From the time I sat in the chair to the end of the free massage was 1 hour (dip removal, dip color on natural nails $43 total). They accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle-so come prepared! I was very happy with her work and even when my nail got messed up (twice) she fixed it with grace. It was empty when I walked in at 5:45pm if that's helpful to know haha. This review is not directed towards the entire establishment. I'm sure everyone else who works here does a great job. This was my first time here but I came to check it out due to the good reviews. When I came in everyone was kind and welcoming but the lady who "helped" was so fucking unprofessional that it's costed me my nails. I didn't get her name but the workers here will know who I'm talking about. I don't care for a refund since it was $10 and there's no apology that I can get that will make my pain any better. I came here yesterday for an acrylic removal and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I'm only making this review to explain how much pain I'm in even after this procedure. All I asked for was a removal and throughout the whole time the lady filing them with the electric filer was sooooo aggressive that she split not just one but two of my finger's cuticles from both hands to the point where they were dripping in blood. Even the other worker next to her noticed them and asked if I was okay but only AFTER everything was done. If you've ever gotten your nails done you understand the pain behind getting acetone on an open wound... I was in soooo much pain. But that's not all She was working so fast yet so irresponsibly that she filed my nail bed so much to the point where the nerves under my nails are almost exposed. There were moments where she started to burn my nail with so much over filing. My nails are PAPER thin. They're bending and breaking sooo easily and I've never felt this much pain. There's blood under my nail bed on some and there's absolutely nothing I can do about them now. I hope the lender has a talk with her about this because I knew if I stayed to do it myself I would've caused a Scene in from of the customers they had there. And it's not the other workers fault who do a great job to have to be humiliated because one person wasn't professional. read more

I love this place. I must say it's possibly the best pedicure I have ever had- they reallllly take their time. They clean your nails up very well and if recurrent callus is your problem, then they've got you covered. The leg massage is very long and relaxing as well. They always include a neck massage at the end, which really makes the pedicure worth it. Their prices are very reasonable, especially since their services are top-notch. They have amazing customer service as well. Mary is very nice and I believe she is the salon manager. I wish I still lived in the area, since it was conveniently located down the street, but even being about 25 mins away from there, I still find myself going back :) read more

Please make an appt. They do take walk-ins but they are always busy. I hate to see folks get mad when they are asked to come back later. This place is a hidden gem. The staff is always welcoming. The prices are great. They go above and beyond throughout your whole experience. They even had delicious homemade egg rolls for the customers one of the days! The massages are great and I'm sure longer than what you pay for. They even give you a back, head and shoulder rub to finish out your experience. I usually get dipping powder for my nails and a basic pedi. They even give you a hand and arm rub after finishing your nails. I have a 9 month old daughter, so this time is very valuable and I leave here feeling like a new woman every time! read more

Woww. I have honestly never had a better experience at a nail salon. I hate spending money to get my nails done because I never think it's worth it but it's my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend so I thought we could splurge a little bit. We decided to come here because of the great reviews and the decent price. Just a heads up, its cash or check only. They give birthday discounts and discounts for high schools (also if you just talk them up and tell them it's your anniversary they'll give you a discount too). My boyfriend had a manicure and I had a mani (shellac) and the silver pedicure. Everything was soooooo relaxing. I want to reiterate that I am never satisfied after leaving a nail salon but I am so happy I gave this place a shot. Everyone is so sweet. They did a great job with my polish, my extraordinary leg massage, etc. The paraffin wax dip for my feet and hands were my favorite. They also give complimentary shoulder massages. This place is right next to my house and I was loving the price and service for a while. My favorite part was a free mini massage at the end. The goods: Pretty clean, I've never had bad work done on nails and pedicure, and I loved the free mini massage. The bads: Cash only (wasnt a problem for me but be prepared). The last visit I had was the worst service ive had ever at a nail place, but the work was fine. First day I go and wait for my service, and they ask me to make an appointment for later and come back. I come back the next day at the scheduled time, and waited over 2 hours to be seen. They start on my nails and rush off to help another new customer who just walked in (you know, when they are full and try to work on multiple people at once). She could have finished my nails completely much sooner had she just asked that lady to wait 15-20 mins but it took another 2 hours to do my nails. I have always tipped ridiculously high so it wasnt like i was a new customer or someone who didnt tip. I had never felt so disrespected. This actually happened a couple years ago so i dont remember all the details. If they are busy, your appointment is not guaranteed, and loyalty apparently means nothing here. read more

This is seriously the BEST place to get your nails done. I have moved from Dallas to NY, but whenever I come to town, I have to come here for a pedicure! The prices are incredible. The people remember you from YEARS ago. The chairs are more than comfortable, and the leg/foot massage with your pedicure lasts about 20 minutes for each leg. I went this past Saturday and had a pedicure. never been there before, so didn't know what I was getting with the package. pedicure went fine. but while my nails were trying I got a paragon done, that was included, Apparently I asked if I should take my rings off and she said NO! WELL I didn't know it was was because it looked like did she stuff. well my engagement ring and wedding band have was all in them. in the breathing hole and all. so I will have to pay to ha d them professional cleaned. My first recommendation is to call and make an appointment because they're that good they get busy. They also only accept cash and check! I got a platinum pedi ($30) and it was amazing. There are three pedicures to choose from and the regular one is $25. I ventured to Sol Nails based on the positive reviews here on Yelp. This place has it's positives and negatives. Sadly, the negatives outweigh the positives so I won't be returning. I arrived an hour after Sol Nails opened so I was quickly seated. There is a terrible feet smell here. I've gone to countless nail salons and have never encountered this before. Another warning, Sol Nails only accept checks & cash. I was told the $20 pedicure would be in a regular recliner or for $5 more, I could go with a massaging chair. I opted to pay $5 more for the massaging chair (something that is often included but oh well). The chair massage with attached foot spa was just okay. The nail tech was a bit rough. Once she was finished scrubbing my feet, I was moved to yet another massaging chair. Boy was I impressed with that chair. It is similar to a Brookstone style chair in that it massage your back, neck and calves. The tech left me there for about ten minutes. Once she came back, she folded the calf massage portion away and proceed with my foot massage. Again, she was a bit rough. After finishing my polish, the tech put the calf massager back on and let me sit while my polish dried for about 15mins. I played around on my iPod since they have free wifi. The nail tech then offered a free chair massage. She started off by placing hot wax in a bag and massaging it over my neck, shoulders, ears and arms. It was very relaxing. She then placed my hands into the wax as she proceeded to give me a neck/shoulder massage. In the end, I was very relaxed and proved my satisfaction with a hefty tip. Sadly the finished polish job was horrible. The massages were great but I didn't come to Sol Nails for a massage. read more

The services are ok, same rates as my usual salon. My regular tech was booked but I need an urgent manicure so I decided to try this place out. Wasn't aware that they don't accept cards until it was time for me to pay, so that was definitely a headache. One of the techs followed me to the ATM to get cash out.... kinda creepy. It's 2018, vendors should be able to process cards. my cuticles were cut during the process of my Nexgen manicure, so I'm bleeding but otherwise they look okay. The shaping isn't consistent and I have some glue stuck to my pinky. I had Kathy do my nails and she was very nice. Be aware that some of these techs at this location might be operating without a license. I saw 3 licenses posted but 6 workers. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Absolute worst experience ever. Went in for acrylic fill and gel color. 1st lady did the fill portion. And cut up my cuticles and sliced me under my thumb nail. Then told me to pick a color and another lady will come by to do the gel while she ran off to work on someone else. Wait another 15+ minutes before the other lady finished her customer before she came to put on my gel. This lady had no clue what she was doing. It looked like a child did them so a THIRD lady had to perform damage control. To top it off while the first lady was filing off the my original nail color I notice a green tint in my nail. I ask her about it BEFORE she staring filing because I was very concerned - she told me the it was just cause water got underneath my acrylic and not to worry cause it grow out and proceed to fill my nails. I later went home and did my research and found out that its fungus and that the acrylics need to be removed ASAP and treatment started or else it can spread and get significantly worse!!! I went with 2 friends and their experiences were just as bad. In addition, we asked if they accept cards since it was a janky hole in the walk salon. We were told yes. Then when we go to pay they said no they only take cash or card. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more
