This salon has no respect for the elderly and does not value their customers. I have been going to this salon for at least 3 years. Not once have I been offered a loyalty program or even treated like more than a dollar. I continued going because they do a decent job compared to most and the price is reasonable. For that reason alone, I have referred so many people to this shop. I even have my mom, grandma and sister getting services here. None of us live in Garland. In fact, we all drive at least 30 minutes to this location because of my recommendation. Never again! I learned yesterday that they do not value our business, our money, and will take no accountability if mistakes are made. I'm am LIVID. The cops were called on my mom (57) and my grandma (76). Two sweet, God fearing elderly ladies. First of all I would NEVER. They spoke up about a fungus that developed on my grandmas nails after her last appointment 3 weeks prior only expecting treatment, care instruction, and maybe a discount. Instead the police were called. Initially, when my grandma mentioned this to her nail tech Ana, she continued doing her nails as if she hadn't said anything. My mom got involved and tried to discreetly negotiate a friendly resolution but was told " I don't care, do whatever you want ." At this point my mom felt insulted and decided to share her experience with the other guests. Now the police are being called as they lie and get their story together. They told the police my mom was loud, aggressive, and refused to pay. At no point did they ever refuse to pay. Nor did they become aggressive. When the police arrived they increased the price of the nails to $5 more and finally offered $15 off. All of this could have been avoided had Ana acknowledged the mistake when my grandma brought it to her. Again, my grandma is 76 years old. She was so traumatized from this event that she woke up the next morning with nightmares about her experience at the nail salon. Needless to say, we are taking our business elsewhere and suggest you do the same. read more

My husband and kids gave me a $100 gift card for Mother's Day. The first time I used it, they had an issue finding the money. No worries, they sorted it out, I had $50 left. I went back today and they claimed not only that there was no money on the gift card, but accused my husband of stealing it (even though I had proof that he bought it). I ended up having to pay anyway. I will never go back, even though they do a good job. They stole $50 from me. And refused to help solve the problem that is completely 100% their fault. Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon, had an appointment at 5 pm that was made days in advance. They kept letting walk ins come in and they sat me in the back for a pedicure and my feet sat in a tub for an hour before I was offered help. By that time I realized I only had time for a mani since I had been waiting an 1.5 hours for service. Told them I only wanted a mani and they told me I'd still have to wait 30 more minutes. My only peeve was when I arrived for my 9:30 appointment this morning, I had to wait.. it wasn't a big issue to wait, but the fact that the receptionist looked a little lost when I had advised I was there for my 9:30 appointment almost made me turn around. It was a full house and I had scheduled this appointment 2 weeks ago. I will be coming back because they do a good job. The price was SUPER clutch compared to what I've paid in the past.. My only suggestions: 1. Make sure you plan appropriately and have people avail for appointments that are set in advance. 2. When using the drill, ease up off the nail cuticle a bit.. 3. I had a bad experience with another nail salon and immediately came here after to see if they could fix my nails for an event I had. They didn't hesitate to help, they removed my previous nails and made my nails exactly how I wanted. Despite them being busy they take their time with each client. I had done my nails for my baby shower and a week later I had 3 chipped. Before anything, let me just say I work at an insurance place. So I'm constantly typing on the computer. And I like my nails thinnn. So I think that's why it happened. Well, I went in to see what they could do for me and how much they would charge . They were going to charge me $10 since a week had passed already. I didn't have the enough cash since I had gone just to ask. When I said I'd just go the next day, the owner stopped me and told me to take a seat and he would fix it for free. The owner Lynn does an amazing job, since she got pregnant i believe there has been a change in staff, Each time I come in there are diff people their. I will say, their pedicures are pretty awesome. Unlimited margaritas (depending on who does your pedicure) I had one girl give me 3 margaritas one time, and the next time no one offered me anything, not even a water. If you like massages try to get the older lady in the back. She makes sure you are all the way relaxed and prices are pretty reasonable. I don't do my nails here because the days I have came their has been minor things here and their wrong with the nails. The owners give you a 7-day guarantee on your nails but I don't want to come get my nails done, come again days later to get them fixed. it really is a hit or miss experience. read more

Im only giving it two stars because the reception girl is so nice. I got dip powder on my natural nails, before the lady doing my nails started filing down after applying it i told her there was a black spot on the powder on one of my nails and she started blaming it on my short nails. She asked me as soon as I had sat down what length I wanted and I told her the length I had right now was fine, she never said anything about it being too short. If she couldn't handle doing short nails she could've told me from the beginning, rather than not doing a good job along the way and blaming it on my nail length. She also cut multiple of my finger tips and did not treat them either. I was there with another person as well, and she had a prior job done with them, rather than them filing the color down and then soaking they put her to fully soak for over an hour. Her hands were covered in red because they didn't remove the color, and had to ask them to remove it after being done, the lady doing her nails didn't do it on her own. For her final product she had some nails that didn't have the polish on top and looked opec. read more

Do not get lashes done here unless you have no problem damaging your eyesight. 3rd time I thought would be the charmer, but I refuse to give them $35 to glue my eyes shut again. So I went to get my nails done here for the 2nd time, the 1st time was fast, simple, and went great a lady did a manicure for me, it came out perfect now this time around I went to get acrylics, it was a guy this time (for some reason there was only one girl working today 5/14/2018) and not paying attention, I pay for what was done (the almond shaped white nails) and walked out but after getting home the longer I stared at them the more I noticed different mess ups, for example the index fingernail was too long as well as the middle, the pinky nail was too small, all of my nails were painted with an old nail polish even the topcoat, lastly in my opinion some of my nails weren't shaped correctly, not to mention the men were highly unprofessional as in checking me out, my mother was sitting next to me and noticed the guys were making faces towards each other as if they were all agreeing that I was attractive, I did not enjoy this visit what so ever and will not be coming back so I decided when I got home that I'll reshape, file, and paint them so I did and I think I did better than what I payed for!! Which ever guy did my nails(he has glasses and a combover haircut), ripped off my nails instead of a soak off and did my nails totally uneven and too thin. First time here and the place is nice. staff is super friendly but...my mom was cut! Looks pretty bad too...She now has a sore and its blackish red around the cut. Her polish had to be fixed 3 times because the fan kept somehow smear the polish. I give it two stars for designs on offer and clean new facility, and lots of fresh polish (its a new store)but it is just too expensive for the area. Garland 30$ for a pedicure, no thanks. Don't worry... you can still get a beauty school dropout version for 24$ which is still 6$ too much. The prices for nails might be better but I haven't looked. I usually pay 18 $ for a standard pedicure and I had chosen the 24$ option, when I told the lady working on me that something stronger than a pumice stone would be better to remove dead skin all the help told me that would be the 30$ pedicure. Ha ha. I opted to have no pedicure and just got polish only... it was OK. Good paint job but she didn't get all the former polish off before she started painting them and smudged my big toenail putting my shoe on, immediately after finishing.
