This is an update for KT Nail Spa. I have been coming here for over 1 year and they have NEVER disappointed me. LILLY the owner, is so nice, sweet and accommodating. She really cares about her customers! I love all the women working for her as well. The service is amazing here! Seriously just the best place . This is my 2nd 5 star review in 15 months.

I LOVE MY NAILS!!! If I could give them more stars I would! I've been here a few times and the owner is fabulous! I can't remember the name of the guy that did my nails last but he did an absolutely gorgeous job! He was very detailed and meticulous, filed and shaped my nails perfectly. Thank you so so much!

I absolutely love coming to KT Nails on Renner Rd! Everyone is so kind and welcoming, and they always go above and beyond to bring my (sometimes crazy!) nail ideas to life. I drive 40 minutes just to come here, and it is 100% worth it every time. The quality of their work, attention to detail, and customer service are amazing. On top of that, their prices are very reasonable for the level of service you receive. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that truly cares about their clients and delivers beautiful results every time! read more

I love this place however I'm unsure what changed today. I got my nails done like always and they were acrylic. Typical I get dip and my toes done. Today for what is pictured I was charged $75. That's not my normal. I have no clue why when it's 30 on the price list. Well the service is always great other than that. read more

The staff was very friendly and the spa was clean, however, the quality of the services provided was lacking. I got a gel pedicure and dip on my nails; the dip on my nails was very thick, uneven, and spotty in areas. The nail tech ended up putting gel over the dip which ended up with the all the gel chipping off. I did ask for several areas to be evened out because they looked really bad and the nail tech acted as if she couldn't see them. My dip began to lift within a week. I ended up leaving pretty disappointed with my services- I wouldn't go back. read more

Amazing! First time here and all I can say is AMAZING!!! Me Lily did my gel dip for the first time and they are so fabulous this will be my nail salon forever. I gave myself a pedicure during the shutdown in COVID and gave myself the worst pedicure that not even podiatrist could correct and Ms Lily was sweet enough to tackle my feet when nobody else would. Lilly and the ladies at KT are my absolute favorite. I've been going there religiously every 3 weeks for the last several months. Small, efficient, personable, and accommodating. Thank you for always taking care of me and doing the best on my nails and toes. I'm really, really going to miss all of you guys so much now that I'm leaving the state! Lily owns a beautiful nail shop and her work is even more stunning. When you put your feet in her hands - it's like Angels singing. I work, stand, walk, and hustle on my feet constantly. It's a treat to have her make the tension melt away. I get my finger nails and facial glam, too! Michelle is an artist when it comes to nail design and the other ladies can massage like none other. If you or someone special is looking for a way to relax and unwind - then pop on in for a pampering!!!! It's well worth it... They did my nails for my bachelorette party, my wedding, etc! I brought some of my weed party, as well as my parents and the groom, the day before the wedding. They ordered mini Bundt cakes for all of us! We had a great time and they did great work! I somehow managed to crack one of my nails during the wedding/reception. We went in the next day and they fixed it immediately before we left on our honeymoon! I will keep coming back! read more

The environment and friendliness of the staff is always so awesome! They always make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Lily really takes her time and makes sure everything looks good. Where do I start? The owner Lilly is an angel. She takes pride in her work and provides A1 customer service. My pedicure came with a foot/leg massage that made me doze off :) and my toes were - toe model ready. LOVED THEM! I've been to the spa twice and I've enjoyed both visits. May did my nails- I can't stop looking at them! FLAWLESS. They're natural looking and they were able to match the polish on my toes perfectly with the dip on my toes. C'mon how often does this happen?? We all wore mask and i noticed shields at the nail stations. I'll be back.. it's worth the 30 minute drive from Mckinney. Kudos to the salon. read more

My daughter got married in January of 2022. I had contacted the owner about a month or so before to schedule manis and pedis for the family and the bridal party. She offered to close the shop just for us and serve snacks and champagne. How special! Then, another Covid spike came right around Christmas. I came down with Covid 10 days for the wedding and went into isolation as soon as I realized I had Covid. Everyone in our family split up and isolated according to CDC guidelines in order to try to be well to attend my daughter's wedding. Understandably, the wedding party was a bit "spooked" and chose not to join in any day-before-the-wedding fun. So, I had to call KT Nail Spa to let them know that only 4 of the 8 people were able to come for manis and pedis. They were so kind, and my two daughters, my mom, and my sister went on their own. I was so sad to miss it, but the owner and staff made it a very special time for my family. My family was so impressed by how nice they were, how professional, and how attentive. Thank you, KT Nail Spa for making my daughter's time with you very special! It was a really big deal to us in the middle of a very stressful week. Your kindness meant a lot to all of us. read more

Three weeks later, my nails are still growing back thin and weak, and I ended up cutting all of them because of the damage. I also asked the owner to explain the manicure service and what it included. After reviewing it, I realized the nail tech skipped steps such as lotion and the hand massage. Even after the owner brought it to her attention, she still refused to complete the service properly. As someone who lives only two minutes away, I really wanted to support this business, but I no longer feel valued or respected as an African American customer. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where professionalism, customer care, and respect are a priority.

She took off all of my lashes, my eyes were burning and I laid there for two hours and when she was done I had less lashes than I had before I went in. My eyes were stuck together and were burning and when I opened my eyes there were big gaps where she pulled my eyelashes out and it hurt. And she charged me 150 dollars to come out with less eyelashes I had when I went in. I look horrible and I paid $150 to have my own eyelashes pulled out. i asked her what kind of lashes she was using and she said that I SAID I WANTED THEM TO LOOK NATURAL. I NEVER EVEN SAID THAT!!! Ladies be careful of this place if you're looking to have lashes done. THEN She said she would take them off for me!! HA! After pulling out my real lashes and having my eyes glued together.... do you think I want her to take them off and leave me looking like this? AND she is answering her phone the whole time she's doing my lashes. OMG! I give her a BIG ZERO RATING!

Lily has done my last few sets, which is why I specifically booked a 1:00 PM appointment with her. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, she left mid-appointment to do another client's lashes, and I was told (not asked) that another tech would finish my nails. I was handed off to a new tech I didn't know, and the appointment ended up taking over 2 hours, which felt excessive for a simple fill & deluxe pedicure performed simultaneously. I was also charged $55 for the fill plus $10 for two broken nails, even though 1 nail was just cracked, not fully broken off - bringing my total to more than the cost of a full set ($60). WOW!! When I asked about it, Lily did reduce the fee to $5, which I appreciated. But the situation left me feeling uncomfortable -- especially when their salon website clearly states that pricing is transparent and satisfaction is guaranteed. That said, I live nearby and still want to support this business. I just hope for better communication going forward -- especially when it comes to changes in service and pricing. I think this salon has great potential, and I'd love to keep coming back under more professional circumstances.

I had such an amazing experience at KT Nail Spa! From the moment I walked in, everything was smooth and welcoming--no wait at all, which was such a nice surprise.
