STAY AWAY!!!! That's my advice I came in for a simple gel manicure on my almond shaped nails. Showed Jenna my nude pink almond shaped inspo picture (attached). Instead she gave me the most bare basic nude mani after clipping my nail tips off. It was rushed and bad quality and the clippers came out so fast, and she ignored my request and picture completely. The manicure sucked but I didn't want to get into it, so I smiled nodded said thank you and went to Pay. As I was checking out the receptionist told me about the $12 upcharge for the trim, which btw would've been a complete NONISSUE if I was getting nails remotely close to the nails I asked for. I have no problem paying well (and tipping generously always!) I am not mad about the $ upcharge. I'm mad about the fact that you ruined my long nails by shaving them down, when I didn't ask I even told the nail tech please keep them almond shape but do shorten the length. I was just stunned she was clipping for that and we didn't agree to that, and now you want me to pay extra for the removal. I paid it, but I was like JSYK I'm pretty disappointed with the whole thing and I explained what happened, and I got the most canned response from the receptionist. It wasn't worth the argument, but it was really clear they are just going to let a customer walk out unhappy and not offer to correct their mistakes. Their services are really inconsistent too, I've been in 4 times and the manicures are all over the place. Sometimes they're rushed, other times you might get cuticle oil and a hand massage, but you never know. The training and skill level amongst the staff is hit and miss. With a million salon options, sorry but I'm going to go to the place that is well run, consistent and inviting. Not only this, but the atmosphere is unrelaxing. Dust covers the surfaces by the washing station, hair on the floor, waste baskets full. Give me a swiffer and I'll take care of it in 5 minutes while your staff sit around, scrolling. (Talking esp about the receptionist, young lady with the blond hair who perches in front of the iPad) They had on a baaad techno Pandora station, turned up to a headache inducing volume, at 11 in the morning. A tacky cover of Sweet Dreams by Euryheymics bops. *unce unce* The girl diagonal to me just looked at me and shook her head. Bad vibes, messy salon, checked out staff, and terrible Vegas pool party music. But at least the walls are bright pink! read more

First time visiting Blush DTX. Keep in mind I have not gotten a manicure in 10 years. Came during their soft opening and my god the aesthetics were amazing. They had so many photo ops like a cool telephone booth, flower wall & even just the outside of the store was very inviting. I got a manicure with dipped French tip & a small design on my ring finger. It turned out so good! It was exactly what I wanted in regards to length, color & shape. The dipped process was really cool to see too. Price was reasonable. Great customer service. The receptionist Vivian was so professional & greeted my friend and I with such southern hospitality. The (2) restrooms were very clean. Lots of parking spaces within the plaza. Also a plus, there's a feng Cha next door so you can also get your boba fix :) They did follow all CDC guidelines and you must wear a mask, they will take your temp, and sign a form. I know a lot of the reviews say that this salon is on the pricey end but the quality of their work is top-tier. I come in with a new design every time and they are able to execute it pretty much perfectly! I see Jade exclusively and she always executes my vision. I always book for an essential mani and add the nail art add-on. I also go in to see Henry and Nancy from time to time for pedicures, which my fiancé also enjoys with me! They serve a variety of sparkling water, sodas and mimosa if that's what you want. The owner is always on top of the latest nail trends and has the most beautiful collection of polish and little trinkets like gold flakes, gems, pearls, seashells, and even jellies! I have been to a few places here, California, and my hometown but haven't yet come across a place with so much variety and skill. read more

!!VERY PRICY!! We went here for my sister, my mom and me to get our nails done for a wedding after I saw this place on Instagram. Ofcourse, a party of 3 getting nails done is always expensive but I've NEVER seen this price total in my life from a nail salon ($406)! Inside of Blush is so pretty and pretty small but the nail artists know what they're doing. I also want to add: there is no menu that we were given. No book for prices or options for things, we just went in, sat down, told them what we wanted, but they didn't tell us anything about prices. No hate to this place, I loved my experience nails and comfort wise, but that price is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe come here if you want only your fingernails done, I wouldn't do a Mani Pedi. read more

First off, they were all very accommodating, helping me feel confident about the color I was choosing because they saw I had probably more questions than normal lol. Overview: It was really nice to stop by this boutique after a draining diagnostic exam. I was a walk-in on a busy day, so I sat in their waiting space and admired the cute decor. There's plenty of photo opportunity with the aesthetic pink and floral theme. I noticed that the nail artists were very attentive to their customers, asking them if they wanted drinks and making sure the pressure/heat wasn't too high. I chose the Rituals manicure, and I enjoyed the stone and shoulder massage. As for the collage, it's just a little something to show the inspo for the nails. I was very inspired by the artist Awich's backstory, and wanted to embrace a bit of her by emulating her staple gold nails. While I'm still on the hunt for the perfect rose gold polish, I am pleased with the shimmer of the one in the picture. Additional details: In case you don't bring enough cash, they let you tip with card, thankfully. I think coming on a less busy day would have been better, but it didn't feel overly hectic. As someone with overly sensitive cuticles, the steaming really helped soften the process. My daughter who lives in Dallas wanted to try this place and made appointments for us for manicures and pedicures. I did not see the Services Menu before our bookings and that's on me. I know everyone thinks California is expensive but this place is highway robbery compared to California prices. Let me start with the pedicure. We did not get the least expensive but one up from that. Basic soak, nails trimmed, callus scrub, massage and polish. It was certainly the most efficient pedicure I've received for $62. The entire process took maybe 30 minutes At home in California, my $65 pedicure takes over 1 hour. I get the basics as described above but with a leg mask and exfoliation, callus soak with hot towels and a 15 minute massage instead of 5. So really no comparison here. The most shocking is yet to come. I have Gel X nails. It is not recommended to fill gel x as the nails don't hold up. My nail salon charges $75 for a full gel x set including removal of the previous nails and an extra $5 for painting French tips. This salon charges $95 PLUS $12 to remove the previous set plus $20 for French tips. My nails cost $127 ! All told, my experience was an eye popping $208 I know Gel x is not common in the Dallas area but these prices will have me looking around even if I have to drive a bit Overall the salon is cute and the people are friendly but sadly not worth the prices read more

They got me in the same day and Jenna gave me one of the best manicures I've ever had. I keep it simple: short, natural nails that I like to keep slightly rounded, and buff shined. Jenna was very meticulous & my nails look perfect! I enjoyed the collagen gloves & massage as well. I appreciate that all the tools are removed from individual sterilized bags, and that there are Covid policies in place. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town! read more

First, you wait in your car and call them stating you're there for your appointment. The welcome you in, take your temperature, and you wash your hands. Everyone is wearing a mask and many of the techs were also wearing face shields. They seat you where you're quickly greeted by your tech. They also have plexiglass dividers between you and the techs plus any other clients that may have an appointment as well. I am very new to getting my nails done with dip powder and I wanted to try something new for my birthday. I am a student at UT Dallas I want something local and the salon is very close to campus. It's in a very nice, safe neighborhood and the salon was very easy to find. I attended a soft opening the salon had. I really loved the ambience of the salon and the soft colors. I was very relaxed as I soon stepped inside. Since it was my birthday weekend, I decided to treat myself to getting my lashes done. I have done this a few times but I wasn't 100% sure of what I wanted. The lash technician, Lillian, was so sweet and patient with me. To me, it seemed like she went to every single inventory of lashes that she had and detailed the pros and cons of each lash to make sure I found the best one for me.I could not have been any happier with the results! As for my nails, I am in love! I frequently let my nail tech, Linh, know this was my first time getting my nails done but I definitely felt like I was in good hands. She answered any questions I had about my nails and made sure I was happy with my results every step of the way. I definitely think Blush is a salon that will be here to stay and somewhere that I would want to go often if I want a little bit of glam in my student life. I had been a client at Sweet Nail Bar in Richardson going to Lily for years but after the past few times she has gotten lazy. This last time she was so rushed to just get me in and out it took her only 30 mins to do my set. I was so displeased I started looking for another location to take the ugly set off the same day and found Blush. Made an appointment with Nina for the next day and omg! This woman is an artist! She redid a whole new set and asked for the exact same style based on the exact same inspirational photo I had showed Lily at Sweet Nail. THE DIFFERENCE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF! Never going back to Sweet Nail especially after asking for a refund and being told they do not do refunds - the manager has to fix them until the customer is happy. Uniformity of nail filing very poor. Polish continues to peel off. Salon is a little run down. Does not support $62.00 for a no-frills manicure. It is no better than the $20.00 manicure at other salons. And I do not want a $20.00 manicure. I received a 20.00 manicure and paid $62.00 for it. Nothing about Blush is exceptional. Just had the best manicure of my life!!! I found this place on Yelp and decided to take a chance. Not only was it super clean (including COVID measures) but Nancy, who did my nails, was great! She gave me the kind of manicure I would give myself if I could. She carefully removed my old gel polish to not damaged my nails. She was so meticulous and careful. The manicure included a collagen hand mask. She also mixed a white and pearly color to give me a custom color I wanted. The manicure is normally $50 but they have a 25% discount right now. read more
