I had been here at the end of September for a quick pedicure as my regular shop was booked up for the weekend. Linda ended up waxing my brows and giving me a top notch pedicure so I decided to go back last week and it was not the same. Everyone was nice but the quality of my dip nails was horrible. 2 of my real nails have broken in less than 3 days and the job was sloppy. The tech filed down so much of the powder on my thumb she had to add more but she didn't bother to smooth it just left me with a clump of extra powder. Cuticle filing poorly done. And she cut me while filing on the sides of several fingers. I cannot suggest this place for services to anyone. Ok never be back. read more

And decent pricing for the powder in eyebrow wax. I came in on Saturday at 6:10pm on a Saturday for a pedicure. They close at 7pm and I got seated immediately. Kim did my pedicure. We chatted for a few minutes and she told me it was her 3rd day here! I got the deluxe pedicure with the additional 13 minute massage which was nice. Let's just say they squeezed fresh orange juice on my legs which were covered in this sugar scrub..anyways totally worth it because my pedi and legs looked and felt amazing afterwards! Kim didn't rush and she was very professional. Not only was my pedi fabulous, the inside of this nail salon is extremely clean and inviting. It's one of the cleanest nail shops I've ever been in. Have gone here many times before on my lunch break. Was told that because I went somewhere else for my nails that they would charge me an additional 10 to take the old ones off. Not impressed at all. I set an appointment for me and 3 of my girlfriends. When we arrived, they were pretty busy so I do not fault them for the minor wait. After 10 minutes of waiting they sat us in a chair to wait. The bowl was filled to the minimum with lukewarm water, at best. Couple minutes later, we had cold water and our feet freezing. A nail technician came over to me and set her items in front of me and was about to sit down. Prior to sitting down she asked me which pedicure I wanted and I told her the Classic one. She then asked 1 of my friends what pedicure she wanted, which was also the Classic. She continued to go down my group of friends until one said the Deluxe. Once she heard Deluxe, she moved her items to service my friend. Go figure, the two that wanted the Deluxe were serviced a lot faster than the ones who were getting the Classic pedicure. If you are wanting a basic pedicure, you are not as important to service. My nail technician was very nice but the massage was a joke. He pretty much rubbed lotion on my feet. I asked him to massage harder and nothing changed. What is offered in the Classic pedicure compared to other nail salons is very minimal. I paid to have my toe nails cut, lotion rubbed on my feet, and polished. I do not plan to come back. read more

Did not have a bad experience, but also not a great one. Walked in right after a group of 4 girls, my group of 4 had a appointment but the receptionist didn't seem to care. We had to wait for a bit to get seated and then a bit to get worked on. The nail tech i had was very nice and did a great job on my manicure. I am a runner so I know my feet are not great, but if I pay for a nicer pedicure to remove my calluses I expect for them to do a little more work on them then my nail tech did. I was really excited to get my nails done and I was honestly super disappointed with the whole experience. Tracey did my nails and she did an okay job. I asked her to fix the shape a little bit and she would and then I asked if she could make the dip a little thinner and even out the dip on the edge of my nail bc it was thinner on the center. She said yes then I asked her to do it on a few more nails and she seemed a little annoyed and said "if I do thinner your nail will break" which I completely agree with but the dip wasn't even, at all. she also hurt me with the nail tool that buffs the dip after i asked her to even out more nails and she didn't apologize.... I have been going to Sweet Nail Bar for almost 2 year now. The service has been declining for a few months. I usually spend no less than $100 for my manicure and pedicure. It started getting rough when I asked for my finger and toe color to match. The nail techs got very agitated with me and said it's impossible. "Um ok, then never mind. Just do my toes white" I said, the nail tech got even more mad and said why did I have to be difficult. After that I did not ask for anything out of the ordinary, especially not matching color. God forbid. After that it was easy going. Then they started giving me to Kimmie. I don't know if she is new or still training. At first she would file too close to my cuticles and tear them up. I looked past it. Last time she burned my left pointer finger while filing, after taking off my dip polish. I went in yesterday to get a dip full set, I have stopped going to them for pedicures, and she pushed down so hard when filing my nail it cracked my nail. Not the part past my finger, but my actual nail. I jumped and she tried to say it was ok. I said it was not. It really hurt. She said she was sorry but grabbed my hand and kept going. I pulled my hand back and said no, stop. I cannot finish because I need to let my nail heal. I asked for the manager, but she wasn't there. I walked out. I called and was told the manager was not available. Emily called me a few hours later. Her exact words were "What do you want me to do about it?" TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE BETTER. TELL KIMMIE TO BE MORE CAREFUL. Then she says she needs to see the damage and I need to come back up there. No thank you. I will not be going back. It's really sad though. Not terrible. It may have just been my nail tech that doesn't know how to file in a straight line. This was my first time going there. I, once again, cheated on my nail tech and came to this place in a rush. The place is super nice and so was the staff. In fact, I think every staff member that walked by said hello and smiled at me.
