Jennifer "The Owner" was supposed to give me a full set of lashes last week. I was there for an hour and it didn't dawn on me that a full set takes two hours. I definitely was charged for a full set only to loose half of them on the way home and the other half overnight! Let's not forget about the new "bonding" serum she used which felt like she stuck a torch directly in my eye! The next day we exchanged a few text messages and she said she would refund me my money. Well it's the day before Christmas Eve, she ended up blocking me on her cell phone and never returned any of my calls. Keep in mind I never lost my temper... I was actually in tears because she took away something I wanted for the holidays! Jennifer is very unprofessional, is cold hearted and untrustworthy! This experience was my first, and possibly could be my last. Kaitlyn was more than 15 minutes late, with zero apology for her lateness or even acknowledgement of the issue. Once the process was started up to the perming, she had a want to talk. After wards, it was easier and I guess more convenient on her end to leave and go have a chat with her friend upfront and ignore her client. Then came the harder issue for me, the perming solution began burning. Kaitlyn was prompt with helping me at that point. Speeding through to the after and roughly 3 hours after; I'm finding grief that has been left on my eyes, there are areas of tint that were not removed, and my eyes are still sensitive. First impressions can be the most important aspect of any customer service area, but it blew most trust out of the water with Kaitlyn. With this being my first eyelash lift and tint, I thought I as a customer would have been more important that whatever conversation was with her friend. Danielle is the best!! Seriously the best! I am new to the DFW area and was looking for lash place. I honestly don't do my lashes often. This will be my 3rd time ever in my life. The purpose of me getting the lashes was for a portrait pic. Location: Convenient to me Parking: Limited and most of it is 2 hour parking Place/ambience: modern decor and clean Service : amazing Okay, so I started with a consult. Consult is 15 minutes and free. I was nervous and have heard horror stories about lash experiences. It was 6 pm; convenient time for me after work. I met Danielle for the 1st time and she had a Halloween costume on. It was the week of Halloween. She sits down with me on the couches and has this calm collected feel to her, like "Don't worry. You are in good hands" vibe. She asks me what if I've ever had them, gives me an idea what the different lashes will look like. Describes the texture and lengths. All I told her was, I don't know much about getting lashes done, but I want them to look "somewhat natural, sultry, and stand out a little so my eyes are more open for a picture" She narrows it down to two suggestions. I look at her still unsure and she gives her recommendation. I told her I trust her, because she's the expert in this. She then goes over in detail with my concerns: post care, wearing makeup , things to avoid etc. After the consult I felt soooo much better! I was excited about my new lashes. On top of that, Danielle seemed very passionate about what she does. She said to me: I love doing this. It's like art. She loves the look when her clients open there eyes after the lashes are done and the transformation and smile she sees. I was pumped at that point! Also side note: they are great at fitting you in as soon as possible. I was booked with Danielle that same week on a Saturday. Full eyelash set services takes about 1.5 hours FYI. So the day finally came for me to get my lashes done! I was still a tiny bit nervous. I asked her again things like how soon could I work out, could I apply eyeshadows that day etc. She answered every question confidently and gave me her recs. The 1.5 hours went by fast. I may have even napped part of the way lol. Danielle walks you step by step in the process so there are no surprises. Another great thing I loved about her service is she uses aromatherapy. Regardless if you are a fan or not of aromatherapy; smells always bring you back to a memory . She started off with orange for positive thoughts and energy. I love the smell of orange and I do associate orange with bright, energetic energy. It was a great calming start. Along the way I can tell she let me guide if I wanted to be talkative or just relax. I like that a lot, because sometimes I just want to relax. Well for the most part I was quiet and relaxing. Towards the end I asked her a few questions to get to know her. She's a really thoughtful, nice, and genuine person. I love how honest she is! The whole process was easy overall. When I opened my eyes, I didn't feel irritation. My eyes didn't feel stuck from the glue. My lashes felt so lightweight, like as if I didn't have any on! I loved that part! I am not use to lashes, so the light feeling was great! Then I take a look in the mirror and BOOM! That was the moment Danielle was talking about she liked to see. I got it. I looked so different: eyes more popping and brighter. I smiled and instantly loved it. She got it right on the nail from the consult! Natural, but sultry, but I still wanted eyes to pop and stand out in the photos. I was thrilled with the whole process from beginning to end. Cost: $150 plus tip (standard price) a little on higher end but totally worth it. They do such a great job and individualize your needs . Refills are also tailored to your individual growth rate so can range from $20-40. Refills are between 2-4 weeks. Now the real test right? Did they fall of the next day? I definitely know I have to play my part for post care, and I did. I followed every instruction given and told to me. Guess what? The lashes have stayed on perfectly . Of course you have brush with wand to adjust some of the lashes, but everything went hands down perfect. Loved the experience and will be going back. I got my eyelashes done here and I did not like the results. I asked for natural looking lashes but they look ridiculously unnatural, they go different directions and the glue I believe isn't that good, so much of them came off (mind you I stay away from rubbing and oily products). I called back to tell them about my issues and was told to come back as the services would be comped. I showed up to my appointment and they decided to charge me. Why even tell me the services were comped on the first place? The workers here aren't careful with what they are telling customers and are giving the run arounds. I don't trust their services. On top of this, I got my eyebrows waxed and I got wax on my hair. Don't waste your money here, they don't know what they are doing. This was BY FAR the WORST experience I have ever had getting lash extensions. The owner Jennifer is the most classless woman I have ever met and the entirety of the staff is unorganized and rude. Jennifer was 30 minutes late to my appointment, glued my eyes shut multiple times throughout the process, refused to create fans by hand, and suggested I come back tomorrow and let the other tech finish. Completely unprofessional... if you don't know what you're doing just be honest. After 2 painful hours, she finishes and my lashes look like I got them done 2 weeks ago and needed a fill... right after my appointment. She then charges me $150 for "hybrid" lashes that are barely visible. I leave and then proceed with my night, by the time I'm home and look in the mirror, THEY'RE ALL GONE. I had absolutely no retention and these $150 lashes were gone in a matter of hours. I have been trying to get a refund but Jennifer has blocked my personal number and the absolutely incompetent man who claims to be their receptionist refuses to provide me with one, insisting I come back in and let them redo my lashes. I do not want to sit through a painful appointment with incapable lash techs again, I WANT A REFUND. DO NOT COME HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. Great experience here. I went in on Wednesday for my first set of lashes. They had a new stylist and were booking her at $99 for a full set. Danielle was fabulous! Very relaxing, no skin irritations. And most important, lashes look great. Full and natural. On one of my eyes some lashes stayed curled but the ones in the middle are not and it doesn't even look like they were lifted on the other eye. Your business should stick to lashes and NOT accept clients for brow waxing/shaping. Diana seems very pleasant but please do not have her shaping anyone's eyebrows again until further training. Yesterday, what she did to my eyebrow was hideous to the extent that my 9-year old son commented on it. She pretty much shortened my brow; she waxed off the ends of my brows and spent most of her time trying to shape the brow by tweezing. While she was working on my brow, I sensed she wasn't confident and the end result proved it. We're not talking about a bad pedicure here. To add to the annoyance, I later noticed 4 pending charges on my bank account. I'm definitely not going back and won't recommend the lash bar to anyone. I went to the Lash Bar and Desiree did my lashes but unfortunately, they fell out in less than a week. I went by there and the receptionist and another lash tech agreed that should not have happened and said they would give me a new set. They did not have time on their schedule and agreed to remove the last three lashes. I had purchased a package deal that included the set plus two fills. Now I called to make an appointment and I was told they do not show anything on my records. Here this whole time I thought I had a credit with them. The receptionist said she would talk to her manager and her manager would call me back. I received a call back from the receptionist telling me unfortunately it expired. I asked what expired you have my money and I was not told it would expire. So there is money down the drain because they don't honor their bad work and now they want to tell me it expired. Do not go there and the manager did even have the decency to call me and had the receptionist try to explain something that made no sense. Thanks for taking my money and not providing what I paid for. If I had known this, I would have asked for my money back when the lashes fell out but I trusted they would honor what they told me. Both Lisette and Destiny have done my classic refills and I've been fixed up by both Kayln and Lindsey for the volume lashes. Destiny even hooked me up with some awesome gold glitter lashes which I am now obsessed with. I'm fairly picky about wanting my lashes to look long and full and I never leave disappointed. I have been going to Kayln for over two years when it was called the Lash Lounge Richardson. It is now called the Lash Bar Richardson and it is even better than before! My lashes always look full and amazing! The best part is they stay on through my excessive addiction to spin and yoga! I can usually go three weeks for a refill, but of course Kayln recommends two weeks ;). BUT the main reason I go back is because I have taken multiple breaks and my lashes are never damaged!
