I moved to the Dallas area a month ago and therefore had to find new everything -- new places to do…read moremy hair, lashes, nails, etc -- which has lowkey been a nightmare because I'm so picky. I have always kind of struggled with retention when it came to lash extensions even though I do my due diligence with following care instructions: wash the lashes every day, brush them out, no oil products, etc etc, and would still need to fill my lashes every two weeks or less or else they would look raggedy. I found Tammy on Yelp and have gotten two volume fills with her so far and, oh my god, the retention on her lashes is absolutely insane!! I'm currently two weeks out and my lashes still are SO full. She also really takes her time and makes sure that you leave with full, full lashes! The first time I saw her, I got a foreign fill and my lashes were pretty much depleted after two weeks, and Tammy spent DOUBLE the amount of time filling my lashes and making sure I left with a full set. On top of that, Tammy is an absolute joy to talk to and it's clear that she knows her stuff. I will admit, when I read the part of her description that said "once you try us, this will be the last time you do a search for lash extensions," I was like that's very ambitious, but she 100% stands by that. In the two years or so that I've had lash extensions, she's easily one of the best lash techs that have worked on me if not the best. I am definitely not the type to be tied down to one establishment when it comes to beauty services, but I will definitely be a loyal client to Tammy for as long as I'm in Dallas. The only way she could improve her business is a more streamlined system for booking appointments, but her work is second to none. Seriously, once you go to her, you're done looking.

Most techs I've gone to would be in a hurry/inexperienced- gluing lashes too close together without separating, use too much glue getting that clumped look, place lashes on my eyelid or weigh the lashes down with cheaper lashes often breaking or losing lashes rapidly. Don't just go to anyone & do your research. Lashes are an investment, you want someone who can increase enhance your natural lashes, not break them! Her lash work lasts for several week as long as you do your part to keep them clean. They look voluminous without getting clumpy or spidery looking, my pet peeves. First, I was lied to by the NEW management more than a handful of times about scheduling with my stylist I've been going to for a year. They told me she wasn't available for weeks (literally has never happened ever), and I could try a new technician, i just needed a quick one week fill - and it had been my experience before that all the employees were amazing. The girl who did my fill totally wrecked my eyelashes. They were glued together and there was hardly any skill involved. It broke my natural lashes and took about 2 months to finally get back to healthy and normal. And every time I tried to book with Mia after that, I was pushed off over and over to go to a new stylist. Finally I got out of them today that she doesn't work there anymore. There are officially NO original stylists left at this salon. NONE of them are trained in the credible Longmi technique. If you'd like a reputable technician please send me a message and I can help you. (Also note if you didn't see my last review, I've been getting eyelash extensions for 10 years.) One last note - management tried to charge me for a 3 week fill, when it had only been about 12 days since my last appointment. I had to sort of argue with them to note the days and finally they agreed that it was "an oversight". Obviously this shop is now struggling with money - but that was inevitable with the change in management and the fact that all of the trained technicians were forced to quit. I never like to see a business fail but they are running their old reputation in to the ground - and we pay good money and expect quality results EVERY time.
