I'm honestly disappointed that I have to change my previous 5 star review because Haneen does a great job on brows. I know what happens now when unforeseen circumstances arise. She doesn't care and chooses money over her repeat customers. That will only take you so far in your career if you don't value your repeat customers. I had been working a 70 hour week and overslept due to that. Realizing that I was minutes into my appointment and clearly I had been exhausted, I called the second I woke up and apologized to Haneen for missing my appointment and asked if I could reschedule. She didn't even sound empathetic and sounded irritated and told me to reschedule online. As if I did that on purpose. This was the first time I ever missed an appointment at her establishment and she treated me as if this is something that constantly happens over and over again. I received multiple texts from Haneen basically calling me an irresponsible person that doesn't respect small businesses. Who tells that to a customer who missed one appointment that they didn't plan on missing. Sorry I'm human and my body did what it did after exhaustion. I understand if I would be given a cancellation fee and reschedule, but I didn't deserve to be charged full price twice for a one time unforeseen circumstance. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I used Yelp to find a good brow place in downtown Dallas before my friend's wedding, and I found this location. I love technology and the fact that she uses an online appointment system (as easy as it gets). Because some people fake that they use an appointment system and I came from out of town, I called to confirm - but she definitely uses it! You pay and tip online, which is cool. I am very disappointed with my experience here. I booked a eyebrow threading service with Haneen and it was just very unprofessional. First I had trouble with the parking because no where on the website does it have parking directions. I arrived to my appointment at 1:20pm and my service was originally scheduled at 1:30pm. After waiting a little past 1:30pm I called Haneen and told her I have arrived and Haneen said she would be right out. 18 minutes go by and I am still waiting to be seen. I ended up leaving and Haneen called me and told me she was still going to charge my card for the full price of my service because I was late to my appointment though I arrived 10 minutes early so that was just ridiculous. I told her if she charged my card I would leave a review about my experience and she said if I was threatening to leave a review then she was for sure going to charge my card. I have been looking for a eyebrow threader and her work really stood out to me so my experience was so upsetting. I am a person with a tight schedule as Im sure she is also and I do not appreciate either of our time being wasted. If she was running behind it would have been nice to know rather than just having me wait. I hope no one has this experience with her. read more

Haneen used to be a very good tech to me. Until two years ago when I asked her to cancel my appointment I couldn't make it to. An appointment she rescheduled me to due to rainy weather. I was off the original day and wasn't off the next day so I struggled to make it. She was unwilling to compromise even though I have before for her because something with her daughter came up. I stayed away for a while going to another tech, but kept trying with Haneen cause she can be very good when she chooses to. Obviously she hasn't let that one incident go since every appointment I've had up to the one today she's been rude/ standoffi-sh. To me life is too hard and short to focus on small drama from 2 years ago. So I kept coming back. These last two times Haneen was rough with her treatment while threading my eyebrows. Hands too rough on my eyes hurting them that I chalked up the last time to me tripping and that not being the case. It was confirmed today though when she did the same things again and the tip of her finger actually went into my eye. This is the pettiest "professional" I've dealt with so far. There is no better feeling than finding an expert brow threader. I mean the trauma you put yourself and your brows through, just to get a clean shape can be a horrific experience. But look no further, because Brows by Haneen will rescue every inch of brow hairs you have left to save the day. Her suite is located inside Studio 1514 Salon (a very high-class salon), in the middle of the downtown. Since it's walking distance from my job, I don't have to worry about finding street parking. As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by the salon front desk receptionist who is always hospitable enough to offer you a beverage of your choice while you wait for your appointment. Haneen's suite is in the back of the salon, which is great for privacy. She's super professional and most importantly good at her craft. She's a perfectionist and that is something that I admire because my thick curly brows are tough to work with. After my appointment, I walked out feeling like Beyonce! I mean a total face transformation lol. She charges $15, which is expensive compared to most thread places I've been to, but hey... it's totally worth it. No complaints over here. read more
