Hush Hush Tan - Lobby - Spray Tanning Near Me - Dallas, Texas

After-Hours Fee Communication I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience at your Dallas location. I arrived at 7:50 p.m., knowing that your posted hours indicate an 8:00 p.m. closing. I was informed by the front desk (Grace) that walk-ins were cut off at 7:15 p.m., but she kindly offered to accommodate me if I was willing to wait. I appreciated the flexibility, and I waited until about 8:15 for the spray. However, I was then told there would be a $15 after-hours fee--a charge that wasn't mentioned upfront when I agreed to wait. Had that been communicated clearly before the delay, I would have declined the service, as the total would have exceeded $50. My concern isn't with the fee itself but with the lack of transparency. I didn't see any reference to an after-hours charge on your website or booking confirmation, and it wasn't brought up until after the wait. That lack of clarity made the experience feel frustrating and avoidable. I'm sharing this in hopes that you'll consider updating your communication practices so customers can make informed decisions before committing to a service. read more

the best spray tans! never orange & they always last. It stayed on (faded naturally) after swimming & jet skiing in the ocean, swimming in the pool, sweating, etc for 10 days. affordable too! read more

I was nervous about tanning because I've never done it before, but Amanda made me feel very comfortable. Even as a fat hairy man, she made me feel at home and it was so easy. Next time I might even be secure enough to get these pale cheeks darkened. 5 stars, will be back. read more

I typically go to another tanning salon but they were fully booked so I decided to try Hush Hush Tan as it came highly recommend by a friend. It is very conveniently located on oaklawn. I will say parking was tough at peak hours. They were extremely busy and it took a while to be acknowledged but the girl seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers which is understandable. The girl who completed my tan was very sweet and I really like the results. If my other salon is hard to get into again I would definitely book here again but maybe not during their peak hours. read more

I got a rapid tan done and kept it on 3.5 hours. I showered and I'm not kidding when I say the entire tan came off. The tan line completely washed away. I am so disappointed and now have no time to get a great tan before my trip. Waste of my money and now I am not feeling confident. I could've done a better job at home that would've actually shown up. read more

I got the golden glow spray tan and it's absolutely gorgeous. It leaves a nice smooth, beautiful coverage and it has a little gold shimmer all over your skin. It's beautiful. It's also nice that there isn't a weird tanning spray scent on your skin that you'll get from other places. Amanda was great & very thorough and knows what she's doing. The dallas location is very clean and all the employees are very friendly and accommodating. The best part is when it starts to fade it comes off evenly and doesn't look crazy and spotty all over your skin. Definitely coming back to this place !! The golden drops in the gold tan is the way to go !! read more

Really lackluster team. We tried to be nice but they were bored or wanted to be elsewhere. Plus the tab itself, even sticking to their after care, only lasted about 3 days. read more

I am obsessed! Celina does the best job and is so sweet, request Celina when you go!! The Brazilian is a 10/10 keeps you tan for so long!! read more

Hush Hush Tan is my go to for the best spray tan in Dallas!!! Thank you Haley for my amazing tan this week!

Best quality spray tan I have found in Dallas. Clean facilities, great staff. I like to go with the color on the model in the poster (medium). Technician Lauren is my favorite. My tan lasts me 7 days and up to 12 days (if I avoid ocean salt water). read more

Great place! Love my tan Be sure to wear lose dark clothing and flip flops!! It is easy to set up an appointment with them and they are never overbooked when you get there. Tan fat looks better than white fat! read more

I needed a tan asap for my bachelorette this week and I was warmly greeted upon walking in. I've never had a spray tan but have done tanning beds previously. Both gals were extremely nice and answered all my questions and laid it all out for me. Aliyah took care of my spray and was so professional and sweet. Loved the experience and obsessed with my color! (Custom glow medium) Definitely coming back. read more

They're quick -I'll give them that. However they completely missed a part of my body. Thank god I don't have to wear a bathing suit, but very disappointing overall. read more

Highly recommend Kim! After she did the complete spray tan, I realized the tan lines I was left with wouldn't work with the swim suit I planned to wear and she came and touched up/redid the whole tan. I was nervous how it was going to look but it turned out so perfect. She was so nice about it and I really appreciated her making me feel so comfortable. There were lots of appointments available a few days prior to booking and it was easy to book online as well. I got the custom tan which was affordable for Dallas at $45. read more

Had a great experience with Erin. She is so sweet and funny too. My tan turned out great and I will go back for sure. Kim was also very helpful... Thanks Hush hush! read more

This place was recommended to me by a client of mine and they did not disappoint. I made an appointment and I got sprayed from the waist up and face the tan did initially smell once it was on for a few hours but once I washed it off after about 7 hrs it was fine no over powering smell absolutely no streaks and it was very even . It's lasted already almost a week . I haven't gone out of my way to try to maintain it any longer but I'm sure I could have if I wanted to and it would of maybe stayed a bit longer but I don't care to. The fade is nice and easy and the girl was pleasant I would recommend ! read more

I was able to walk in without an appointment and receive my custom glow tan within minutes. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about their tanning products. The booth was clean and I received a great golden goddess tan. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the salon didn't offer lotion to put on your palms or around your knuckles and my palms are definitely orangey and look like I have had a spray tan. read more

Stephanie did an amazing job. Never been here before and my spray tan was the right shade and perfect for the event I had!

Sara was fabulous! Very quick, efficient and full of good information! There was no wait upon arrival and the salon felt very clean.

Did not feel they do as good a job as other airbrush tanning salons whose services I've used. Tan did not turn out that good, and I felt the whole experience was cold and impersonal. No one was rude, but no one was particularly welcoming either. They also do not put barrier cream around your ankles, toes, fingernails and palms, nor do they provide any drying off assistance, other than telling you to stand in front of a fan that's on the floor. Most places I've been blow powder on you to help prevent stickiness. Won't be going back here. read more

So I first want to say that this rating has nothing to do with my tan nor the wonderful employee who applied it. My tan looks great and the person who did it was professional and did a great job. HOWEVER, I won't be returning. The front of the salon is clean, however once they take you back to the rooms, they are filthy. i was actually uncomfortable. Certainly the tanning spray gets on ceilings and walls, but it was all over and the vents didn't have brown residue, rather black spores that looked like mold. The rugs were dirty. I get that at a tanning place, spray gets everywhere but perhaps don't use rugs that can't be wiped clean and please check the vents! I got my tan and got out of there as fast as I could. I was very surpri read more

Kailey was wonderful in walking me through the rapid spray tan process. Color came out beautifully for me and I felt perfectly bronzed for a wedding I was attending! read more

For my very 1st spray tan i was very apprehensive... however, these ladies def made me feel comfortable throught the whole process. Its not easy standing naked in front of a stranger, but Stephanie made me feel so relaxed with her southern and warm personality! If i go back i am def requesting her. read more

I'm orange. They use the same color on everyone. The only difference is how orange do you want to be. If you want to be "medium (orange)" then they make the pressure of the spray higher. There's no custom colors based on your skin color and tone. The price is pretty affordable $40 so that's a plus and that's why I'm giving it an extra star, but I'd rather pay more and get a spray tan that doesn't look fake and orange like this. I'm like embarrassed to go in public. Thank god I didn't do my face! read more

Amazing spray tan salon! Great customer service!Sarah paid so much attention to detail and did a fabulous job!!

This place just get it when it comes to tans. I never leave disappointed and my tan is always flawless.

Oh my gosh, this tanning salon is the best! Super clean, super friendly, and best of all a gorgeous tan that lasted over a week! Get the tan extender - it's awesome. read more

UPDATE: after almost a full week my tan is still pretty dark. It is starting to fade but after many showers, lotion and shaving i'm still seeing a glow. I still highly recommend Hush Hush Tan. I will however agree with the other poster that I wish they had lotion to protect the underside of your hands but I was able to scrub off the splotchy parts I went for the Brazilian tan (double dip) and so far it looks great. The staff was extremely sweet and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. The facility was gorgeous and clean. I will absolutely be back! One thing I do wish they had are bigger fans to dry off. A tower fan seems like it would be a lot better as it could fan you (currently they have a smaller like desk fan if you will) it still does the job though read more

Love this place! Everyone is super friendly and professional. My tan looks great! It's a very nice natural color. Even though I went dark it doesn't look orange. I have gotten compliments on it all day! read more

Today was my first time at this place to get a spray tan, and I had heard good things about it. While my initial experience was good, the lady who sprayed me was very sassy just in general. I had asked for a pretty dark shade, but after the spray tan was over and I had paid, left, and gotten in my car, I realized I was i satisfied with the shade and wanted it to be a little darker. The lady who sprayed me also said that if I wanted to add more color after we were done I could. I went back inside and asked very politely if I could go a little darker, and proceeded to get bitched out by the woman who did my initial tan. She yelled at me for previously saying that the tan was fine in front of her boss and now I was coming back in unsatisfied. I continued to be polite, saying I was sorry but I wanted to be darker and she basically denied me that option and said I would be charged again. Her boss then came to the front after hearing us talking and looked confused, then in a very disrespectful tone, the woman I was having this incident with told me I could take it up with her boss. To that I just responded it was fine and I left without getting appropriate customer service. Hush Hush Tan provides a pretty good tan, but this woman was the downfall of my experience and will inhibit me from going back. read more

YES. Hush Hush does the best spray tans. An added bonus - they have unparalleled customer service! I had Sara as my tech and she educated me during the process, made a touch up before I left, and always referred to me and other clients as "love" or "beautiful." Everyone walks out of this place feeling confident! read more
