I made an appointment to get lip fillers (never had them before) so I wanted to give it a try. Well, as we ALL know, our face is everything. That's the first thing anyone sees. So, I had to go to the best of the best, no hesitation what so ever. From beginning to end, all of my questions and concerns were addressed. She took care of me like a true friend would have. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR A MASSAGE!!! They discriminate, and cross contaminate while they massage you, and also give you burn marks when they massage you because their lotion is not a quality massage lotion. Diane (the owner) is very rude, and the massage was disturbing while she was whistling and dropping the hot stones on the floor. Also, I went to massage school and you are never suppose to lose contact with your client and she would leave the room and come back. They couldn't even do a good effleurage. Also, I gave her a poor tip and she was trying to get more money out of me. I figured being in a nice place like uptown, she would want to keep her reputation high. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE! read more

I typically don't post reviews but I wanted to help clear up some confusion for a past reviewer. I used to go to this spa as I lived in the State Thomas neighborhood but have since moved. Anyway, a past reviewer claimed Diana ("Asian looking woman" who is actually Mexican) locked the door on him and was racist. I think he's made a pretty wild accusation and this is why: Diana works doesn't have employees therefore works alone. The few times I had services performed she always locked the door behind me once I was inside. There were times when the door was locked if I was a few mins early and I'd have to knock. As a female I get why this safety precaution is taken. As far as her locking the door before the reviewer got to the front door, it's probably because this reviewer is male (i.e. Eric is his name) and maybe assumed he wasn't a client walking up to the door as most are female. ?? I wasn't there so I can't say this with 100% accuracy on past reviewer's claim but I know from my experience and what I observed seeing her interact with other customers that she is not a racist. read more

I have been going to Spa D' Luna for a year now. I initially went because I bought a group on. I can't tell you how awesome the owner is she is always kind and very professional. I have been to several very high end spas all over Dallas for endermologie and facials but no one is better than Diana at Spa D' Luna! She has transformed my lower legs with endermologie and worked magic on my face. She even fit me in for a last minute facial before my wedding when I had a major break out. I would love to give this place a better review, but unfortunately I cannot. See, I did not actually have a chance to get a massage here. Not because they didn't want to give me one, or because they were awful (the lady at the front office was very sweet and helpful actually) but because I booked through yelp, and Spa D'Luna does not use yelp to book appointments. I am upset with yelp for allowing me to book through their website, give me a confirmation, and then I show up with no appointment at the actual spa. I called two different times and went to vmail. OMG! Could I be scammed? I then emailed them and email came back undeliverable. I know I saw their hours of operations on their site and being a Monday it showed they would be open. Went to the place to make sure it wasn't a scam. I took a day off and went to the spa and even lined me up a babysitter. When I walked in, there were a group of individuals just staring at me. After an awkward moment, I hand over my gift card printout from Groupon. Lady just looks at me like I'm stupid and said they were closed and only do appointments by scheduling online. Okay, but their site clearly states they were open. I want my $ back at this time and she says, Oh no you have to call Groupon for that. Finally I just say schedule my appointment for a Saturday. She said she would schedule it for me right there and then. Today was that Saturday. Again lined up another babysitter. Took off to the place as she told me show up early. I pull on the door to go in only to know it's locked. Same Lady sees me opens up after a couple of seconds. I walk in and she says, Didn't you get the email last night? Um, I did not. She said my massage therapist is out sick. I asked if there was anyone that could help me? She said no that she was even booked (yet she wasn't doing anything other than holding paper towels when I walked in). She offered another treatment for free if I rescheduled. I was so upset by this that I just said No and just walked away. I came home to look at my email, there was no email that was sent last night. I had an email that came in 1 hour before my appointment that the therapist was going to be out sick and another email 30 minutes after I left the place advising of a free gift. *****NO MORE *** I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND I STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU STAY AWAY!!! WOW.. I never wrote a review for anything but I had to share my experience with Spa D'Luna Uptown. Diana is my girllll!! I came to know her expertise through once of my good friend's. Diana is very knowledgeable with her work experience - she exactly knows what will works for each individual skin type and skin problem. Her prices are beyond reasonable for the atmosphere, treatment and knowledge she offers. She pays attention to every detail, customizes facials according to your skin need. I have recently got Micro Needling fascial from her and I already got so many compliments with my second day recovery that how my skin looks so smooth. At Northaprk Neiman Marcus marketing manager literally stopped me to ask what kind of treatment I had on my face (since my face was still red from the treatment) and I told her about Spa D'Luna - she was extremely excited to try this out with Dianna.
