I wanted to share an update now that I've had my second appointment with Nicole at The Brow Project in Dallas. After my first session (where we chose a nano brow look), I was already so happy. My brows finally looked natural again after years of feeling self-conscious about my old microblading. For anyone dealing with bad microblading or PMU removal, Nicole uses the PicoSure laser (with a 755 wavelength) to lift unwanted pigment safely. The microblading removal process was surprisingly comfortable, and it only took one session to get rid of the blue-grey color that had been bothering me for so long. If you're looking for Dallas tattoo removal specialists, this is absolutely the place. This time, we decided to go with a powder brow style, and I am truly in love with the results. My eyebrows look soft, defined, and perfectly balanced. I don't feel like I have to fill them in with a pencil at all anymore, and I look absolutely gorgeous even without makeup. I was here two weeks ago and wasn't able to post anything until now. So, on to the review! Lauren is freaking awesome!!! I went in for a brow lamination and wasn't sure what to expect. You first have to sanitize your hands and have your temperature checked. If pink is your favorite color, they have it in spades! Very beautiful set up. Nice and clean. Since it was my first time, Lauren told me what she was doing at each step. She is such a warm, friendly person. She made this process fun and relaxing. This is going to be one long (but very worth reading) review - so go get a beverage and some snacks, get cozy, and read on! I want to start by saying, if you JUST started your research about who to go for brows, and came across The Brow Project, you found "the one" - you can stop Googling night and day now, and book your consultation with Nicole. I'm saying all of this as someone who has had their first "eyebrow tattoo" at 14, back in 2001, and has ever since been to way too many brow "professionals" all over the world. Nicole, without a doubt, has been my best experience! Nicole was highly recommended to me by a well-known industry friend, so I didn't even blink before setting up my consultation with her. I went in with my "temporary brow tattoos" and when she took them off, her first comment was "yup, no - because your skin is oily, and because you have no brow hair, we can't just put hair strokes there - we'd need to shade it first to make it look more realistic and dimensional". I always had "just the strokes" - I even had my first tattoo be just that 90's/2000's ugly single-line brow... I was a little nervous about it but at that point, I was in a "whatever - it can't be any worse than the other people who used me as a practice board" mindset. We went ahead and booked my first appointment. Until now, I always came across people who told me "how I should do" my brows and change my looks completely - and not in a good way. They only outlined my brows and never drew a 'preview' to give me an idea of what they were going to look like. I always left the appointment unhappy. On the other hand, Nicole measured my face, outlined the brows, and then proceeded to draw the actual brows. She even let me make the minor changes (like shortening the length of the brow, raising the arch, etc) that I know would have bugged me down the road. She actually listened to me. So far, I had two shading appointments since November 2021 and one hair stroke appointment last week. I can say, this is the first time I'm not going to want to "correct" my brows before leaving my loft. Even now, during the healing process when the brows are all flaky and healing, I love them. I think I may need one more appointment as my facial skin doesn't take the ink well (this completely changes from person to person, someone may do great with just shading and one hair stroke appointment - while another may need more of each) but my brows are still healing and I will not know the final results until next month or so. With all that being said, I will never ever go to anyone else for my brows. Even if I move to another state, I will travel for my touch-ups. I had so many miserable experiences until I found Nicole, I have zero desire to go back to that misery and risk someone messing up Nicole's work. Now, the other details. The Brow Project feels like a whole new world than what's going on outside - every single detail is very well designed. Nicole's wonderful assistant Justin will greet you at the door with his beautiful smile, then he'll get you situated in the waiting room, offer you drinks and start your numbing process. Oh speaking of numbing - whatever cream Nicole is using, that stuff really works. I didn't feel a single thing on all 3 of my appointments - while any other person I worked with I'd be crying mid-way. The entire team is wonderful to work with and once my brows are all done, I'm totally booking a lip appointment with Dallas as her work is fantastic. Seriously, thank you all for all you do! You got yourself a lifetime client and I'm so happy I never have to do another search for a good permanent makeup artist. I love you all so much!! read more

I had an internal debate for a long time regarding this review but here it is. I would like to start off by saying that Nicole and her team are great and really friendly. They run a good operation and I can tell that Nicole is extremely talented. I had an appointment before that I canceled as I chickened out and couldn't go through with it. I managed to complete my second appointment after the anxiety subsided. My main purpose for doing microblading was to reduce the time it took for me to get ready in the morning. I have two little kids and am a healthcare professional so anything to reduce the amount of time is amazing. Nicole put me at ease and everything was clean and well taken care of. I would also like to add that I am obsessed with my eyebrows so I am not sure if anybody could give me what I imagined in my mind's eye. We opted for a more natural look as that is what I wanted. After the procedure was done, I was a little panicky. It looked a bit uneven and one of the eyebrows was a different size than the other (which I noticed after I got home of course). I let it heal and followed the after care instructions exactly. After the healing was done, the eyebrows were still not what I imagined. I was disappointed as I spent over $1,000 on my eyebrows. Even my coworker commented on the unevenness of the eyebrows which was definitely an ego hit. I decided not to go ahead with the follow up appointment as that would have been additional money out of my pocket and I just did not see us getting to a point where I was 100%. I still use all the same eyebrow products as before so nothing has changed in my morning routine whatsoever. Again, no shade to the Brow Project and I would recommend Nicole to anybody. I've been to this location twice since November and will be a loyal customer forever. I'm long overdue for this review. I was an injectable newbie, and had never had any work done previously. I have since done Dysport on my forehead, under eye filler (tear trough), and cheek filler. I am 100% blown away by the results now 6+months later. I had researched a ton about tear trough filler, and when my research brought me to Brittney it was actually for another location and she had just moved to this studio. This is your face, and you should absolutely not skimp on quality. She was thorough, very clear on expectations, and really examines what is best, refusing what is not. I super appreciate that because the idea of being overfilled terrified me. Brittney also is very cautious on how you are doing during the appointment, and pain was very minimal throughout the process. (I mean a needle so close to your eyes is nerve wracking, and this was seamless haha) I'm super appreciative of the results, and very, very happy with them- now months later. Quality is top notch, and the overall aesthetic of the studio is also very fun, Insta worthy, and an overall positive vibe. I am just an ordinary girl, not glamorous or "influential" by any stretch of the imagination. However, from the first moment I walked into The Brow Project, I felt seen, valued and beautiful just for being myself. It means so much to be greeted by name when arriving for an appointment, and this was done consistently at every appointment I attended. Bravo. Having had previous poor microblading work done (which I knew I needed to correct) I was nervous to have any further work done. Nicole and her team did an excellent job of explaining to me what could and could not be done with my brows as they were, as well as showing me what realistic results of corrective brow work would look like. I recently completed my final touchup session after the microblading removal and re-do, and 100% recommend Nicole to anyone fortunate enough to get an appointment. My brows are in the awkward, peeling stage currently, but the shape/positioning are SO much better and I am so excited for the final result! But damn.... when Nicole did my brows, I felt like I had the the most pro/luxury/expert person working their art. There was a huge difference! She uses a different pigment from Germany thats vegan/non toxic and doesn't fade red like others. You can tell she has researched it extensively becasue she got all nerd adorable talking about what chemicals/pigments are bad others put in them I could tell a huge difference how thin the blade she uses is and it healed so fast. Hands down, 1 of the BEST decisions I have ever made. I absolutely ADORE Nicole. She is next level amazing in this industry & really cares/takes pride in what she does. Was I nervous? Hell yah. It's my face, not exactly something people aren't going to see every day & after several traumatizing wax/threading incidents growing up, I refused to let anyone come near my brows & became a pro at shaping & filling them in on my own... but who has time for that?!
