This is a Med Spa and their is no fluff in any treatment. I signed up for something that I did not want. I'd get a treatment but not a membership. The manager called me and said I could cancel my membership if I payed full price for the treatments I had. The people were nice and the treatments were just treatments. What was suggested was more than what I wanted to spend, so I went to the lower end cosmetics and I asked a lady who was helping a lady and was met with "I really don't know" . . . So once again I was looking for products by myself. This is not my usual store and I likely won't return to this store as it felt like there were plenty of employees but none that worked the floor without representing a brand that could provide any assistance.

Absolute TRASH!! I…read morejust got off the phone with this location. Between "Sam" and whatever manager was working on 4/25/25, I will NEVER shop at Ulta again! Returned some items in store today. I wanted to use the credit to buy items online, which were out of stock at that physical location. Sam told me that she would give me a store credit card with the returned amount, and I could then buy an E gift card that I could use online with that store credit card. After 30 minutes of trying to convert the store credit card into an E gift card, I ended up calling the main Ulta customer care. They were so incredibly rude. I heard a gaggle of people laughing in the background, and it was clear that I was being constantly muted. Eventually, the glorious sales representative just hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager. The woman explained to me that all of the information I was given in store was incorrect. She said that you can never use a store credit card to purchase an E gift card. I then called back the original store that I was at earlier in the morning and spoke with Sam. She told me that she meant that I could have received a gift card in store as opposed to the store credit card. That is not what I heard. She then said that she could convert the store credit card into an E gift card, but that she would have to read the number to me over the phone. I told her I was fine with that, and she checked with the manager to see if that would be OK. The manager then got on the line who was so condescending. I explained to her that I don't have an Ulta location physically near me that is convenient. She scoffed at that and didn't believe it. I then told her that Sam was supposed to be checking with her to see if she could convert the store credit card into an E gift card, and she then told me they can't do that either. She also explained that they don't allow you to receive a gift card for store credit in the store typically. So which is it? Both employees are contradicting one another. I told her how unhappy I was with this entire situation. They intentionally make it where you have to return to a physical store in order to purchase anything with your credit, which makes it much less convenient than if you were just able to purchase the items online. That is the entire point. They want to make it as difficult as possible for you to use your store credit. When I told the manager that I would never use Ulta again, she said "well, that's on you." Obviously, I didn't take that rude response well. Thanks, Ulta! I'm so glad I get to spend my birthday going from store to store trying to find one lipgloss in stock. You suck, and I'll NEVER shop with you again. It's Sephora from here on out!

I LOVE this place!! My first visit here was because of a gift certificate from my husband. I have been back every month since! I expressed my skin concerns at my first appointment- scarring, pore size, crow's feet, and loss of firmness on the lower half of my face. Lili, my esthetician explained the benefits of skinpen micro-needling would help will all my concerns. She explained the treatment, aftercare, and expectations thoroughly. She seemed very confident about the results, however I was still a bit skeptical but I decided to give it a try. After my first treatment I already noticed my pores looked smaller and my wrinkles were softer. I have now had 4 treatments, 4 weeks apart. Of all the facials and laser treatments I've had previously, this has been by far the best! Not only do the treatments work, but I feel at every appointment Lili educates me on skin and products. Everyone there is so friendly and is willing to help and sit down and take the time to listen to their clients. They truly want their clients to feel comfortable and understand the treatments. I have been coming to Luxury on Lovers for two years. First of all the atmosphere is warm and inviting with a collection of antiques placed throughout this remolded bungalow house/spa. The Office Manager and Beauty Technicians are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. You are first greeted by Julie Elkins, who deals with the many clients that come in daily. She is very knowledgeable and approachable. She is always smiling and makes you feel like a million bucks. Monica Klocksieben, medical aesthetician, is a highly skilled technician. I have tried many and I believe her to be the most thorough. She goes above and beyond what you have asked for. She spends quality time with you and you never feel rushed but instead relaxed and pampered. Angela, a nurse practitioner, is a skilled injector. She is extremely knowledgeable about fillers, Botox, Voluma, and Sculptra products. All this is done in a cozy, warm luxurious atmosphere. read more

The employees are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcomed immediately. The place is clean and very inviting and the aromas that welcome you instantly soothe you. I recently had an eyebrow wax with Monica and she was incredibly professional. She was able to fix my eyebrows from a recent mistake made by someone else. I had read reviews on the biomagnetics. I wasn't to sure at first but then I went in for a consultation. There are so many benefits that this can do. I couldn't get a full night rest and I was stress from school and work. All they do is put magnets on your pressure points on your ears. No harm. Switch the amount of magnets on each ear for 6 weeks. After the first week I noticed I was less stress. I could get a full night sleep. Some food and soda that I use to drink a lot of, I didn't want it any more. I've lost weight during this process. This was a good decision. Its in a good area. Easy to find. Right off the tollway and lovers. The people there are really nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this place! read more

I had a wonderful experience here! I had a facial and deep tissue massage and both were excellent. The esthetician recommended what she thought would work well for my skin type before starting which i really appreciated. I did the Hydrofacial and I will definitely be back for it again! My skin felt amazing! My massage was fantastic. The therapist really took the time to understand my trouble spots and where the pain was before starting to work on my back. She gave me a fabulous massage and also used the ultrasound technology machine to help reduce a muscle spasm that was causing my back pain. Always on the cutting edge of technlolgy, as usual, my most recent visit to Luxury on Lovers was a real winner. I had an Aerolase treatment that was a huge success. After a slight bit of discomfort and a day or so of modest recovery, the tiny viens around the sides of my nose are almost gone and will be be a distant memory after my next treatment. Additionally, we were able to treat a number of other items on my chest and torso that I will refer to as "skin trash". Those bothersome little spots that would cost a small fortune for a dermotologist to remove are now erased. The Staff is professional, courteous and caring. And the results are remarkable. From Florida to Mexico to spas all over Dallas, I've had awesome facials. But since the last several years I have met my "soul" facial. Lili Bonner gives the best facial ever. She knows what you need and will not "waste" your time with a facial that isn't beneficial to your skin type. She also knows her products and can guide you to what will work for you. Such a lovely and friendly place for pampering. The unique home feel is quaint with luxurious facial/body products on hand to purchase. I've always been a fan of Rhonda Allison products and was surprised to learn Lisa, owner of spa, studied extensively with her. First visit I received Sulpta with Sam, RN who right away made me feel relaxed and told me in detail what to expect (btw: no bruising or downtime). I had an appointment with Gillian today and she was awesome. From the second I stepped in, it was a vibe. Super clean and very poshly decorated! First she talked with me about my skin concerns and overall routine. Then she gave me a breakdown of what she would be doing over the 1 hour facial. The time literally flew by and I was so relaxed by the end. My face is a little red (but we did do a fair amount of extractions and my skin is pretty sensitive to begin with!). Gillian even sent a follow up text for some skin care treatment recommendations over the next few days and sent me home with 2 samples to try out as well. It was an amazing experience and I loved being pampered! Thanks Yelp (and Samhar) and Only FacIal (and Gillian!)!

I'm happy to report I just finished my second treatment and when I look in the mirror I see younger eyes and fuller lips and an overall more rested looking face. Instead of answering my questions, the conversation turned into trying to get me to pay $100 nonrefundable deposit to book a consultation for my questions. As a potential client, I don't think it's unreasonable to want basic information before committing money to a consultation. I repeatedly tried to get answers to my questions so I could determine whether their services were a good fit and within my budget. Unfortunately, I never received the information I was asking for. What made the experience even more frustrating was that once it became clear I wasn't ready to pay the deposit without additional information, communication essentially stopped. Rather than addressing my concerns or answering my questions, I was ghosted. The entire interaction felt more focused on securing a deposit than helping a potential customer make an informed decision. Maybe their services are great, but based on my experience, customer communication and transparency during the inquiry process were disappointing.

I just had another great experience at Blue Mermaid Spa!…read more Having had Jane's amazing ultrasound facials, I decided to try microneedling. I was apprehensive -- I mean, who ilkes needles, right? -- but Jane patiently explained the whole process to me and that made me feel much more comfortable. After removing my makeup, Jane applied a numbing cream so that I would be more comfortable during the procedure. About 20 minutes later, she began the needling on my newly-numbed face. Jane uses the latest and greatest equipment, and she changes out the needling tips for every client -- not all spas do this, because it's expensive -- and that's one of the reasons why I trust Jane with my skin. While I wouldn't call the needling part exactly relaxing -- because it's a little jarring the first time -- the results were amazing. As she needled each section, she applied a serum product to absorb into the skin, and sent me home afterward with a deeply hydrating mask for use later that evening. My skin looked a tiny bit sunburned afterward -- I am very fair -- but it wasn't bad at all. The next morning, it looked amazing -- glowy and firm. I have great skin, and Jane's microneedling made it look even better. I highly recommend Jane and this treatment! I will be back for two more!
