RUN from this place as fast as you can! My leg was burnt during Laser treatment. I am very disappointed and wish I would have never gone to My Med Spa in the first place. I had hoped for good service and attention to detail after reading reviews, but alas- it is a scam. It is totally a bait and switch tactic. I signed up for the LHR treatment package of six sessions and had 2-3 sessions on various areas. During the session, my leg was seriously burnt. I specifically asked during the previous session not to increase the laser strength as it was getting uncomfortable, but the technician did not pay attention. I contacted the office the next day to let them know, but no one returned my message. After several attempts, I emailed the office manager asking to see the on-site nurse practicioner. The manager Nicole avoided taking responsibility for the damage and made all kinds of excuses. It took almost a month to see the practitioner who clarified that the error was due to the technician's improper use of the laser device. My leg was burnt and scarred for life & I was offered $25 gift card as a consolation!!?? I declined further treatment and asked for a refund which did not happen. Nicole kept promising a refund which never came through even after 3 months. Now my leg is scarred and treatment is incomplete. Nicole is terribly money-minded and will come up with all sorts of things to make you feel like you are getting a good deal when in reality you are being duped. I would not send even the worst enemy to this place. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this upscale Med Spa. When you walk into the gorgeous spa, you are greeting by the sweetest staff members. The entire staff from the owner, Nicole (yes! The owner was working and introduced herself!!) to the amazing clinical staff exceeded all my expectations. They were all so knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family after my 1st visit- which is why I have been a customer since they opened last June. It's hard to find such a caring, compassionate group of women. I will say- I am very pleased with the "updated" staff members. I believe the new ladies were such a great addition to their already awesome team!! I highly recommend My Med Spa in Plano. Tell them I sent you! I just saw a review posted from "Jodi" I have to put my two cents in here. I find that comment highly unlikely to be true and she also looks a lot like the old receptionist, who I have seen numerous times. She did refer me to Brittany for my Botox because they were friends and said she also injects her. I was told when I called for my last appointment that my previous injector wasn't there and Susan (who is so sweet and helpful) gave me a very detailed history on 3 ladies. I have to say that I was beyond pleased with my choice of injectors. They were all packed with tons of experience. While they may be new to My Med Spa, they definitely aren't new to the industry. I am so impressed with the level of care and professionalism at this center. I have now been here multiple times for a variety of treatments and feel completely confident in this stellar team. I am mixed race and it is often difficult to find proper care for my unique skin. Sherri has lead me through both injectable and laser treatments with exceptional care and results. I have never felt rushed and my numerous questions are answered with such a level of knowledge that I'm immediately at ease. Alyssa handled my Hydrafacial (and extremely dry, scaly patches) like a seasoned pro. Corrine, at the front desk, always works beautifully to fit me in based on my busy work schedule. This is not a team that simply wants to take your money and shoo you out the door; their focus is on optimal care and keeping your skin as glowing and healthy as possible! In the past, I've gotten my HydraFacials through Groupon. They always have good deals and I figured that since they use a real machine, it has to be the same. Wrong. I finally got a REAL HydraFacial from My Med Spa in Plano. They e-mailed me a great deal for $75 as opposed to the usual $200 dollar price point. The whole experience with them was great but the facial itself was amazing. My skin was GLOWING when I walked out. Like the glow models and actors have for red carpets. I loved the experience and how clean my face felt afterwards. You can feel a tingling (not painful at all) sensation for the extraction part but you can really tell it's working and pulling the gunk out. Their entire staff is so helpful and sweet! I had such a great experience at My Med Spa with Katlin and the entire team! Katlin did my dysport injections (similar effect as botox) and was absolutely wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to answer my questions, and followed up regarding my results to ensure I was happy. This was so reassuring because other spas have simply done injections and booked the next appointment. Katlin openly discusses various treatment options with me as we create a plan to achieve my desired results. This is the place to go if you want to be pampered and treated like royalty! I went there with my sister to have lip injections and I walked out kicking myself for not doing it earlier. It's not just the amazing results, but Stephanie is a ROCKSTAR with the most amazing personality to go with it. She is a perfectionist, which we all want when it comes to delivering results...she goes above and beyond ! The rest of the staff are very professional and friendly, the entire experience from start to finish was phenomenal. On top of the excellent service, they charge a fraction of other places. I went in for a hydra facial and wow! They take the time to really access your skin, your needs, and your wants. They were able to show me areas that needed in improvement based on the in depth skin analysis they did and show me how I would age with the true skin age, which was amazing! Kathleen did my facial and she was so sweet! We chatted the entire time and she never tried to push products on me but would simply say "maybe try this next time." My skin felt so clean and smooth. A few months ago, I had Katlin do my lip fillers. I couldn't understand why I could never get my lip liner to go on evenly. Katlin educated me on how she could transform my lips and make them symmetrical. My lips are now even and perfect!!! I'm so excited to have a Cupid's bow again! I LOVE their hydrofacial!!! No pain, no peeling and leaves your face glowing and fresh. I have not had to wear makeup since I had it done and I will not be going back to microdermabrasion, this is soo much better! The girls that work at my med spa are so nice and very professional. I took my son in to get a treatment on his face for acne, and as I'm watching him get a hydrafacial before this laser treatment, he starts snoring. I was sold. I had to get one myself. As we get in the car, my son ask me how was my nap, we both laughed. Needless to say, I get a hydrafacial every two weeks now. I would highly recommend this place to everybody. read more

Had a fantastic experience with laser hair removal here! I had treatment before and it was really uncomfortable, but here they did a great job assessing my pain and explaining why certain areas are sensitive. Very knowledgeable staff.
