Please be aware that she changes her hours on a regular basis- so you never know when she will be there. There have been multiple times that I have shown up and she is not there and will magically be "closed" on days she was normally open. I will not be going back again. read more

Not impressed at all. Only giving this place 3 stars since it was near my home. Price was also fine. If you're in a pinch this is alright. But the lady should've wiped down the seat after the person ahead of me got up. And then she didn't know how to thread at all. Shapes off of my eyebrows, she left a lot that needed to be cleaned up and I had to ask her to go in again. She was also slow. One of the bigger issues was the lack of communication. I'm not sure if the lady wasn't comfortable with English, but I called because I couldn't find the salon. I asked her what shops are you located near, what's next to you? And she just kept repeating the address and the suite number, which wasn't helpful. I finally found a salon with a different name, and the threading salon is located within that salon. So you wouldn't be able to find Everest outside. read more

"Eh" I'm new to the area and looked up places on google to get my eyebrows done. The first time I went here they did a decent job, it wasn't great and it wasn't terrible. Their shop is a little small with only two seats. I personally like more of a personality when I'm getting my eyebrows done as well as a little more time when I'm getting them done. They were very quick and did an okay job. The second time I went was a disaster. The lady did my eyebrows and it was horrible. I told her about it, and she said that's the way my eyebrow was shaped. I've been getting my eyebrows done for about 7 years now. Never in my lifetime have I been told something like this. After that I decided to not go back. This place is good for you if you like quick service, and you're not too picky about your eyebrows. I don't know how to do makeup or anything so if my eyebrows look a mess, they'll look a mess until they grow out and I get it redone again. read more

I was relatively new to the area and as a lot of us go through, it was hard for me to find a place that I could trust in doing my eyebrows. I searched and read through tons of Yelp reviews and came across this place. The first time wasn't the best experience but it wasn't the worst. As time went on I would explain what I wanted done and began to love the results every time. Well that changed this most recent time. I went in and had them do a regular clean and as she went to hand me the mirror she tells me that she cut me. How? I have no clue, but now my eyebrow was cut below the arch and was starting to bleed a little bit. She still charged me full price for my eyebrows even though she cut me. Now I'm left with a scar underneath my eyebrow.. This is the first time I've ever had this experience and I have been coming to this location for months. read more

Really great service in the Lakewood area! I've tried Wink but didn't like the shape I got there. Highly recommend - it's in the salon suites at hillside village. Suite 32. The room only fits you so no covid scares! They also keep their masks on. $10 for an eyebrow threading, will be back. I love the fact that Everest is located less than 5 minutes from my place! The location was pretty difficult for me to find during my first experience here but I eventually found it after calling. The two chair threading salon is located within an area where there are many other different privately owned business salons. The cost of the service isn't too expensive either! I do recommend this place but I would probably go when it's not "traffic hour" because you could end up waiting awhile since it's a small establishment. Can't complain! read more

I went today, Sunday, one hour before closing time. I didn't have an appointment, but I was given service right away. I loved the service- the place was small but immaculately clean. The service was great and very friendly. I love how my eyebrows look- they make such a difference! I used to go all the way to Richardson but this place is better and closer to my house. No waiting time and they used fresh thread (cause at the other place I went to it seemed like the lady always used the same piece). Very affordable- eyebrows were $8 and lips $4. LOVE IT! I really like this place. I live around the corner so its convenient. It's always busy so I call before to see how long of a wait it is. Usually there are two main girls that work here. However, my recommendation is for this place does not involve a recommendation for Amber but Amber isn't usually there anyways. She usually works in the Irving location. And, in all fairness, even though she did mess up my eyebrows she was 20 minutes late to work and I had to get to work as well. My experience: On this particular Wednesday I showed up just before 9 AM. Amber was 20 minutes late to work. I think she was working hastily because I had called the cell number listed on the website to make sure they still opened at 9 AM so her boss knew she was late. One eyebrow has a severe arch and the other doesn't.... At first she acted like she didn't see the mistake and they were always like....really....how could she not notice and why would I continue to have them different shapes?...and acted like I was the one that didn't know what I was talking about...(remember, I have been coming here for months). Then she admitted it (because how could she not) and said "Sorry, I didn't mean to, it just happened, you can fix it with an eyebrow pencil" So, maybe Amber is good at eyebrows on a day when she didn't leave her house late, drove from Euless in traffic and was 20 minutes late to work. I get it...we all have bad days...I just happened to be at the brunt of her bad day this Wednesday. There is nothing that can be done now that my eyebrows don't match, are super thin and have a dramatic arch...something I've never had before. So, I'll return...I'll just go on a day when AMBER is NOT working. If she's there, enter at your own risk. Amber normally works at the Irving location. The owner of Everest works in Irving and offered for me to drive out there and she'd fix my eyebrows and she was nice enough not to charge me for Amber's mistake but still..I would have rather paid $8 + tip to not have to live with oddly shaped eyebrows until they grow out months later. read more

Went there kind of on a whim, after my own eyebrow shaping attempt ended rather poorly. Came out 10 minutes later with perfectly shaped arches. Will be back for maintenance. I can't believe I was going all the way over to West Village to Wink when this little gem was hidden right in my neighborhood! It's cheaper ($8 for eyebrows at Everest), and the technicians are better...I've found my new threading place! I am not going to lie and say it's painless...threading just hurts, no matter what. BUT, there's far less pain if you go regularly - I've been going to Everest every couple of weeks, and I can tell the pain diminishes each time. Plus, the technicians there are very skilled, and they hurt far less than anyone I ever had at Wink (a couple of times at Wink they nicked my skin and made me bleed - ouch!) I love the shape of my eyebrows after coming to Everest, and I almost have a wreck on my way home every time because I am admiring them so much in the rear-view mirror! read more

This is an overdue review. I decided to do a comparison shop of all the eyebrow threading places in Dallas but since my eyebrows take eons to grow back I have only been to Everest and Heena. I am surprised that no one has mentioned that Everest is inside of a "beauty center." Its only one shop inside of a huge salon and I walked by it twice before I had to stop and ask the front desk for directions. They are very quick and pleasant, and as another yelper wrote, they like shape your eyebrows thin. They were very thorough with me and I have never had eyebrows that thin before and I like it, its a nice change of pace. read more

I've only been here once, but I have no complaints. I came on a Saturday with little to no wait. It's a bit hard to find as it shares a complex with many other privately owned salons. Service was good - just about as good as Henna Salon off Belt Line. I moved near White Rock Lake, so I'll be a regular here from now on since it's closer to me now. read more

Worst eyebrow threading experience of my life. My brows were already shaped, so all I asked for was a simple clean up. I was also careful to ask not to have them threaded too thin, and that I wanted to keep my brows nice and full. I ended up with pencil thin brows, with two bald spots on my right. Really upsetting to have to pay for service, especially when you aren't happy with the outcome. I will not be going back. Save your money, and avoid this place. read more

I am not a fan of brow waxing - It's sticky, it turns your bright red for hours, & my skin rebels something awful. I've heard about threading, but I haven't been brave enough to try. This past weekend, I decided to suck it up & be brave. How did I not know about this place sooner? I'm not even sure I knew about the Lakewood Salons, but this was a great experience. These ladies really know their trade. They're quick, gentle (though it still stung a bit), & are cheaper than the competition. I walked right in & had stellar brows in no time. Thank goodness, because those things had gotten out of control. And it only cost me $8 (before tip)! They hold great hours & welcome walk-ins. I can honestly say I am done with brow waxing. I've tired several places around the Dallas/Irving (Wink, Styles of India) area and fell in love when I found this place. Their hours are fabulous (they are open 7 days a week until 7 on weekday and 6 on weekends!), prices are great but most importantly the women their know what they are doing! My eyebrows had a v arc from going to other places but since coming here they have been fixed. I highly recommend that you try it once and see for yourself! It can be difficult to find but it is across the Tom Tom shopping area in the Lakewood building. I want to say that I really like this place. It's very low-key, affordable and usually quick service. I've been to Everest salon to get my eyebrows done fairly consistently over the past year. I usually go every 3-5 weeks. It's a toss-up to see how good your threader will be! Sometimes it is an older lady, sometimes a bored looking younger woman. I've had two very bad experiences here that have turned me away from the 8-10 other times that it has been good. One time, the younger girl was moving so quickly that she took out huge chunks of my eyebrow hair and a small piece of skin! It was awful, and she did not even apologize after I pointed it out. I started going on Wednesday nights because I found out one particularly lady works at that time, and she was fabulous the first time I saw her. Her threading was precise, light and pain-free! Not the case the second time around! I'm not sure what the cause is for the discrepancy of service, but I sure wish they would shape up! read more

I feel like I was at a different salon than the one listed in all of these five-star reviews... When I walked in, the girl completely ignored me for about two minutes, to the point that I wondered if I was in the right place. I finally asked, "Is this where you do threading...?" And she looked at me, got up, and started adjusting the seat. This was apparently meant to signify "yes." I very specifically told her I only wanted my eyebrows cleaned up - not thinned or shaped, just cleaned up where there were random hairs. She started threading, which hurt more than ever threading I've ever had - and I've had quite a few - and then when her colleague came in, they loudly spoke to each other in another language for about five minutes. After the most painful threading session of my life - I was crying - she told me she was finished, and I looked to see that she had shaped my eyebrows into thin uneven lines, totally undoing two months of growing out. I typically go to Wink in West Village but didn't feel like making the drive; I will never make that mistake again. They're $4 more and about 400 percent better. read more

I enjoy this place. My eyebrows were out of shape for a while and when I got a caricature of myself and the cartoonist highlighted my wacky eyebrows, I knew I needed help. This is the first place I've ever come to get my eyebrows done. I didn't particularly have anything in mind, just wanted them clean. The price was good and I enjoy this service being available. Only thing: others say "no pain" but when I get mine done, there's so much pain my eyes water with tears... And I have to force myself to not jerk away. I find it to be a lesson in being tough.
