I cannot say enough amazing things about Wink Threading Salon. Every single time I go, the experience is consistently amazing. She does such an incredible job every time, and I always leave feeling so happy with my eyebrows. What makes it even more special is that it has been the same woman every time, and she is truly so kind and welcoming. She makes me feel so comfortable during every appointment, which makes the whole experience even better. On top of that, she completely recovered my eyebrows after someone else had over-waxed them earlier, and I am so grateful. She really took the time to shape them perfectly and helped bring them back in a way that looked natural and flattering. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients, and that level of consistency is hard to find. For me, this is easily one of the best threading places in Dallas, if not the best. It took me months to grow my brows back, and this salon completely ruined them in minutes. The technician barely spoke, and the receptionist was just as unengaged. The rushed service left me with terrible brows, and now I have to go elsewhere to fix them. I'm beyond dissatisfied and would not recommend this place to anyone. Unbelievable. I called right before leaving my office to confirm their closing time and rushed over in a cab as quickly as possible. I arrived ten minutes before closing and the door was locked. The manager opened it and tried to turn me away, but I reminded him about our phone conversation. He then chastises me saying I should have come earlier because there were was ONE other person in queue which would cause the single beautician to work past the stated closing time. How is that my fault? How am I supposed to be able to predict or plan around who may or may not show up before me? That's not how walk-ins work. He reluctantly conceded and I got my brows done. The lady spent AT MOST two minutes on me. After I paid and walked out I checked the time. It was EXACTLY five minutes after their stated closing time. So that piss poor attitude and back and forth with a first time paying customer was because of five minutes. Was that really necessary, mister? read more

Three strikes I'm out. The last three times I've been here The business has been closed without any update to their website to their Google page first time I showed up within their hours that were listed on Google, which were different than what was listed on their door. The second time, they were temporarily closed but they didn't update their website or Google listing and the third time when they were supposed to be re-opened I called just to be sure and what do you know the phone number isn't working. No message to indicate that they are extending their closure. No update to their website you just have to drive there and hope they're open. Not wasting my time anymore. read more

Threading is precise and pain free. Not heavy handed as many places are. This is an Indian owned and run business so you know they do a fantastic job as threading is an Indian practice. BE WARNED - this establishment is inconsistent in quality. I have had good experiences (4 stars) and I just came away with a horrendous experience (1 star). There is no way to ctrl+ z what the lady did to my brow, so I am hopping on here to let everyone else know. I told the lady that she had to be careful when shaping my brow, and I held out hope that her doing the job in 5 minutes was a sign of efficiency. She didn't even notice the GAP IN MY EYEBROW until I pointed it out to her, and her solution was to try and cut away more hair. Like, what? You can see in the photo how it looks. I wish I could say "caveat emptor" and you get what you pay for, but I can't even say that at $12 for brows. I pay less in New York. read more

I was a walk-in during the middle of the day on a Friday. They saw me right away. I was in and out in 10-15 minutes. Their girls did a great job! Price was $12 for my eyebrows(I usually pay $10 at other locations in Dallas). But, I think that their quick service and easy location make up for the $2. they shapes my brows beautifully, trimmed the long hairs and offered to put cooling get in them afterwards. There is a parking garage/lot right beside them that makes getting in and out and on with your day a snap. Other perks to note, while I was in there, they had a few male customers too. So, they are ready to make anyone and everyone look amazing! The girl working the desk knew a few of the customers and knew which of the technicians they preferred to see. I came to Wink one week because I wasn't able to spend the money I usually do at my regular eyebrow place, and all the really cheap places are too far. It wasn't a bad experience by any means but I also don't know if I'll be back again. Firstly, $12 not including tip is not really too much in and of itself. But the lady who helped me sat me down, threaded my brows for actually about 30 seconds, and then let me know I was done and I was out the door. I will give them props for how quick it was for sure, but $12 for a hasty tweeze where she didn't even consider my brow/face shape or trim them a little is a bit much. Afterwards, it honesty just looked like I had tweezed a few stray hairs by myself. That would've been fine if they charged $5 but of course that's not the case. In the future, I will probably just wait until I can afford to go to my usual place instead trying out new cheaper places, and it will mainly be thanks to my experience here. read more

Wink is open for business. I was very curious how they were going to operate with the face covering rule. They somehow attach the thread that used to be put in the mouth is now on a device around their neck. I went in and they did awesome as usual. I felt very safe. They only allow two people waiting inside and I had to wait a few minutes outside. They are only offering eyebrows and foreheads. Nothing on the rest of the face that would require you to remove your mask. read more

I thought $12 was a little much. I usually pay $4 - $8 for my eyebrows, however, I was dissatisfied with the work they would do. I'd always end up with pimples or they would not shape my brows the way I want it. So, today, I decided to try something new. The reviews on here were great so I went. Very small and cute inside. They ONLY do threading. Well, I sat down and I told her "I want it a little thinner" (usually when I say this, they make it too thin or they don't shape my brows at all). She got to work. She's quite skilled -- whatever her technique is it is fast and less painful than others and neater! I was so amazed. It was the fastest threading session I've ever had and the best. She shaped my eyebrows just how I've always wanted it! Very pleased. With that speed and quality, it is surely worth the $12! :) As for the people who complain that their brows were too thin, I'm sorry. I wish you guys got the name of the threader (and I wish I got the name of mine) to make sure you don't get that one again and get the one I got! read more

I will NEVER go to this place again. After a couple trial and errors, I've since decided to cut this place off. I had an event that I needed to prepare for and the place I usually go to was closed. Not sure of the woman's name but she was older. My skin is pretty sensitive when it comes to threading, usually I leave with red eyebrows. Knowing it wouldn't lighten up throughout the day I didn't think anything of it. This morning I woke up and have two red patches just under my eyebrow from where the tread left minor cuts and irritation. So much for the event I was supposed to attend. Never again. I usually go somewhere else for eyebrows and I tend to be quite nervous going new places, but my eyebrows desperately needed a clean up. The other place I go to was closed on Saturdays after 5, so I looked this place up. The girl that did my eyebrows did a fantastic job. It hurt a little more than the other place (but maybe I was just more sensitive yesterday and to be fair I had over a months worth of clean up because I wanted to get them to thicken up again). It's a little more pricy (12 compared to 10) than the other place I go to in Dallas, but I was in an out (as a walk in) in less than 10 minutes with eyebrow perfection. So hey those 2 dollars are well worth it and the location is convenient. And they were busy, which means people trust them! :) read more

She went straight into doing my brows without even wiping any excess product from my brow so she can see where all the hair is. First and foremost shout out to the receptionist. She was helpful, courteous and friendly over the phone. After landing in Dallas for work, I yelped a few places and decided to give them a call. She gave me directions and fit me into their schedule. Once I got there she acknowledged speaking with me over the phone. Her customer skills were really good. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name but I would def return due to her service. She even was helping other customers that were new to the area find nearby business. Now for the eyebrows the service was quick and painless. I had a girl named Prit. She did an amazing job as I was way over due. She didn't speak much or pushed for me to get extra services done. Will definitely return to them. The establishment is very chic and modern looking. They're in a good shopping area. Parking is in the back lot and free. It was $12 for eyebrows. I love getting threaded but since moving to the uptown area I had been having trouble finding the time to make it out to the burbs to get it done at my old salon of choice. Then magically one day, Groupon read my mind and offered a deal for $5 threading at Wink so I stocked up with 5 of them (the max) and decided to give this place a shot since it is so close to me! The salon is very small so I could imagine it could get crowded but I have redeemed 3 out of my 5 Groupons and never had to wait. They usually have 2 super nice and friendly women doing the threading. They always ask my name and make sure I am satisfied with their work. The owner has been there a few times and was also very friendly and always chatted it up with me as I signed in. The "threaders" are very detail oriented and I have never left without feeling 100% happy with my newly tamed brows! I plan on returning to this place on a regular basis and paying full price ($12) when my Groupons run out! Thank you Wink for providing what I need so close to home!
