I was greeted like normal and asked to sit in a chair. The lady who I assumed was to do, my eyebrows came up to me, and I began to tell her what it was that I wanted done. She waved her hand at me motioning for me to put my head back on the headrest and I continued saying I just want them cleaned up little. Keep the same shape. She said nothing to me and immediately put her thread on my face. I sat back, didn't say anything and let her work. I knew what my eyebrows looked like before and how much needed to be taken off. So when I recognized that she was going higher and higher making my eyebrows thinner I asked her to stop to which she tried to tell me that it was fine and to let her keep going. It was clear she couldn't really understand me, which is frustrating. I have no prejudice against immigrants, but Jesus Christ if you're gonna work on someone's face at least understand what they're asking you to do. However, it was also clear that I was upset and not happy with the service. The owner came over who I recognized and has done my eyebrows every other time I've been in. She was extremely apologetic. She cleaned up my other eyebrow and then used me as an example for her employee. I did not sign up to be practiced on. Let me tell you that. I came in to have a licensed aesthetician thread my eyebrows. When I called back asking if I could get the name and license number of the woman , I was told that a license isn't required to thread eyebrows. That may be true, however, it told me that there is an employee working in a spa where facials massages shampoo conditions blowouts threading waxing are all performed, who is unlicensed. If you are training people at your salon who have less than 750 hours of training you need to let the client know. End of story. I now have 2 obviously different shapes on my face and am beyond embarrassed and enraged. Don't come here. It's not worth the inconsistency, it smells funny inside, it's outdated, everyone but the owner lacks in customer service skills and she's letting unlicensed people provide services.

Enter the grocery store and head straight to the back left past the food court! You'll see their sign and enter through a door. Roohi is a sweet, older, experienced cosmetologist who specialised in eyebrow threading that I would drive over 2 hours to make sure she was the only one who touched my brows! She took on an assistant and eventually sold her salon to her assistant, and this new owner is equally as talented and thorough in giving me exactly what I want. I absolutely adore coming here! There's a reason I recommend her to all my friends- who love her too. She's great! Love how I look, and $6 eyebrow threading price point is great too!! Tons of people come for facials and other services, I can't speak to that as I've never tried these services. My recommendation is to come here when you have some time- not the greatest place to go when you're in a rush. She doesn't do a rushed job at all, and there's usually a line of people waiting. You might be able to make an appointment if you call ahead. She is just one person offering all these services, but I did see she's taking on an assistant of her own so that might help with servicing more people quickly. In case you weren't sure what dermaplaning is - it's a technique where they take a tiny blade and scrape off all the baby hairs on your face. It's amazing and left my skin so soft and smooth. The other two stylists working did everything they could to remedy the situation!
