The short: I would rank them 3.5 stars. They do quality work and the polish seems to be more chip resin than most places. They are slightly more expensive with pedicures starting at $28 without paraffin. The music station is painful, think 1983. The chairs are fine and in working order and TVs are large enough. You won't get the warm and fuzzies from the lady at the front. (I assume she is the owner. The employees are pretty quiet but do speak to one another in Vietnamese during your services. They do suggest a variety of upgrades after you have made your service selections. I know some people that will only get their nails done here and others that refuse to return. I have visited this salon about twice a year over the last five years. read more

Go to Kay for a pedicure and Holly for Nexgen - I've been coming to this place for several years and they've always done an amazing job. Thi (Nexgen) and Jennifer (pedicure) are amazing, too! Kay remembers everything that I want, so I have absolutely no idea what pedicure I get because she just knows/does it for me - there's a candle involved - or if I'm sunburnt she gives me the aloe one! She gives an incredible massage and is one of the sweetest (yet a little sassy) women that I have ever met. She also makes sure to clean my feet even though I'm crazy ticklish - which I appreciate! (Beauty is pain ) Holly is super gentle with your manicure and does an amazing job getting the Nexgen super thin - she also does cool designs and will help you pick out the right color if you need help. I go to her with some vague, random idea for what I want and she delivers every time! My whole family comes here (mom, sister, dad, and sister's boyfriend) - we can't really go as a family, though, because we fight over who gets Holly, Kay, Thi, and Jennifer!! Extremely rude! I went in for a pedicure, it was me and one other person waiting to get attended, the lady that checks in walks over and starts attending the lady in front of me, scheduling her appointment, etc., as she was finishing up 2 other people walk in. When the lady in front of me was done and left, I started talking to tell her I also didn't have an appointment, but she cut me off (didn't let me finish my sentence) and said "excuse me, was she here first?" Pointing to the lady behind me, I said no, she ignored me and continued talking to the lady asking if she was here first and did she have an appointment, the lady said she did have an appointment but I (pointed to me) was here first. The worker then said "ok, well let me help you first, then I'll schedule her appointment." I just walked out after that. I guess money's not the same if either you don't have an appointment (appointment availability was within the hour) or you're a minority. But I would rather see this to ensure I don't spend a cent there anymore. read more

I think is important for you to know how bad this place is. Today I asked for the a design I was very specific I said I want exactly this and the lady in the front who didn't even took a good look said of course we can do it. We will do it with powder. I said use whatever you want I just want it to look like this. If you guys can't do it no worries I rather not to have anything done. No, no we can do it. I got something completely different horrible and not even well done. The technitian was nice but clearly doesn't know how to do it. The nails were way to short. ( I did tell her short. But not so much) It really is not ombre, the shape is wrong and it just looks awful. Have to say that this time the place did not over charged me. Like the first time that I took a picture of a design. That again the same person in the front told me that they can do it. Of course couldn't do it and instead of charging me 25.00 just for change of color I ended up paying over 50 for stupid little charges and I DID NOT EVEN GET WHAT I WANTED IT EITHER TIME.!!! This is so frustrating how your establishment lies to their customers. I gave you 2 tries and I am just going to put bad reviews all over and tell my neighborhood friends not to go there so sad. read more

I just came here tonight after looking at reviews for nail salons in the area and I was a little nervous about coming here but goodness I'm glad I came! I went in here with just an idea of what I wanted which was a manicure but longer nails yet without the next day or 2 nail pressure of acrylics. The lady who welcomes you which I'm assuming is the manager gave me a few suggestions and I chose nexgen manicure with a Murphy pedicure! I had jimmy for my nails and he was very thorough and didn't hurt me which I was so happy about! I have very sensitive skin so it's easy to cut me. The lady who did my toes really relieved the pain of what I assume was my nail digging into the sides of my toe! Very very thorough getting the excess skin. Her massage wasn't great but she was so sweet and did her best. They don't really talk to you so they can focus on their work (I assume) but I actually enjoy that, it shows their focused and doing their best.. the price was wonderful for the quality! Before I left the manager looked at my nails to see how they did and she personally pointed out 1 nail that wasn't as shiny as the rest, she took me back let jimmy know there was a problem, personally buffed out my nail then had a lady named Nancy finish fixing it! no extra charge! If anything happens within 1 week they fix it for free! So accommodating ! I'm very impressed to see a nail salon point out an error before I can! I came in around 5:30 and was out by 6:40! My self and my wife went to this location to get 2 pedicures. The staff was friendly, had a large selection of polishes. The store was very well kept and clean. There about 40 pedicure chairs, and all were occupied. We got the Murphy Massage and it was only $36 and included- nail trim, cuticle clean up, sugar scrub, 2 long massage session, steam wrap and hot stone session. The attention to detail on Calluses and shine on nails was awesome. The visit included free sodas, water, or white/red wine. The chairs were very comfortable and have several Massage options on them. Went because of reviews but that's my fault for listening. I don't get pedicures that often but I was once taken to a place that divined my feet.....this was not that place. The other place left my feet soft, pleased and pretty. Proud to show off my toes. This place left me pissed for paying more for a crappy job. My feet are not soft and they are still dry. The paint job is all over my skin on a few toes. My cuticles look choppy cut with skin edges. Just really really sucks to have had to pay for this. My only star is for the massage chair. I was in from out of town and got a text asking if I wanted to go get a mani/pedi with a few friends. I was a little concerned where we could all go and fit at the same time. Never fear, Azura Nail Spa is HUGE and can accommodate a crowd. It's quite possibly, one of the nicest salons I've ever visited. (There are a few "boutique" salons in Austin, buy in my experience, they all have copper pots vs. the foot bath. I'm not a fan of this as I usually end up with tepid water.) We were ushered to our seats (all together) and offered something to drink. I followed another friend's lead and got "the Murphy" pedi and got talked into my first ever gel manicure. They will try to upsell you on just about everything you do but I find that pretty standard these days and was able to say no to any further add ons. By far the busiest salon in town. Try to always RSVP. It seems like no matter who I get, I always get a good experience. It's a full service nail salon so there's lots of pampering to be had. Weekends are crazy here so I try to avoid that time. Love the drinks that's always offered and the vibe here. They have a small area at the entry way where you can buy beauty gadgets and make up, nick nacks. Have never been disappointed here so highly recommend! read more
