And the lady doing my toes was angry and slammed the nail polish down on the table when handing it off to the other lady. My daughter wanted just a cute starfish on each ring finger but got a 20 min "best try" from a nail tech and it honestly looks more like a toddler abstract doodle. Sad that I paid for this and sad that my daughter's nails look like this for her first time getting her nails done. We will not be coming back. It was clean and covid-friendly (everyone in masks, wearing gloves, and shields up between you and your nail tech). Prices are fair and there were a large variety of services offered for pedicures which is what I really needed. My technician Kim was very gentle on some problem cuticles (and eased a lot of pain in one of my toes I have been dying to get rid of) but also just the right amount of firm for my throbbing legs and feet (pregnancy legs lol) so I'll be asking for her by name in the future! I had to get my nails done for a wedding I needed to attend in Texas a few weeks back. I had tried…read moreto contact this place multiple times through their website for inquiry, but there were never responses from anyone on any of the days that I had inquired. Was quite disappointed with that and had to end up calling them during their business hours to get myself scheduled. I was hoping that since I needed to schedule an appointment, the service and the nails would turn out good as they wouldn't have to rush doing my nails. It was not as good as I thought it would be, which was disappointing. I went in on the day of my appointment that morning and was greeted. The ambiance in there was quiet and clean. They gave me the booklet to look at which color I wanted and sat me down. They asked me if I wanted a drink and they got me a drink in which I was not able to drink since they worked on me right away. Both my feet and my nails were done at the same time which I thought was interesting since I never really had that done before. It is usually done separately. I was not sure if it was because they just wanted to get me done as soon as possible or if it was because I was the first customer of the day. Initially when I got my manicure done, the guy who did my nails, did the flower designs with a highlighter color. Initially I did not think much of it, so I let him do what he was already doing with the design. When I left and showed my nails to my husband, he did not like the color and said the color looked like I was a kid getting a flower with a highlighter color. He told me to call them to go back and get it changed. We called them and initially, I had to go back later that evening to get it changed, but eventually, they were able to get me back in earlier to fix the issue. After the color was fixed, all was good. The manager did mention to me and my husband that normally they won't do that because if I did not like it, I should of said something, but in my defense, how would I have known that my husband would not like it and the color did make it look like I was a kid after carefully observing it. Other than that, it was fine. I appreciated that they fixed the issue even though they were not supposed to after I got the service. I went for the rest of the week doing my thing and when I was about to leave from Texas back to California, I noticed that my nails started to peel. The top layer of my left thumb, it started to peel. The flower design ended up coming off on my left thumb and even up till now, it is still peeling. Two weeks after I got my nails done, my left middle finger also started to peel and actually ended up cracking as well. Now, it has almost been a month and my pointer finger is now peeling as well. This has been the most disappointed I ever been with getting my nails done. I never had cracking and peeling of my nails when I got my nails done somewhere else. I really wanted to like this place, but it really just disappointed me and I honestly don't think I'll be coming back here if I ever come back to Texas. So very sad.
