I told the lady, her name was Candy, that it needed to be redone! I showed her on both hands that all of the nails were not right, she fixed them 3 times BUT it still was not right. Candy decided to try and gaslight me into believing that it was the light from above causing the effects on my nails. I eventually got frustrated and left before I was not nice anymore. I eventually called back after an hour and asked for a refund of my service. Dakota informed me they do not do refunds and if I wanted a refund it would go on a gift card and I'd have to come back in the salon for them to take off the polish and/or have someone fix them. I informed Dakota that I went to another place immediately after to get my nails fixed. Later on during the evening, my toes and my friend's toes started hurting. We chalked it up as they are just sore because it's been so long since our last pedicure. This morning all our toes are extremely red, sore, leaking puss, and hot to the touch. We just want our money back for the crap service we received and now infected toes. We loved this place but we will not be back.

My husband's little sister has come here a few times and has actually left in tears because of how she was treated. On one occasion, she overheard two of the younger girls working up front speaking negatively about her, which made her feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. What concerned me even more was her experience with one of the nail artists. After finishing her nails, the nail artist took her phone from her hand, opened Google, and told her to leave a five-star review. She then started writing the review herself. She ultimately did not post it because the situation made her very uncomfortable. She genuinely tried giving this place multiple chances because she liked the atmosphere, but unfortunately, she has been disappointed each time. No customer should leave an appointment feeling embarrassed, talked about, or pressured into leaving a positive review. I really hope management takes experiences like this seriously and works to make customers feel more respected and welcome.

They did an absolute horrible job doing a simple color change on my gel x nails. The nail tech tried to blame the shotty paint job on my nails, from trimming them down a centimeter. Lol Even though my nails were perfect after removing the prior color & trimming them down. If you know, you know - gel x nails are top tier- it's not molded nails like acrylic or dip powder-they go on perfect and remain perfect. They slapped on a blob of nail polish- instead of doing thin even coats. They offered to fix it for free- but if they can't do it right the first time I definitely don't want to waste my time sitting there for another 30+ minutes for the same result. I told them I did not want them to fix it & I would just like to leave. They refused to let me leave without paying-even though they offered to fix it for free. Charged 55$ for a color change ONLY. (Just removing polish and re-painting- no soaking the hands, no hand/arm massage-didn't offer me a drink-nothing else) DONT GO HERE!!!!! Drive a little further to iNails & Spa off 78 by dollar general. Wayyy better prices, BETTER service-done right the first time- & down to earth technicians. They can do everything & more!!! My dip was fine, except they did zero cleanup of my cuticles, etc. At my other place, that's included in the price. When I asked the manager, she said it was a $6 add on for cuticle care, or a $10-$15 add on for manicure. I've never heard of them being separated out and they didn't explain that on the descriptions I read prior to choosing. They also just kind of left me after completing the service. No one told me I was done or helped me get out of my chair and to the cashier. Manager saw me sitting and wondering what to do next and just walked away. It's just a shame that places have to upcharge for everything.
