Went back to Lady Nail (3 blocks from home) for a manicure - nail shaping, cuticle trimming - NO polish as I'm treating my nails at home; self trimming your cuticle is just difficult. Anyway, the place only had one other customer, and the woman that worked on me had been playing on her phone. She barely touched any shaping and I had to repeatedly point out bad cuticles. I actually gave up after a point. There was no 'hand massage', no nail smoothing, no lotion, no nothing. For this, I paid $22. Three days later I went somewhere else where they took their time and did a great job on the cuticles, shaping, nail smoothing, lotion, AND did a good looking gel manicure in cherry red. Cost? $25. Do not go to Lady Nail, there are far better places around.

He asked what color I wanted and if I wanted white, I thought he was joking so I laughed it off and said no...well I'll be got darned he tried to put white on my feet anyways, I told him I did not want white and m with an attitude he asked me well then what color do you want? I asked him to see a book and I just hurried and picked something so I could go. Do not recommend and I will never go back. I should not have tipped but I always tips base of 15% but I regret that.

I get there and when it comes to pay they tell me it is $70 if I pay through zelle because I got french tip. When I mentioned I was told $58, the lady told me that the guy didn't know I wanted french tip but if you're running a business you should also make it known you charge extra between one color versus french tip. Obviously less product is used so why in the world would I have to pay an EXTRA $12 for it ???? A private nail doesn't even charge extra for french tip. HIGHLY unsatisfied and the work they did wasn't even worth $70. To top it off, they started talking to each other and I was getting weird looks after.. says a lot about the people working there.

My dip was fine, except they did zero cleanup of my cuticles, etc. At my other place, that's included in the price. When I asked the manager, she said it was a $6 add on for cuticle care, or a $10-$15 add on for manicure. I've never heard of them being separated out and they didn't explain that on the descriptions I read prior to choosing. They also just kind of left me after completing the service. No one told me I was done or helped me get out of my chair and to the cashier. Manager saw me sitting and wondering what to do next and just walked away. It's just a shame that places have to upcharge for everything. I'll be going back to my place in Royse City that includes basic nail care in their dip service and who trains their staff to be helpful from beginning to end of service.
