Very disappointed. I never get my nails done, took my daughter to have a girls date before vacay- came here bc of the good reviews. Maybe no one does regular nail polish anymore and maybe this is why our result was so disappointing but we paid $90+ for just a reg. mani and pedi. They rushed through the painting process- bubbles and missed lines and missed cuticles- like obvious missed cuticles- bc I understand that nothing is perfect. And the lady doing my toes was angry and slammed the nail polish down on the table when handing it off to the other lady. Made me feel very uncomfortable and also nervous for the rest of the appointment, which proved to be true. My daughter wanted just a cute starfish on each ring finger but got a 20 min "best try" from a nail tech and it honestly looks more like a toddler abstract doodle. Sad that I paid for this and sad that my daughter's nails look like this for her first time getting her nails done. We will not be coming back. Guess we'll have to do more research on a better place next time. read more

I've been trying to find a quality nail salon closer to my apartment, and found NK Nails on Yelp! I stopped in today, no appointment, and asked for powder dip nails with chrome top coat. My nail tech was Lana, and she was great! The salon was clean and organized, with lots of nail color options. I liked that she didn't grind my nails too much before applying the dip powder. I needed a short, square round shape, and for the powder not to be too thick. I'm really happy with the result and will definitely be back! read more

I went to Dallas for a friends wedding and needed my nails freshly done. I was riding around and this was kinda close to our hotel. Here's my experience: They were very welcoming when I entered. They had paper menus which was great giving that Texas had high monkeypox and covid rates so that was good to know about disposables lol The staff were friendly and had nice genera conversation. Their color selection was ok as they were a newer salon and it was pretty decent. She did her best with my nails but they took a pretty lengthy amount of time and they did not have fans to dry them as gel seemed to be the only option. I am allergic to gel Uv rays as it causes radiation to the skin but that's another story for another day lol I just sat patiently until they dried and did not like them lol I also saw some staff offer "certain people" alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and I was not offered anything additional. I guess because I wasn't getting my finger nails done too? Not sure. But Nonetheless the experience was pretty decent and if you live in the area give them a try. read more

Horrible customer service and lousy owners $50 pedicure for 10 mins and crooked round toe nails with gel polish and to be treated like sh*t for not getting my nails done. All for the owner to ask me while massaging my legs and feel for a minute or two to ask me is that your BMW. I was like yea. And? He kept nodding off like he was on drugs or something and saying random stuff to other employees in his language clearly pissed off he couldn't price gouge me for getting my nails done by a tech I didn't even want. The one I asked for he said she has two more clients and is all booked up and was pissed off I wouldn't take just anyone to do my nails. He kept turning around like moving and being distracted- I almost got up and left wet feet and all after he took my polish off bc I was so uncomfortable. 2nd time I went and worst than first. I called ahead to request experienced tech for my pedicure appt. That is not what I got, the manager misled me. It was a new person, did not know how to operate tub, water was cold. It didn't seem like he understood English, I had to guide him on things that still needed to be done. Several times was painful. I felt bad for him, the manager could have cared less. My impression of this salon is that what they care about most is the money they get and not developing a relationship for repeat customers. read more

I used to love this place but this was just messy. I came in 2 weeks ago and got gel color done and picked the exact same color on my fingers this time. She ended up mixing the color with clear so now it doesn't match my toes. Also the dip powder was left all over my fingers? So now I have to go home and file it off after paying almost $50 for half way nails. Also she cut my nails down so much shorter than they needed to be. They are natural and were long. I enjoyed this place. I stopped on a whim and even though it was busy I was able to get inside and in a pedicure chair right away. The prices are on par with other places, but I would say a better value or more worth it because they did a really good job. The pedicure I got was the midrange probably at $48. I almost did one higher but it included a neck and shoulder rub with warm towel and I was hot that day so I opted out. They do offer you water or cocktails. One thing I noticed, however, is most places they provide cocktails they are charging more because of the cocktail and the pedicure is pretty sub-par and really only worth about $30. This place provided, i feel, a $48 value pedicure and then as a bonus you could have a drink. If I want a drink I go to a bar, and when I go to the salon I want a great pedicure and they can deliver both. The lady did a good job shaping the nails and working on any ingrown toenails etc. The foot scrub was thorough and the massage was nice and firm. It didn't feel as though they were just going through the motions, but instead they put effort into doing a good quality job. It was relaxing, enjoyable, and they spoke to you friendly. The manager (I assumed) also came around to check how everyone was doing. I will go back. read more
