I absolutely love Champions Nail Bar in Rowlett! Cindy has been my go-to for pedicures for over six years, and I will never change. She is incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and always so sweet. My pedicures are consistently perfect every single time. I also had Thi for the head spa treatment, and WOW -- it completely blew my mind! It was beyond amazing and so relaxing. I personally wouldn't recommend this place. At think for starters, in this day and age is common courtesy & simply respect to not consistently speak a foreign in language in front of your clients. if it's something personal you need to get off your chest, talk about it with your co workers after work or during break but to continue to do it in front of someone who does not speak the same language is flat out rude & feels uncomfortable which throws the whole relaxation vibe off. Second, she didn't paint the polish to cover my whole toe nail. so quality was not up to average standards of what you'd expect when going in to get a $50+ pedicure. I just got them done today and have the pictures of results attached. Feel free to create your own opinion. As far as mine, I would not recommend this place. Plenty down the street you very well may have better luck with. All in all, the bigger the salon does not guarantee better quality. read more

My sister goes here, I tried on a whim and while it's really nice inside, definitely had an infection after my pedicure that took weeks to settle down. Think the lady who did my pedicure was too rough and took too much skin off which cause my feet to be wide open for any sort of thing to get in it to cause the infection. Oh well. read more

Got a new set on Saturday ( so 5 days ago ) , immediately the corners started cracking.. and then went to push a button and a nail came off.. then went to put my shoe on and another nail came off. I came in to explain and get my nails fixed. The guy at the front seemed very annoyed and then sat me down in a chair where I waited 30+ minutes and then the nail tech came over and was even more annoyed. I came in and asked if they were able to do my inspo picture and they confidently said yes i also asked if they did soak offs since i had a previous set from their other location the lady at the front said yes as well. while getting my nails removed the guy just basically ripped them off with a piece of nail which resulted in making one of them bleed he then proceeds to file my nails resulting to making me bleed once again he looked at it and wiped it off and didn't even apologize. he then started applying the acrylic which was too thick and he asked if i wanted it thinner and i said yes please he didn't even fix them then when it came to the design he was struggling he couldn't make the flower nor the french tips when i asked if he can fix them he just sighed and did it so sloppy . when it came to the cracked design he just did dots at this point i was already upset but trying to trust the process but i couldn't i got frustrated and asked to just make the rest french tips which he couldn't even do cause i asked if he could atleast make them look alike but each nail has different arches . i think what upsetted me more was the fact that during check out 3 people looked at my nails to figure out the pricing and they looked at them closely and still charged me 90 i just wanted to leave so i paid and left but as im driving home i just couldn't accept the fact that i paid 90 dollars for this so i decided to call and explain to them how i didn't like them and right when i told him he was like "ohhh yeah..." as if he already knew . my nails have never and i mean never hurt this much before i can't even slightly tap them nor properly wash my hands cause they burn from all the cuts update: the day before coming the guy on the phone told me i can get both refund and my nails redone. when i got to the salon i explained that to the manager and he said it's either the refund or getting my nails redone. i had no issue having to choose between them i just wanted the refund cause the last thing i wanted was for them to mess with my nails again, i really wished this whole interaction could've been just done quickly but the manager kept on insisting for me to get my nails done after repeatedly telling him i just want the refund after some time he finally said okay and it took him nearly 20 minutes to finally give me my money back i get it it was busy but it all could've been done earlier if it wasn't for him pushing into making me get them redone instead. he also did admit that the nails look bad , what really did it for me was him asking me to remove my review after finally getting my refund. i genuinely couldn't believe he actually had the audacity to even ask me that i laughed and just left and went to the champions nail bar off in northwest which is worth the 30 mins drive, i wouldn't even recommend the location on rowlett to my worst enemy. read more

Please do not take your business here. They are rude, inconsiderate, and do not care about you as a patron. 1) front desk had no customer service. No acknowledgment towards me when I entered. (they want you to fill out a form to request services when you first enter but a 1st time guest will have no idea about that). 2) the lady who did my pedicure "Lyla" made crude statements about my toe nails. Will not go into detail about that. She is there to help me NOT make "fun" of my nails. 3) After my services. I stood at the front desk waiting to pay & check out for SEVERAL minutes. Honestly I could have walked out and not swiped my card. Till one lady worker (who had been lurking around the front desk asked how she could help me). Mind you, at 2 other lady workers came around the front desk before her. I will say the pedicure itself was nice but the customer service was atrocious. Take your money else where. I've been here before. Mixed reviews each time. It really depends on who does your services. But today my experience was so bad I don't plan to come back. There are lots of other options in the area. I got a mani/pedi. The manii was rushed, not relaxing at all & I was left with a sticky residue and abrasive scrub salts on my arms despite being wiped down with a clean towel. It wasn't finished with lotion either. I had to ask for another towel and I was still sticky after that. Went home to wash up. I also had to contort myself to one side during the pedicure despite the place being super empty and having room for the attendant to move to the other side as they've done here even when all chair were full. Add to that the nails on one side are crooked/slanted...cause that's what happens when you don't do nails from straight on. SO irritating! The massage chair was broken. This is part of why I stopped in today, I wanted a nice chair massage. Oh well! Correction, it powered on and massaged...it just didn't move up and down...so it only was only the top back of my head that got massaged. I asked if they could make it move. They turned it off instead. I asked if I could move to another chair. They acted like they didn't hear/understand me. So much for relaxation. My frustration built the whole time I was there. ‍ The poor pedicure guy could tell I was irritated and I felt like he gave a longer massage since he knew I was frustrated. His massage was the highlight of what felt like a wasted hour of my time. I cancelled my waxing because they tried to do it at the chair from just one side...like I want lopsided eyebrows. Overall I had a really good first experience here. I was a walk in appointment and my technician was Dina. She was very good. I had gel nails from a different salon and I do find that it's hard to get gel nail polish off. But Dina was gentle and we were able to get it off. but for the new mani we went with a dip powder. I really loved the color and think it will be pretty for the beginning of summer. I also got the Champion manicure with dip powder and it was really really nice - Dina is a great tech and I will be back. read more

I LOVE coming here. I am always greeted in a friendly manner. If they are busy I can see that they are, and they still say "I'll be right with you." Lieu (pronounced Lue) is THE BEST. GOAT!!! Came on Father's Day (Sunday) afternoon, got the tropical pedicure Pros: Was immediately seated. HUGE store and lots of techs. They have what looks like a full bar. I was given a slushee drink right after sitting down (it didn't taste like it had alcohol & I asked she said a little bit, but I didn't keep drinking it just in case bc I'm pregnant). The tech was nice. They gave me a plastic sac to take my shoes home in. Cons: Felt like the tech phoned it in with the hot towels and hot stone massage. Upon inspecting my toes closer, it's not the quality of paint job I expect at a salon. While checking out I noticed a sign about fixing nails; it said that you have a week to get it fixed & you have to present a receipt, although no receipt was given to me at checkout. One person came while I was checking out and had to ask for one.) Overall: I definitely didn't have a horrible experience here, but I'll go to another place before I come back here. read more

As someone local to Rowlett who has gotten their nails done at least once a month for 15 years I will say that this place is terrible. I used to go there a lot when they first opened and never understood why my nexgens only lasted 10 days at most. They claimed that because I was a bartender the chemicals wore them down. I have been going to a smaller salon for the past year and have my nexgen nails last at least 2 weeks. My normal salon was closed due to vacations since they're small and I went back to Champions. My nails did not even last a week. They use NO PRIMER for the nexgens so it guarantees the nails last less than two week. It's a tactic. Very disappointed because the nails were gorgeous but I am no longer a bartender and I noticed they do not use a primer so it makes sense they didn't last a week. So.. to summarize.. if you want to go EVERY WEEK to get a touch up this is the place for you but if you want your moneys worth then I suggest going elsewhere. Where quality means more than your $$z read more

I'm a very picky person when it comes to my nails...lieu was super awesome!! Everything from my nail shape (almond) to the thin natural nail look and ombré dip was on point!! Tried this nail salon and it just isn't great. Nails are breaking after a few days. They did fix 2 of the nails but that's not the point. Pricing is $50-$60 for basic dip and nail shape. They shouldn't break that easily! I'm not sure if it's cheaper materials they are using or they are slacking with something. Either way it's a hard pass with a side of no thank you for me. Very upset.. I accidentally broke 2 nails over the weekend & came back to get the fixed. When I got here, the hostess asked me who did my nails, I told him Choi (who is AMAZING btw!) and I asked him if he was here today, he said yes. I sat down & got a pedicure while I waited for Choi to finish with his customer & a girl named Tammy sat down & started fixing my nails. She was rushing the entire time! One of my nails was super crooked & I had asked her to please take it off & put it on again right. She asked me why & I showed her it was crooked. Mind you, she had just glued on the tips, so it was very early on when I said this. She proceeded to start filing the crooked tip & dipping my nails in the powder after I asked her to take it off. So I took my hand away from hers & told her to please take it off & that I'd wait for Choi. I told her she was rushing & not taking her time at all. She then got up & went to the front to tell everyone what happened & another girl comes up & says Choi can't do my nails because he is booked today (after the hostess had told me when I walked in he was here today, never mentioned he was booked or couldn't fix my nails). So I asked the girl if she could please take off the tips Tammy had just put on & that I'd come back another day for Choi. She then came to take them off & spilled nail polish remover on my pants & chair I was sitting on. She apologized & went back to the front. Not sure what all was said but I had nearly all the techs walk back to see my nails. Oh & get this y'all they saw me typing this long ass review & talked to Choi.
