Last couple times I've been in there have been flies which are unsanitary and annoying. Even when asked they will not use any pressure so you're getting a very light rub not a massage - while they totally ignore you and stare out the window. They only did 2 coats on my nails so they are not smooth. After 15 minutes waiting I figured out they had no intention of removing the toe spacers and helping put my sandals on. My Lash Tech is Helen, she overbooked I had an appointment at 3:00 PM and I was not seen until 3:20 PM and Helen sent me to another Lash Tech in her Salon that I knew nothing about. I have gone from getting a pedicure every two weeks to now every week...this place is my favorite getaway on Friday or Saturday. My Nail Artist is "Jenny" anis amazing!!!! She know how i like my toenails shaped, she knows the exact temperature of the water that i like, she knows the exact pressure for my calves...she is AMAZING!!!! We are new to the are and my daughter (9) and myself walked in, the prices looked reasonable on the website. Once we got there the prices were different (higher) but we were already there and didn't mind paying the extra. My daughter and I wanted a mani and pedi and the lady in change kept trying to upsell and tell me she was old enough for an adult many pedi, we declined since she is still young but kept insisting. Once sitting we noticed there were multiple flies, I found it odd since you don't really see them at nail salons. I'm very picky on making sure they use sanitized materials and they did until it came to the foot file, not sure if they are supposed to sanitize it but I didn't say anything, she made a cut that got infected and hurts, guess it was full of germs. I have been a customer at River Nails & Spa for several years. I scheduled a lash appointment with Jenny at 6 in the evening. Waited for over 30 minutes until I eventually asked an employee to confirm how much longer the wait would be. Long story short, Jenny took another customer at 6 who did not have an appointment. They refused to service me even though it was their mistake. I will never do business there again. Will spend my money where loyal customers are appreciated. This was my first visit since the shelter in place order. The salon was very beautiful and clean. I went in for a pedicure and dip nails. They require a temp check before being seated, and I was totally okay with that. Every client is spaced out every other chair. I was seated very quickly after choosing my colors, and the chairs give wonderful massages. I got the signature pedicure which includes "Aromatic foot soak, natural nail care that includes reshaping nails, cuticle details, buffing, intensive callus, sugar scrub, aromatic mask, hot towel wrap and volcanic hot stone with candle oil massage, and your choice of nail polish. She brought me to the back, put on 4 eyelashes then made me leave because I didn't have an appointment...? I then made an appointment for the next day. I went for my appointment and they said they don't have me down and that they could fit me in 4 hours. What's the point of making an appointment if you don't HOLD the appointment? This used to be my favorite place to do my nails. They always did such an amazing job and the owner was so nice. I even went here to do my nails before my wedding and they were amazing! But in recent visits, I have been less than satisfied. They haven't done a good job of cleaning up or painting the nails smoothly and my visit today was the last straw. I went in today wanting a manicure with a simple design. It was just supposed to be matte with abstract lines. I had one lady doing my mani and another doing my feet. They spent the majority of the time talking and pointing at me and the colors I had picked. When it came time to painting my fingernails the lady left and the one who was doing my pedicure took over. She called over two others and they all started chatting around me. I showed them the picture and again explained it didn't have to be exact. It started off okay but the lines were too thick or thin in places and clumpy. All the ladies in the store kept coming by saying "wow" and "perfect" as if trying to convince me that it was good. I kept trying to help or tell her what to fix but she didn't fix any of it. And then when she asked if I was sure I wanted it matte she told me, "no no no, shiny is good, matte ugly." She quickly painted it matte. Once it dried you could see so many spots that were still shiny and hadn't been painted. I got tired of asking it to be fixed and was ready to go. I had planned to keep my mouth shut and just fix it at home but then at the counter they told me the extra charge for the design. So I showed them my nails and all the spots where it was messed up and they said "uh-oh" and told me I could come back tomorrow morning. They were still open for another 40 minutes but they were ready to get me out the door. I told them I have work and couldn't not come back and that I would fix it myself. They didn't not give me any response to that and finally took off the charge for the design. All-in-all I have been very unhappy with the service in recent months. I kept going because this had been my favorite place but today was it. I don't think I will be going back. read more

When trying new places go wrong This place is very nice inside and the people are poliite but service isn't all that. My water was cold and had to tell them to make it hotter twice. She asked if I wanted a cut down and cut my toe nails all the way down. The dust from filing my nails is in the crease between the nail and skin. The mask lotion was not wiped completely off. Also I got dip on my original nails . My cuticles were not cut on one hand but on the other . Around the nail Is a mess too . I will not return nor would I recommend this place .. read more

First of all they need to update their website cause their prices are higher than what's posted on the website, second I asked for a signature pedicure, the lady did not do any calluses or heel treatment for me which I clearly needed and the description of the pedicure included, when I asked her she said she'll do it for me but next time I have to ask for it, she then used the rock on my heels for 30 seconds and wrapped things up, my heels looked exactly the same, I am never going back ! read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been 2 times now for pedicures and they have been amazing. Michelle is who did my pedicures and she takes her time and is very thorough, and never rough. I feel totally pampered and relaxed the whole time I'm there. They offer free beverages, and the massage chairs are really comfortable with a lot of different settings to choose from. It's always moderately busy, but I usually make an appointment so I have a set time. The prices are very fair, and I don't feel rushed at all. Give this place a try! read more

It was my first time into this nail place. We usually go somewhere else but our usual place changed hours and are now closed on Sundays. It was 3pm on Sunday and only 1 other guest walked in right before us. After we were settled for our pedicures, more people started coming in but everyone was social distant from others. I'm afraid if it got any busier, I would be hard to manage because quite a few ladies came in around 3:30 at the same time, not all as 1 group. A few of the ladies had to wait because there wasn't enough techs to go around. The water in the pedicure tub could be warmer. It was pretty cool. Which I have seen a few people state that on yelp and in person while I was there. The tech did a good job on my nails, just wish the massage lasted a little longer, he sped through it. For the price, my usual place has a better value. I might consider just making more time in my schedule to fit my usual places new hours. I did like how this place was clean. Disinfectant wipes visible, however in the hour I was there, I did not see one tech get any out. All staff wore masks in public area. read more

Unfortunately, my set of dip nails did not deserve such praise. My nail tech was so sweet and so quick, but maybe quickness isn't always the best. The work was sloppy and they ended up way too thick. My nails chipped within a week, and where I usually get my dip nails done it's lasted up to 4 weeks without a single chip! i went here twice, the first time was amazing and it left me feeling great! also, the second time i came, even though i had an appointment i had to wait an hour to get my nails done. even though the wait was long, i couldn't be too upset since i understand that business can get full. also for reference ill show pictures of the both sets i got. both of my nail sets had some problems with texture and it threw me off a bit. also the current set i got from here had discoloration on my nails and it just overall didn't look good. also, the woman who did my nails left me cuts all over the cuticle and nail area that left me in pain. i won't be coming here again, i really tried to give them a chance but it didn't work out. :( read more

Stopped by with only a limited time amount and thought hmmm if I don't have to wait then maybe they can get me in and out. Went in, was greeted by a super nice woman that might have been owner. Was asked to wait 15 min, was skeptical but waited anyways because the place was so nice and clean and very attractive. Within 10 min they had my nails wrapped and a woman named Ana was servicing me. Went here to get short acrylic stiletto nails, even came in with a reference picture so the tech could know exactly what I wanted. My nails came out lopsided and I kept telling the tech throughout the process, and she kept telling me it was okay, she'd just fix it later. Then she called another tech over named Helen who mocked me and told me to file my own nails since I didn't like the way they were being done. NEVER have I been to a salon where I've been so disrespected.
