So I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was single handily the worst experience I've had trying to get my eyebrows done. I was so excited when making my appointment. I wanted to do something special for myself for my birthday. I read reviews and picked this establishment after seeing people rave about Doe. I initially made my appointment with her for a lash lift and brow wax. They recommended I come in a few days before my appointment to have a patch test done for the products used during the lash lift, no problem. When I came for the patch test I met Doe and Ginger, another esthetician. Doe gave me a run down of what the process would be so I felt informed. But then said she wanted me to have my service done by Ginger. I wasn't really comfortable with changing my appointment since I came for Doe. Nonetheless I agreed because I believed that if Doe was a good as everyone said I trusted her professional opinion. The day of I show up a few minutes early because I like to be on time and waited in the cute lobby area. Ginger began texting me telling me she was running late. She was a hot mess. So she text me saying she was on her way after the scheduled appointment time. I don't believe she showed up till 15-20 minutes after. I was a little irritated because for a business that will charge you for missing an appointment, I expected some sense of punctuality. None the less we continued. She started with the lashes. She had difficulty placing the guard on both my bottom lashes and on my top lid. It took many tries. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time. At some point she left me there to help customers that had come in for an appointment late and Doe wasn't there, she had left to run an errand. So I lay there not supposed to open my eyes waiting. Lashes were done and she showed me. I loved the results but once I left noticed that lashes towards the inner corner hadn't been processed correctly and were now permanently at a weird angle pointing at my eye. She showed me in the mirror what she was envisioning for my lashes. Just clean up and bring out the natural shape. I was so happy because I felt that she understood what I wanted and that we had good communication. About 2 wax strips into it everything seems normal. She starts cleaning up with tweezers. We have polite conversation. At some point I realize she's been tweezing for a while but assume she's meticulous so I don't mind. My eyebrow is a little sore but she's the expert. The she tells me "Yea I almost never do eyebrows" And my stomach drops. She tells me to look because she's done with one brow. She hands me the mirror and I sit up. I was honestly horrified. The after pictures don't do it justice because the comparison of one eyebrow terribly over plucked and the other eyebrow untouched and natural. Y'all I was shaken. I've had my eyebrows done for 7$ at the nail shop and they never did me wrong like that. And Ginger was just so proud of my one butchered eyebrow. Doe asks if she's almost done because we'd been in there for a hot minute. Then I learn we've been in there for 2 1/2 HOURS. She then rushes through my second eyebrow. And I look one more time before paying out. It wasn't as bad since now they were both half the size they should be. And I've never cried over something like eyebrows. But when I got in the car I literally sat there and cried. I just wanted to feel pretty for my birthday. She completely tried to remove the top arch of my eyebrows.And my eyebrow tails consisted of 5 hairs It took probably a month and a half for them to grow in again normally. I hated them so much I wouldn't go natural bare faced in public. I couldn't leave without filling my eyebrows. And then she gave me gift certificates to pass out to my friends.. Also location was a little hard to find. I pray y'all have better luck. I like to think this was a one time thing if so many other people have had good experiences. read more

The esthetician( the owner)asked me what I wanted then based off my response she showed me which hairs she would remove. Came in this charming hidden gem and got my brows and my side burns waxed. The service I got from Doan was very professional. The wax she use was nothing that I experience before. Gel-like wax that is warm and soft that dries tacky for a seamless pull. It was quick, painless and not messy at all. Super eco-friendly. I went for Mackenzie, however Doe ended up doing my lash lift and I LOVED her and the results. The spa was so pretty, and it was a very relaxing experience. She suggested that I get my brows tinted. I was super nervous and she talked me through the process and I told her exactly what I wanted--not too dark for my first time.
