Boy do I live when quality and speed go hand in hand! I was in and out in under 30 minutes for my first sugaring appointment. That included first-visit paperwork and quality service. Laine was quick, thorough and friendly. The salon offers comfortable seating both inside and out and lots of things to look at while you wait, should you need to. They sell an assortment of cosmetics. Maybe next time I'll come early just to browse. Will be coming back for sure read more

Got a brow lamination that comes with a future complimentary keratin treatment to keep your brows moisturized. I also got an underarm wax. I like being able to make an appointment via text. They are very communicative and get you taken care of quickly. The spot is right past the square in downtown Rockwall. It'll be on your right in a small house. Parking in the rear. Would recommend for sure. read more

I've been coming for eyebrow waxes and decided to give a facial a whirl. Just finished a phenomenal custom facial with Sarah! Cannot say enough about how relaxing this experience was. She is extremely talented and I left feeling like a brand new woman! Will definitely be rebooking with her. read more

Unfortunately the girls here are sweet but very young, and their inexperience shows. I had a very short-lived tan last year due to bad aftercare instructions from Alicia. I came again to get a lash lift & tint because of all the great reviews, but I got by Riley, who had only been in the beauty industry for less than 1 year...I wish I had known that before my lashes & eyeballs were soaking in chemicals! Not only was it a painful unprofessional experience, but they turned out horrendous and I am just now, over a month later, able to stand them. I wanted to love this cute place but they need to up their staff's knowledge & overall professionalism. read more

I loved my experience at Bashful Beaty! As most women have I have gotten my brows done at my local nail salon out of per convenience. After my last experience at the nail salon I was terrified to get them done anywhere. Bashful beauty is fair in price and I really adored the esthetician who truly listened to the things I was hoping for. Great attention to detail, clean place, and relaxing atmosphere! read more

The services ruined my skin for months afterwards. Brazillian Wax. Cancelled Membership that they con you into in the first place and instead of canceling they froze it and have been now charging me for months with no resolution except we'll cancel it now. Money grab and ruined skin. read more

Taylor is great! She is super nice, knowledgeable and personable. She made my experience comfortable and fast. They also have plenty of great products to test including body oils, exfoliating creams and all things related to beauty and self care. You will leave glowing after a session. So I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was single handily the worst experience I've had trying to get my eyebrows done. I was so excited when making my appointment. I wanted to do something special for myself for my birthday. I read reviews and picked this establishment after seeing people rave about Doe. I initially made my appointment with her for a lash lift and brow wax. They recommended I come in a few days before my appointment to have a patch test done for the products used during the lash lift, no problem. When I came for the patch test I met Doe and Ginger, another esthetician. Doe gave me a run down of what the process would be so I felt informed. But then said she wanted me to have my service done by Ginger. I wasn't really comfortable with changing my appointment since I came for Doe. Nonetheless I agreed because I believed that if Doe was a good as everyone said I trusted her professional opinion. The day of I show up a few minutes early because I like to be on time and waited in the cute lobby area. Ginger began texting me telling me she was running late. She was a hot mess. So she text me saying she was on her way after the scheduled appointment time. I don't believe she showed up till 15-20 minutes after. I was a little irritated because for a business that will charge you for missing an appointment, I expected some sense of punctuality. None the less we continued. She started with the lashes. She had difficulty placing the guard on both my bottom lashes and on my top lid. It took many tries. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time. At some point she left me there to help customers that had come in for an appointment late and Doe wasn't there, she had left to run an errand. So I lay there not supposed to open my eyes waiting. Lashes were done and she showed me. I loved the results but once I left noticed that lashes towards the inner corner hadn't been processed correctly and were now permanently at a weird angle pointing at my eye. She showed me in the mirror what she was envisioning for my lashes. Just clean up and bring out the natural shape. I was so happy because I felt that she understood what I wanted and that we had good communication. About 2 wax strips into it everything seems normal. She starts cleaning up with tweezers. We have polite conversation. At some point I realize she's been tweezing for a while but assume she's meticulous so I don't mind. My eyebrow is a little sore but she's the expert. The she tells me "Yea I almost never do eyebrows" And my stomach drops. She tells me to look because she's done with one brow. She hands me the mirror and I sit up. I was honestly horrified. The after pictures don't do it justice because the comparison of one eyebrow terribly over plucked and the other eyebrow untouched and natural. Y'all I was shaken. I've had my eyebrows done for 7$ at the nail shop and they never did me wrong like that. And Ginger was just so proud of my one butchered eyebrow. Doe asks if she's almost done because we'd been in there for a hot minute. Then I learn we've been in there for 2 1/2 HOURS. She then rushes through my second eyebrow. And I look one more time before paying out. It wasn't as bad since now they were both half the size they should be. And I've never cried over something like eyebrows. But when I got in the car I literally sat there and cried. I just wanted to feel pretty for my birthday. She completely tried to remove the top arch of my eyebrows. And my eyebrow tails consisted of 5 hairs It took probably a month and a half for them to grow in again normally. I hated them so much I wouldn't go natural bare faced in public. I couldn't leave without filling my eyebrows. And then she gave me gift certificates to pass out to my friends.. Also location was a little hard to find. I pray y'all have better luck. I like to think this was a one time thing if so many other people have had good experiences. read more

My eyebrows were quite bushy but after going to Bashful Beauty they looked sharp and full. The esthetician( the owner)asked me what I wanted then based off my response she showed me which hairs she would remove. What I especially liked is that when she finished an eyebrow she commented on how well she liked it which then reassured me. She takes pride in her work and this is not just another random job for her but something she really enjoys doing! Furthermore, the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because when she was plucking the small hairs she pinched below my eyebrows a couple of times and now I have a large painful bump below my eyebrow read more

I came here a few weeks ago, on a Sunday, and the staff was super friendly, it was clean, and just a great vibe overall. Tayler was my aesthetician and she was hands down amazing! Made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend Bashful and Tayler. read more

I found out about Doan at Bashful Beauty through my friend Melissa's Instagram post. She had her eyelashes lifted and tinted and they looked amazing. I, being the social network stalker I am, started following Bashful Beauty on Instagram and saw all the great results people were getting and I knew I had to try it. So I set up an appointment for lash lift and tint and a brow wax. I will echo what another reviewer said- you can absolutely tell that Doan is very passionate about what she does and she's very good at it! On top of that, she's just the sweetest person ever and will make you feel very welcomed. I like that she asks you what you want your brows to look lime and that she tells you what she's doing every step along the way. She makes sure you are comfortable and that you know what's happening and why. Super bonus- I brought my 1 month old, who for the most part stayed happy, but when he did cry- Doan pulled out a bottle and fed him for me. I mean, that's pretty amazing service! After we did the wax, she asked if she could tint my brows and I'm so glad she did because they look phenomenal! That's just another way she shares her passion- I didn't feel like she was trying to upsell me on that, just suggesting what she thought might make my result even better. She was totally right! Love it and I definitely will be recommending to all my friends! read more

Laine was great! Friendly, efficient and professional! She did an excellent job! I'll definitely be returning!

Came in this charming hidden gem and got my brows and my side burns waxed. The service I got from Doan was very professional. The wax she use was nothing that I experience before. Gel-like wax that is warm and soft that dries tacky for a seamless pull. It was quick, painless and not messy at all. Super eco-friendly. And the waxing table was so comfortable, lined with soft memory foam. The space has this shabby chic feel and offers other skin care services. She still a couple weeks in setting up shop so I will definitely come back to see the progress and get a touch up. read more

Love my lash lift by Jeanette (I think her name was). First last lift and very happy with it

Grace grace grace!! She's phenomenal, she has been doing my facials, Brazilians to eyebrow shape and tinting for almost a year now! Each service, whether it be 20 minutes to an hour she's always meticulous and does the absolute best job!! I cannot recommend her or bashful beauty in its entirety enough! I've even had Doe and Jeanette do my Brazilians, both amazing as well! I've struggled with acne ever since COVID from all the mask wearing and because of Grace my skin is much more clear. She has taken the time to talk to me about each product and it's benefits while using them during my facial, she's checks in with me after my facials to see how my skin is doing. Because of bashful beauty and their extraordinary service, I have found a great friend and great esthetician! If you're thinking of booking, just do it! read more

I have been going to Bashful Beauty a few times a month for over a year now. The renovated old home in downtown Rockwall is adorably decorated and is located a block north of the Square with ample parking of their own in the back. Doe and her team do fantastic work. I stopped getting lash extensions in November and my lashes looked pitiful. I started using a lash boost and within a few months my lashes were long but crazy. I went to Bashful Beauty to get a lash lift and tint. Lauren explained the procedure well and it was so easy. I love my lashes now! They look phenomenal. I will definitely go back in a few months for my touch up. read more

First off, Bashful Beauty has the prettiest decoration and the best price in the area! Don't bother looking anywhere else. I waxed my legs for the first time with Ginger. I drove about 45 min from my town to get here because I had seen this place get amazing reviews. Now I know why!! I went for Mackenzie, however Doe ended up doing my lash lift and I LOVED her and the results. The spa was so pretty, and it was a very relaxing experience. It was very quiet (except for music of course) and it went by pretty fast. I felt comfortable and it was essentially painless. I'll be back next month for a facial and I went ahead and booked to get my lashes lifted again in 2 months. Highly recommend! read more

Bashful Beauty does it again! Tayler did an excellent job on my Brazilian and eyebrow wax/tint. She gave me the perfect tint and shape on my brows, and my Brazilian was precise and painless. I came all the way down for north east Texas to get waxed by Mackenzie and I was not disappointed I drove over an hour to do so. This was my first time getting waxed here. Mackenzie was very friendly, professional, patient and took her time. during the process I made sure to thank her for not rushing the service and for her taking her time to make it a very clean wax. Makenzie made sure that the wax didn't pull on my skin or wasn't to hot. She left me with one of the cleanest wax I have ever had for the bikini area!! I will definitely be a returning customer. Doe is amazing she made me feel comfortable for my first time wax! I will continue to come here!

The place is like a charming bungalow. Very old but made to look hip. It has a comfortable yet sophisticated vibe. Ashlen was my aesthetician. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel at home. She did a thorough facial and lifted and tinted my eyelashes. I love this place! Seriously. Camille has been my saving grace in helping get my skin corrected. She is knowledgeable and always knows what my skin needs. She recommends products but is never pushy. I am so pleased I found this place, and of course the amazingly talented and skilled, Doan. I came in yesterday for a full leg and bikini wax. I was nervous being 35 weeks pregnant, and having a friend (who is a nurse) advise me not to go through with it due to increased sensitivity and possible bruising/swelling it may cause. Well, I went anyway and sooo glad I did. Doan immediately put me at ease with her friendly demeanor. I can't speak for all ladies getting waxed in their third trimester, but there was nothing unusual about my sensitivity level. It's a relief to have one less thing to worry about maintenance wise for awhile, as the little one will be occupying all of my time soon! Thank you so much, Doan, for hooking me up read more

I was traveling to Dallas and got my eye brows done. I am super pleased with the result and experience. The quality of the work was truly fantastic and I would definitely recommend this shop to all Dallas locals. Thanks so much, honestly, one of the best beauty shops in the country. I came here yesterday and I will definitely be back again! Doan was the sweetest nicest person ever. I came in to get my eyebrows shaped and cleaned and she did them exactly like I wanted her to. That is what I liked about her, she asked you what you liked and didn't like. No where else I've been to has ever done that. And not only did she wax my eyebrows but she showed me how to fill them in too. Extra points for that! Her place is neat and very clean too. Loved this place and loved her too! read more

Doan is awesome! I went for a lash lift and tint that went wonderfully and looks amazing!! While there I decided to have my eyebrows cleaned up and she did a great job. She suggested that I get my brows tinted. I was super nervous and she talked me through the process and I told her exactly what I wanted--not too dark for my first time. I'm a redhead and super fair skinned so she suggested I do the lightest tint and to leave the tint on for less than the normal time. I'm so glad she suggested this and so glad i did it! My brows have never looked better. Do not hesitate to go here. I can't wait to continue these services and try more. My profile pic here is after what I had done at Bashful Beauty. Thank you Doan!! read more
