I had always wanted to try it but I was either too uncomfortable thinking about it or just scared that it may be painful. I messaged BellaRose BEAUTique several times to inquire information and she was quick to respond and answer all my questions which made the decision to schedule my first appointment an easy one. At my first appointment she made sure to allocate enough time to walk me through it and ensure I was comfortable and ready before proceeding. My first appointment was a complete success! You can choose to go anywhere you want I'm sure there are millions of places to choose from but if you want to go somewhere where you'll get to really experience kindness, professional experience and gain a real relationship with your Waxer that I can now proudly say I call her my friend she has gone from being a person I reached out to for a service to a person I trust and look forward to see hat I can call my friend. She's always been very forthcoming and…read morelet's me know what she's doing from start to finish - and she's exceptionally thorough on aftercare. But, that's not the reason for this review. Today, I did my FIRST EVER BRAZILIAN WAX!! **GASP** IT WAS AMAZING!  Well, the waxing part stung a bit...but I have tattoos and went through 30-hours of unmedicated labor, so, this wasn't as bad as I had imagined. (Not saying you have to have those things to be able to tolerate a Brazilian wax, but that's how I psyched myself up for it). My appointment was at 8:45 this morning. She was there already so I didn't have to wait. She greeted me and then left the room so I could get undressed from the waist down (privacy, for this? Yes, thank you very much!) She already knew how apprehensive I was and how nervous this unknown was to me. She literary walked me through each step she was doing! She kept me talking...and not mindless babble, but really engaging conversation. I didn't have to strike an awkward pose - like the cannonball (knees to chest), the frog (soles of feet together and knees open wide), and I certainly didn't have to go face down, ass up! And she went over what to expect, what to do and what not to do, and extensive after care. There was no time to keep one side covered while she did the other side - she worked both sides so easily! So, when the right side was done, she just had me change my leg positions! (The position I was in was on my back, if left leg was straight, my right leg was bent to make a figure 4, and vice versa.) And for the back end, all I did was lie on my stomach. I didn't feel self-conscious, overwhelmed, or exposed at all. I even bought these little bottles of aftercare stuff, called Love My Muff! She uses them so she was able to explain their purpose to me. Oh, and when talking about those areas, she never made it crude or uncomfortable, just matter-of-fact. Before I end, let me tell you, she has the best music! So, with all that said, I highly recommend Sweet Vanity waxing.

My skin is addicted to Amanda's facials. I try to visit her at least once every six weeks for a facial to 'refresh' my skin and she is great on recommending products that suit my face. I still get breakouts regularly to the point of still using Proactivy until Amanda recommended another option. She carries the Imagine Skin Care product line and recommended the Clear Cell Facial Cleaner. Since I have been using it, I rarely get breakouts at all anymore. Again, I don't tend to spend money on facial products, but I love the Total Repair Cream too. Going to Amanda regularly and using Imagine has my skin looking better than ever. The Salon is not big but that's what I like about it. It is very professional and classy and since it is small, very personalized. Unlike other salons I have been to where the registration and waiting area is decorated very high-end, but once you get into the room, it is very basic, the equipment looks worn, as does the esthetician, this salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and Amanda always delivers first class skin work. Oh...and she also does Airbrush tanning. I was going on vacation and didn't want to go to a tanning salon but I also didn't want to blind other vacationers with my white legs so I booked an appointment with Amanda to get a spray tan. It looked fantastic and by the time I left to go on vacation, I looked like I just got back. Be sure to follow Amanda's instructions for maintenance, especially if you are going to be in the Ocean. Salt water will fade it quickly - fortunately, by the time I was getting in the ocean, I had a base tan so all was good. Even living in Plano, going to see Amanda in Wylie is definitely worth the drive. I even bought my monther-in-law a gift certificate to see Amanda and she is now recommending Amanda to all her friends.

I've been there several times after the pandemic and the threading technicians have done a bad job every single time. I just left after I specifically told the lady I prefer my eyebrows thick. I told her that they did that here at this salon and she still proceeded to thread my brows too thin. I let her know at the end of my service that both my brows were too thin but at that point obviously nothing can be done. I paid $20 for brow and lip and yea I did only leave a half ass tip.
