She handed me a drink menu and made sure I was comfortable before her and Anne started working on my nails. Michelle gave me a Golden Mystique Pedicure while Anne simultaneously gave me a Golden Mystique Manicure. Both were kind, attentive, and thorough. The music and ambiance is calming with TVs muted and showing various cooking channels including travel and Food Network compilations. This was my first visit, but this spot is clearly loved by the community. Other clients were familiar with the technicians, greeting them by name. The ladies running the Downtown Salon Suites were nice! There are a lot of hair salons in the what used to be an office suite. Each vendor has their own little office to run out of. Kay's office/suite was down the hall in the back. She had a cancellation that day and was able to squeeze me in. She had a lot of colors to choose from, and you can do regular nail polish, gel, or dipped/powder nails. May also does fun designs, but I am a little boring so I opted out. My gel manicure turned out great ($40)! After about 30 minutes or so, my cuticles were cleaned up, and my hands felt amazing afterwards. My fiancé was able to hang out with me on the massage chair while she did my nails. You can call/text her before coming in to make sure she has availability.

My pedicure lady was great, except my pinky toes got messed up when she put my shoes on. Had to fix it myself at home as I didn't realize it until later after I left. My nails are still going strong and holding on, however I noticed some inconsistencies later on. Some nails are longer than others and some are not the same shape either and they kept racking up prices for something so simple, the acrylic set was 40 and all of a sudden it jumped up to like 70 bucks. They charge for everything, shape, color, probably even when they offer drinks. I don't really get my nails done at all so it was nice to try somewhere local and new to me, but I probably won't go back.
