Oh Allred's! The gold standard of all fruit stands. The olympic gold medal of peach sellers. The Lionel Messi among fruit dwellers. We set aside money each month to build an annual peach season budget, and you better believe it all gets shamelessly thrown in the direction of Allred's incredibly kind stand workers. Starting mid August and ending in mid September is the best time of year at Allred's: peach season. Each week they have a new variety of peaches to keep the peachy waves rolling all season long. They also have a large variety of apples for a great price! You can buy "firsts" or the best boxes and bags of apples or peaches between $20 and $24, but you can also get a box of "seconds" for $10 which are usually dotted with blemishes or are sometimes overripe. If you're willing to put in a bit of work sorting through and cutting up fruit, seconds can be your wallet's best friend! (Although it should be noted that seconds are never guaranteed to be available.) Allred's also sells cherries, (dried and chocolate covered), plums, apple cider, and Christmas trees in the winter. Every employee you come across at Allred's is kind and professional, and just wants to help you get what you're looking for! They take cash, card and Apple Pay to streamline the checkout process. Sometimes Allred's will be closed for a day or two because of weather conditions, or they are just plain sold out. Check their website for daily updates and subscribe to their email list to get news straight to your inbox. Allred's opens at 9:00 AM but you can get there 30 minutes early to get in line. I've seen them start selling fruit to the early birds as soon as 8:30 AM. Get ready to spend at least 30 minutes in line, but the price at the end of the wait is well worth every second. The parking lot is also jam packed so bring your smallest vehicle, or have someone drop you off and come back to get you when you're done. I hope you never go anywhere Allred's! All of Utah County adores your stand, your workers, and of course, your out of this world five star fruit.

Calling this an orchard is misleading. It is a fruit stand in a main road. Was hoping to pick apples but instead just got a bag of them :/

Best peaches you can buy. And an awesome price, too. If you're a locavore, you can't do any better than these guys.

Love this place! You get great fruit for a good price. I like getting their peaches, cutting them up and freezing them for quick shakes.

Even at full price these are less than the average grocery store, and you're supporting a local business.

This place is small, loaded with items and always busy. If you are okay with longer lines and trying to fight the crowd then have at it. Since this is the only Rancho in Utah County it is always packed with people. The aisles are really narrow and if you have a shopping cart be prepared to fight for space with other carts. They don't always have the items listed on their weekly specials so don't have a giant shopping list and expect everything in one stop. Mostly this is due to space. I will say that they have a lot of veggies and fruits considering the size. The produce area is always packed full and during the warmer months the tent out front has some of the weekly specials on display. For what they have, they do an amazing job. The bakery here is amazing though! I've tried many pastries and breads and everytime I've not been disappointed! Parking is tough even though it is a big lot. There are many businesses in the area so be prepared to circle. The staff at this location are alright. It's pretty hit and miss. Not as chatty as the other stores in Salt Lake and some are less friendly than expected. Again I'll blame being such a small location and having to do a lot of work to keep up with demand. Event hough it's small, they are constantly receiving and restocking their items. Shelves are neat and bins are filled full of items. If you're looking for essentials come here. Specialty things might be a little harder to find though compared to other stores.

Been here a few times already, it's just a tad further than I'd like it to be. The store itself is…read morepretty packed with food from aisle to aisle, and aisles are pretty narrow to begin with so if there's two of you in passing in one aisle, one, has to back out or else they would be invading your intimate space. However, this store has tons of variety of food from Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Thai, and Korean too. I'm pretty happy with what you can get here, especially having it be in Utah County (which lacks Asian grocery stores). I did come here last week and stocked up on snacks, Asian sauces, and other necessities. I did notice though, after I got home, that one of the items I purchased (ground chicharon = grinded up pork rinds) had the "sell by" date of May 2020 - say WHAT?! I was just there last week to buy this (November 2020). This item has been on the shelf for 6 months passed the "sell by" date. I'm assuming the "sell by" date of May 2020, means that maybe a week or two, it will then be no longer "fresh" to eat, therefore, why is it still on the shelf for purchase? In addition, I asked a young employee there to see if they carried it, and he said no. Two minutes later, I found it myself. Huh. So....this leads me to believe that: 1. The employees are not fully aware of what they carry and sell. 2. They don't frequently check shelves and expiration dates of items they are selling. It's great and all that this Asian grocery store exists in Utah county, but I think it needs improvement on the management side. Again, this store is not super close to home, so this is a money loss for me since I'm choosing to not drive 18+ miles one way to exchange/return this item (I bought 2 bags of it). If they kept their shelves up to date, this wouldn't have been an issue.
