This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Always clean and well organized. The produce and meats are always very fresh. I think my favorite part of Trader Joe's is trying all the new products! There's always something new and fun. I've tried a variety of their cheeses, frozen meals and snacks and everything is always good. Hummus is to die for! Trader Joe's has a cult following for plenty of reasons. Delicious house brand treats, bread, dips, frozen meals, milks and the list goes on! Always a huge selection of flowers, at a reasonable price. They have some fancy pumpkins during the fall season to make all the IG moms happy. I am obsessed with their crushed garlic and ginger. Produce selection is not as fresh, or as high of quality, as the local Smith's grocery. Cuts of steak are processed and bagged elsewhere and shipped into store. Overall, great selection of tasty Trader Joe's signature food, but lacks on the fresh food side. read more

I love Trader Joe's in Arizona so I decided to stop at this location while nearby to check it out. This location is pretty busy and in the parking lot next to the mall. The store is really good size and well organized. Prices are fair and I loved the fresh flowers. I didn't buy much as I'm traveling, but I picked up some great snack options. I have been to to Trader Joe's a few times. The staff is always friendly and nice. Tonight, I was looking for a specific product and I asked for help. They went over to the Custer Service desk and checked on the computer. It was nice to have someone be that helpful. They also have a cool variety of snacks and treats that you can't get anywhere else. My wife loves these cat cookies. I love their macaroons they have. What is not to love about Trader Joe's. I drive out of my way to grocery shop here. The quality of the food is always excellent. They have a variety of new products to try every month which is also fun. Their fruit and vegetable section is always great. I always can find new fruit and vegetables to try. Sadly, when I come back they don't always have some of the produce, which is a bummer but such is life. Honestly everything here is always excellent. I feel they do a really good job of keeping the shelves stocked especially during the weekends. The staff are always super friendly. They always talk to you and give you eye contact , which is a plus. They're always so appreciative when you bring your own bags. I pick up flowers when I'm there too. If I'm going on a road trip I always stop here before heading south. If I'm going hiking I bring snacks from here. If I'm looking for new recipes to try I come here. I've been a number of time, and even without the wine, it's a great place. It doesn't have everything we need for groceries, plus we prefer supporting local too. I love Trader Joe's!!! I heard so many wonderful things about it, and I went in with the mindset of, "It can't be THAT good can it?" Well...I'm here to tell you that it can! Trader Joe's has a lot of wonderful produce, dairy, meats, drinks, soups, snacks, greenery, and frozen items. It's actually crazy how they fit so much stuff in their fairly small store. Don't come here looking for traditional brands; the store is full of Trader Joe's specific brands. I love how they have so many unique food items! The customer service is always spot on. My cashier always asks me about my plans for the weekend or what I'm making with my food. It's refreshing to see employees who are working not only for a paycheck but also because they like people. One of my favorite things about Trader Joe's is their wholesome ingredients. Of course not everything is a superfood with no fat or sugar and a million nutrients, but most (or all?) of their food items have pretty straight-forward ingredient lists. They have a bunch of organic items, and you know you're not eating a bunch of crazy chemicals and crap. My favorite things to get there are the soups (tomato basil, butternut squash, carrot ginger, and sweet potato bisque), salad mixes (cruciferous crunch is so yummy), and the frozen items (I love the cauliflower and kale pizza crusts!). I've also heard raving reviews about their peanut butter cups, but I've never tried them. I wouldn't recommend doing your entire week's grocery shopping here, but I would definitely recommend coming and loading up a cart! You'll be happy that you have non-routine food to try, and you'll be sad that you don't have enough money or room in your car to buy everything you want to try. I like that they have their own brand. Everything I've tried fresh, frozen, canned, and so on has been top notch. I love their pre-made salads and soups. I pick up a few each week for my lunches. They offer pre-made pizza dough near the salads with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce which is really fun to pick up from time to time and make homemade pizzas at home. Keep in mind that some items are seasonal and change while others are consistent unless they are out of stock. They've been really good about keeping compliance with covid standards and continue to allow a certain number of people in the store at the same time. Love love love how Trader Joe's has handled the safety situation! They have spots to stand on the ground outside of the store that are 6 feet apart. They have a small capacity limit so you don't have to be too close to people in the store. They ask that all patrons wear a masks. While in the store, I feel like 70% of Utahns are socially distancing- the only aisle I have trouble in is the frozen section. I try to avoid people as much as possible. The workers are cheery and make sure we are quickly and cleanly getting all our groceries! The registers have hand sanitizer so you can sanitize after touching the pin pad. read more

Any true Californian will tell you that they love Trader Joe's! I feel like they started in California, but to be honest I have no idea. I just know that I grew up in Southern California and Trader Joe's reminds me of home! They have tasty and unique items! My favorite go-to item is their chocolatey cat cookies, they are a better version of "Teddy Graham's" in my opinion. During the Holiday Season they also have an Almond Kringle which is a large round pastry that tastes delicious. This place has healthy, organic, vegan, Keto...you name it; they most likely have it! Be warned; their stuff can be more pricey...not everything, but a lot of their stuff. Can you blame them? They're from California. read more

My eyeballs sure love this Trader Joe's location more than any of the others. Not that it's earth-shattering architecture, but they did create a really nice space. And since it's like a year old or less, it still has some of that sparkle. My relationship with TJ's has started to grow a little, based almost entirely on their floral selection, and I'm afraid that's where this spot fell a little short. Maybe it was the time of day, or day of week, but we stopped in specifically for flowers. And whereas my home TJ's has been there for me quite a bit this year in the floral area, this location was noticeably wanting. They did have a larger selection of succulents and cactus, so I give credit where credit is due. But when it came to the orchids, it was a disappointment. And the cut flowers were even more wanting. Again, it may have just been bad timing so I'm not closing the book on them just yet. I've come to have an appreciation for TJ's and have even bought a few snacks there recently that I would return for. But it's the flowers that keep me coming back over and over again, and that's where I feel like they need improvement. Flowers are a necessity, not a luxury. read more

One of my first stops when I first moved here. Staff are extremely friendly and always bring a positive attitude to lift up the atmosphere of the store. Never had any issues with the produce, always fresh and priced reasonably. I absolutely love the selections of carb items, snacks, and salads. Lately I have not left here without buying a carton of their organic chocolate milk. It's just too delicious. Produce is quite good too, and there are organic options available. Definitely look for seasonal items. My favorites are the butternut squash spaghetti sauce that comes out in the autumn and the condensed milk (awesome on bread or mixed in the coffee). This newly opened Trader Joes is pretty much like all the others. Highlights of their offerings are as follows: -Excellent assortment of dried fruit and nuts, including the best unsweetened mango and cherries, juicy mandarins, freeze dried berries, and the cheapest pine nuts anywhere -Bambas (basically peanut butter Cheetos. You NEED these) -Also other snacky foods like a rice cracker mix, wasabi peas, and crunchy cheese bites -Low priced salsas that are deeeelicious -Reasonably priced and high quality frozen fruits and veggies -Fun cheeses and cured meats (the Columbus salami "ends and pieces" pack is a steal) -Specialty produce you sometimes cannot find elsewhere (Figs! Cherry plums! Rambutan!), and though their standard offerings are sometimes priced higher than a grocery store, they are all always fresh -Best selection and longest lasting bagged salads -Coconut body cream is an absolute tropical dream, and the orange blossom hand soap is fancy looking, effective, and smells fantastic -Big ol' boxes of natural dog biscuits for like $3-something -Their butter is one of the few brands that doesn't include "natural flavoring" (whatever that is), and is $3 a pound. -Tons of varieties of coffee and tea -Frozen prepared snacks and meals. I don't purchase many of these, but they seem to contain less preservatives and undesirable ingredients as compared to other brands, but you can still count on them to be tasty. -Well-priced large floral selection, and they always have especially fab deals on seasonal flowers, like peonies (!!) and blooming branches (and as a special person taught me, you should always have fresh flowers in your home). House plants are also great, and it's an easy spot to pick up an orchid or two. -All the sweets, the best of which are Scandinavian Swimmers, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, mint chocolate coins, Danish Kringle, and Valrhona chocolate bars -Clever and fun reusable shopping bags -Creative and uncommon gifts and specials during the holidays, in previous years a Valrhona advent calendar, honey sampler, baked lemon ricotta, Rabitos chocolate stuffed figs, and OMG can't forget Jingle Jangle! -AND you can return anything you don't like, no receipt needed, and no questions asked Sorry for the lengthy love letter, but as you can tell, I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to many TJ's items. This location is spacious, with much wider than normal aisles. Trader Joes is infamous for the difficulty with which you must maneuver your cart through itty bitty congested spaces and seas of people on weekends and other popular times, so hurrah for that. Employees were friendly, though less so than my usual, the Fort Union location. Still, it's a first-rate spot, and while you probably won't find everything on your grocery list, and some items will be priced higher than elsewhere (though the majority are reasonable to ridiculously cheap here), you can probably complete about 75% of your shopping if you so wish. read more

Here's the deal. I'm genuinely not trying to be one of those "Trader Joe's is the best thing ever" type person. But in all reality it's a great little grocery story. And I'll tell you why. As someone who doesn't know their way around grocery stores that well, this place is the perfect size. I can find the things I need and get in and out quickly. I like how they've got fun items. Some of my personal favorites are the curry chicken salad, carmelized onion dip and their cheese selection. Try the goat log rolled in blueberries. It's delicious. Also the employees are SUPER friendly and very helpful. For someone who doesn't do good at shopping it's a great place. It's even got a great flower section for your girlfriend...Now if I could just get a girlfriend. :) read more

BLESS UP FOR FINALLY HAVING A TRADER JOE'S IN UTAH COUNTY! I know it was a pretty hotly contested battle between Orem and Provo to try and get the store within their city limits, but I think Orem was the better business move because a lot of people I know don't like to "drive all the way to Provo" but will make their way to Orem. But enough about that! Let's talk about how fabulous this store is! Nice navigable parking lot with plenty of space. You walk in and you're flanked by the fresh flowers and plants. Trader Joe's makes it so anyone can indulge in fresh flora in their home on a regular basis. The set up of this store allows for some nicely wide enough aisles without being so large and losing some of the charm of having a bit of that shoulder-to-shoulder neighborhood shopping feel. The layout of each section gives a flow to the store that makes sense. The only thing I would change is that there's not great spacing for exiting once you're rung up at the registers - it's a little cramped. Finally, let's talk service. From day one the staff was functioning like a well-oiled and friendly machine! It's made all the difference - no growing pains as far as a customer can tell, and this is something many of my friends have commented on. So will I be going to any other grocery stores from now on in Orem? Almost never. It would be great to see extended hours in the future though - being open until 10 like the location in downtown SLC would be a dream! read more

Trader Joe's has been a staple in our house even before Utah so we were pretty happy when we knew we were close to this location. I love how this cute quaint specialty grocery store has great quality food and delicacies! This location is a pretty clean location, right in the hub of the University Mall plaza area. They do require you to wear a mask while you are shopping. Came today to get the staples: milk chocolate covered pretzels and waffle cookies. What we also got that wasn't planned today: vegetarian samosas AND this chocolate bar that came straight from heaven! Trader Joe's Milk & Dark Chocolate Butterscotch Bits Bar!! I mean WHAT. THE. FREAK. When did they invent this little piece of fireworks in your mouth?!! It's the most perfect little chocolate bar I've ever tasted - and I don't know why no one else has created this sooner. The shape reminds me of the chocolate bars they sold at school for one dollar! But this actually cost $1.84 with tax. Will def frequent TJs a bit more now because of this little piece of heaven. So many popular items are sold out in the same day it gets delivered and many items are short shipped. I went today to get fresh garland and of course they don't have any. Their employees are for reals the most nice and helpful people ever. Even when there's a line to check out it's super fast. Be sure to check the end caps for new arrivals and get all the seasonal things. You can never go wrong. read more

There are so many amazing things about Trader Joe's. First, some of the best produce ever. Their broccoli florets so good and cheap, cheapest bunches of green onions, delicious apples, etc. Second, their bread, pizza dough, pretzel rolls, tortillas, so good. Third, FROZEN FOOD. chicken tikka masala and butter chicken like a restaurant that doesn't break the bank. Some of the easiest best potstickers. Delicious pizzas to pop in your oven. Frozen Mac and Cheese that taste just like mom makes. I could go on and on. Sauces: enchilada sauce, green dragon hot sauce, and the Sriracha Garlic BBQ are fam favorites. Next, snacks and treat: the corn dippers with the spicy street corn seasoning, the popcorn, chips, cliff bars as cheap as they come, the worlds most amazing Just the Clusters Granola, ABC cinnamon cookies, maple leaf cookies are a must, chocolate bars, hold the cone- beware you'll never go off the Christmas peppermint ones. Bringing me to another amazing/sad point. Season items!!! The happiest and then saddest thing to see them go. So many good items. Sometimes it seems pricy but it's quality stuff. Moved here recently and found that they have a TRADER JOE'S!!! I was so excited for anything familiar so on my way home from work, I decided to stop in. They had all of the items that I love but something that stood out to me was the helpfulness of the staff. From the folks stocking in the aisles, to the taste test stand, to the cashier, everyone delivered service and information with a smile. It is really a relief compared to some of the cold shoulders I've received here in town. On the way out of the checkout, the cashier suggested the rec center for my teen. I love this store a ton, but I wish that it was just a little bigger. It can get pretty crowded in the store, and especially with Covid, it makes it a little uncomfortable to be so close & elbow-to-elbow with people trying to get food from the freezer cases. I had a love/hate relationship with making people wait outside with store capacity, but maybe that should come back. read more

I was really impressed with this Trader Joe's! It is not the biggest or coolest Trader Joe's I've been to, but it definitely gets the job done. Satisfies the craving for a Trader Joe's in the area. It is clean, organized, fresh, and fun. Every time I have been they are giving out samples, and every time I have bought what they are sampling. So good! With it being a brand new store, it could have been insanely chaotic and disorganized, but I thought everything went smoothly. They couldn't have handled it better! The thing I have been most impressed with is the service. All the workers are kind, helpful, and happy. A lot of them are still getting the hang of things, but they work their hardest to help you find what you are looking for. I was especially impressed because one of the times I have been, I went with my disabled grandma in a wheelchair. The employees went out of their way to help and make sure we were taken care of. This Trader Joe's is the best thing to have ever happened to Utah County. The food is amazing of course and all of the staff are sooo kind and helpful. One day my account had overdrawn and I didn't realize, tried all my cards and they were all declining (embarrassing to say the least.) I said "never mind I won't be getting these" and a nearby employee walks up and pays for my groceries. Pregnant, exhausted and hungry me went to my car and cried at their generosity.
