Obviously from my rating u know how much I love this place. They have flash frozen tuna and hamachi. They have everything u need! I would have taken a photo of all the different poke I've made, but I would rather enjoy the moment than share something no one cares about. Stop taking pictures of your food!!! They have everything, even banana leaves. Crazy. Love this place. Oh and their hot food is great too.

I love H Mart. Chinatown Supermarket is wonderful but I live in Sandy now and found the offerings…read morepretty limited for Asian markets. I still go to other markets for certain items (like my favorite kimchi brand that H Mart doesn't sell) but I come here for everything else. It's insanely clean and bright and smells good inside, for those who care about such things. Their produce is fresh and well-stocked (though sometimes random things are very picked over like green onions). They have tons of variety in brands so I can find exactly which Korean/Thai/Chinese variety I've gotten used to. Very well stocked in the pantry aisle and a nice selection of kitchenware and household items, beauty products, gifts. The deli section is well stocked with ready-made kimbap and banchan. Big freezer and seafood section too. There is only a boba and K-beauty shop in the leased storefronts in the front of the market but hoping they attract some restaurants into the area soon like Chinatown. We need some good Asian food down south!

We have many Mexican and Latin markets in SLC, and most of them probably would have had it, but I was so excited to find La Pequenita, who specializes in South American groceries. Located right off State Street, I'd actually driven by the store many times, but due to their rather sad and downtrodden exterior, never paid it any mind. Inside, it is absolutely packed full of stuff! So many spices, beans, and rice, packaged cookies, candies, chocolate, and other treats, loads of soft drinks, cheese, jarred hot peppers, sauces, and other condiments, frozen tropical fruit pulp, La Michoacana paletas, and most importantly, they had my cancha corn...like ten varieties! I grabbed two bags, some Aji Amarillo paste to make Aji Verde, these yummy peanut treats, and a couple chocolates at the front counter. I didn't see the paletas until after I'd checked out or definitely would have grabbed one, and I missed the whole south end of the store, but I'll be back and make sure to spend more time in exploration. There was just one employee working, and she spoke little English, but we figured it out, and she was very nice. Prices are super reasonable. Parking is kind of meh, but I was able to easily find a spot along the street, it is just busy there, so not ideal.
