Been here a few times already, it's just a tad further than I'd like it to be. The store itself is…read morepretty packed with food from aisle to aisle, and aisles are pretty narrow to begin with so if there's two of you in passing in one aisle, one, has to back out or else they would be invading your intimate space. However, this store has tons of variety of food from Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Thai, and Korean too. I'm pretty happy with what you can get here, especially having it be in Utah County (which lacks Asian grocery stores). I did come here last week and stocked up on snacks, Asian sauces, and other necessities. I did notice though, after I got home, that one of the items I purchased (ground chicharon = grinded up pork rinds) had the "sell by" date of May 2020 - say WHAT?! I was just there last week to buy this (November 2020). This item has been on the shelf for 6 months passed the "sell by" date. I'm assuming the "sell by" date of May 2020, means that maybe a week or two, it will then be no longer "fresh" to eat, therefore, why is it still on the shelf for purchase? In addition, I asked a young employee there to see if they carried it, and he said no. Two minutes later, I found it myself. Huh. So....this leads me to believe that: 1. The employees are not fully aware of what they carry and sell. 2. They don't frequently check shelves and expiration dates of items they are selling. It's great and all that this Asian grocery store exists in Utah county, but I think it needs improvement on the management side. Again, this store is not super close to home, so this is a money loss for me since I'm choosing to not drive 18+ miles one way to exchange/return this item (I bought 2 bags of it). If they kept their shelves up to date, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Not my most favorite Rancho but still a great choice if you are looking for great fruits and…read moreveggies at wonderful prices. For Utah County you can't beat this place. This place is small, loaded with items and always busy. If you are okay with longer lines and trying to fight the crowd then have at it. Since this is the only Rancho in Utah County it is always packed with people. The aisles are really narrow and if you have a shopping cart be prepared to fight for space with other carts. They don't always have the items listed on their weekly specials so don't have a giant shopping list and expect everything in one stop. Mostly this is due to space. I will say that they have a lot of veggies and fruits considering the size. The produce area is always packed full and during the warmer months the tent out front has some of the weekly specials on display. For what they have, they do an amazing job. The bakery here is amazing though! I've tried many pastries and breads and everytime I've not been disappointed! Parking is tough even though it is a big lot. There are many businesses in the area so be prepared to circle. The staff at this location are alright. It's pretty hit and miss. Not as chatty as the other stores in Salt Lake and some are less friendly than expected. Again I'll blame being such a small location and having to do a lot of work to keep up with demand. Event hough it's small, they are constantly receiving and restocking their items. Shelves are neat and bins are filled full of items. If you're looking for essentials come here. Specialty things might be a little harder to find though compared to other stores.

They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! Not sure when they officially close for the season, but worth looking into before stopping by.

When we got there, there had to be nearly 100 scattered around with a sizable line. We probably waited about 20 mins to get to the window and order. While we waited in line, I was really suprised to see that there were only 3 tables available for people to sit. I find this pretty wild with how many people were there and I was told this was a "slow" day. It was almost 95 degrees outside and we had our little kids with us, so sitting in the grass and roasting wasn't an option, all the spots on the edge of the cement pad in the shade were taken, and of course the 3 tables were taken. When we got our ice cream (we ordered the cherry, peach, and then the apple cider slush) we just had to find somewhere to stand awkwardly while we had to wait to pounce on and fight for a spot on the ground that would eventually open up. They have an indoor area, where it seems they sell the peaches and other fruit they produce by the box, but I didn't see one person in there trying to buy any, and even then there was most certainly still space in there for a few more tables in the shade. For a place that's so busy apparently, it seems they could take better care of their customers. All that said, back to the actual treats themselves. I personally had the cherry and would say it was just okay. The ice cream reminds me of the ice cream you would get at the Costco cafe, which isn't bad, but certainly not super exciting. The cherries were good, though I have no idea if they are cherries from their farm or from a cherry pie filling can at the store. I wish the cherries were more evenly mixed in the ice cream. There was about an inch of straight cherries in the bottom, and some on the top. Meaning the treat started nice, then I had to eat through a bunch of plain vanilla ice cream to be able to get to the rest of the good stuff. Once I did, the ice cream gets a lot better when you can mix the cherries and sauce around with it. I tried a few bites of my kids apple cider slush, and it's exactly what it sounds like. I found myself wishing I'd ordered one of these instead. I found it a lot more unique and refreshing than what I'd gotten.
