    Pond

This little family and locally owned nursery is one of my very favorites, and they just continue to grow and offer more with each new year! For example, they currently have a small, but varied assortment of trees (lots of fruit) and bushes. In the past, it felt like they mostly specialized in annuals and planters, but they now carry many perennials as well as a whole plethora of herbs, and a mix of popular vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, melons, etc). Early in the season, you will find raspberries, blackberries, grapes, and even elderberries. Prices are outstanding and just about the cheapest I have found anywhere. This year they've added a water feature near checkout (which is fun on it's own!), and have native pond plants for sale such as parrots feather, marsh celery, water hyacinth, and many more. Their shop houses a selection of Tagge's salsa, honey, and other pantry foods, plus local meat, and as spring merges into summer, a growing collection of local produce and other treasures reminiscent of a farmer's market. They have added a limited section of fertilizers and other garden supplies this year. Highlights of last weekend's visit included fresh locally baked cookies for sale at checkout and an open pen of piglets! The employees are all charming and helpful, passionate and SO friendly - one even remembered me from last year. They are very active on social media, and a follow on Facebook or Instagram will notify you of sales and other specials. They are great about responding to online enquiries, too. Lastly, you can stop by Sundays, which is rare for both a nursery and a local market. I love supporting Kuwahara, and though I never plan it, end up here almost once each week.

These folks are fantastic. Best selection, best prices, family owned, and their potting soil is the best I've ever used.

Always a pleasure to buy from any of the Kuwahara locations. Great family run business with very good prices and quality plants/produce.

My one complaint is that some of the squash appear to have been mislabeled.

It was very organized, they had a great variety of pumpkins and they were priced well. Our kids chose 3 good size pumpkins and we only paid $13. We loved the little store! We bought some sourdough, cookies, donuts, a cinnamon roll, and garlic knots. The vanilla cronut was soft and had great texture and sweetness! The cinnamon crumble donut had great flavor, sweet and moist! We warmed up the pumpkin cinnamon roll when we got home and it was rich in flavor. You get a subtle pumpkin flavor, but it was so delectable. The sourdough garlic knots were soft on the inside and had a nice garlic flavor, we warmed it up when we got home and paired it with some marinara and it was amazing! Definitely recommend going! We loved it and so did our kids!

In addition to all the grocery goods indoors ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to coffee, honeycomb, meats, cheeses, and pastas, they also have soaps, lotions, balms, and other household items that are cute and functional. Their holiday shop is adorable with festive mugs, glasses, notepads, gift tags, and more They currently also have a tree lot outside and their Christmas trees are very fairly priced for their height We came during their holiday shop celebration and they showed off their event venue with hot cider, cronuts, donuts, and music. The dried flowers hanging from the loft are quite charming. Everyone was friendly including the two shop cats There are two parking lots including a smaller parking lot right in front of the shop and a larger overflow lot in front of the goats and small ponies. Recommend wearing boots or sturdy shoes and walking a little away from the fence to avoid the errant droppings. Lots of cute swings and benches for relaxing or photo ops and a fun festive environment. Totally recommend this local gem!

Not hugely high but certainly not bargain pricing either unless you are looking at seasonal stuff that is over with. That's always a decent deal. The main reason for my lower score was that the number of times we've been in and found a line with at least 3 people waiting and each person taking a minimum of ten minutes, some longer, to get through the cashier makes it actually painful to come here. They always seem to keep the place understaffed. Trying to find someone is tough and I don't think I've seen more than one yET at the register no matter how long the lines are. They are quick to apologize for the wait. The computers are often adding to the problem being slower than molasses to ring you up. The staff are always pleasant but the experience is consistently one that has me saying I wont go back and will try and find a different place to buy my home decor needs.

It was the perfect date night-an activity and a souvenir, and priced at $5 per person (plus supplies) I felt like it was a good deal. We arrived a few minutes early and saw other attendees lurking about, a little unsure on what to do. Eventually, we found our way to the back where there were tables setup and our instructor, ready to get hands dirty. The class itself was fun-Lucas showed us different plant options as well as items to put at the bottom of our containers to provide drainage. I would have loved to have had more time with him to learn more about the specific plants, what goes well together and how to best care for them when we got home. But there were at least 20 people there, all with questions, so we did our best and had a great time! While we were there, we also perused the other products-specifically the produce-so we could eat some fresh fruit while we planted. The selection was fresh, and we took home raspberries, nectarines and apples-as well as a bottle of raspberry jam. I didn't see a TON of larger plants or things for the yard-most of what I saw was on the smaller side. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm sure we will be back as we grow our collection of indoor plants.
