How have I never been here before? This is my favorite pumpkin patch I've been to in utah. Pumpkin patch is $5 entry, but if you want to go to the thriller park it's $30 on the weekends. They have shows every hour in the evenings on MWF and we got to see their shows and they were really fun. Raves for kids! Very loud, so if you or your kids are sensitive to noise I would recommend ear plugs. The thriller park has the show, performers, a corn maze, another maze type thing, and a foam pit and bouncy houses. The pumpkin patch has multiple pumpkin patches, TONS of pumpkins, and food trucks, ice cream, paintball (costs extra) and some shopping. Plenty of space, it never really felt overcrowded at all. Very aesthetic and great for taking pictures. Will definitely be adding this to our yearly traditions, this place is so much fun! The pumpkin patch was really cool if you just did that. read more

Great plants! They have several greenhouses and outdoor areas with flowering plants, vegetables, herbs, succulents, and trees plus an indoor farmers market. They have shopping carts and flat wagons. It was so busy the Friday before Mother's Day when I visited for the first time that they had employees directing parking. I thought prices were good. The plants I purchased were healthy. Lots of bees and ladybugs. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. read more

This little family and locally owned nursery is one of my very favorites, and they just continue to grow and offer more with each new year! For example, they currently have a small, but varied assortment of trees (lots of fruit) and bushes. In the past, it felt like they mostly specialized in annuals and planters, but they now carry many perennials as well as a whole plethora of herbs, and a mix of popular vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, melons, etc). Early in the season, you will find raspberries, blackberries, grapes, and even elderberries. Prices are outstanding and just about the cheapest I have found anywhere. This year they've added a water feature near checkout (which is fun on it's own!), and have native pond plants for sale such as parrots feather, marsh celery, water hyacinth, and many more. Their shop houses a selection of Tagge's salsa, honey, and other pantry foods, plus local meat, and as spring merges into summer, a growing collection of local produce and other treasures reminiscent of a farmer's market. They have added a limited section of fertilizers and other garden supplies this year. Highlights of last weekend's visit included fresh locally baked cookies for sale at checkout and an open pen of piglets! The employees are all charming and helpful, passionate and SO friendly - one even remembered me from last year. They are very active on social media, and a follow on Facebook or Instagram will notify you of sales and other specials. They are great about responding to online enquiries, too. Lastly, you can stop by Sundays, which is rare for both a nursery and a local market. I love supporting Kuwahara, and though I never plan it, end up here almost once each week. read more

We went here to look for plants to bring back to my mom, I went off the reviews and pictures. I am not sure when the pictures were taken, but what we saw looked nothing like the pictures. There was fruit and jars of pickles and a few other things that I didn't expect at a nursery/plant store but we were looking for plants. There was not a big selection, and the ones we were kind of interested in had very dry soil and didn't look healthy at all. We didn't feel this was the place for a plant for my mom and ended up leaving. read more

Finally made it to Kuwaharas looking for way out of season herbs. In love immediately. Ended up with whole pile of awesome plants. Staff was so lovely, feels like the plants come pre-loaded with great karma. Next time, I plan on doubling down in the sweet farmer's market inside. read more

This place is awesome! They have a huge variety of plants and fabulous prices. I went there for tomatoes and they didn't have a couple varieties I wanted (there are so many- no one can stock them all!!). I found them at another nursery and hated paying more because I knew I could get such a good price here! I also go grapes and herbs for a great price. The herbs were $1.50 and the tomatoes weren't far from that. Insane prices! It looks like they take great care of the plants. It's a fun place just to wander to see what is there. The people were also helpful. They know what is what and where and how to take care of it. You don't feel like you're shopping a crappy discount store or anything like that. It's just a regular nursery with good service and even better prices! read more

Great prices on flats of colorful flowers. Recommend going there if you want to get your colorful garden going as they have a great selection with good prices. They only have plants so you will have to get your soil and other garden needs elsewhere but definitely good idea making this your first stop for flowers. read more

I have been a faithful customer for years buying hanging baskets from Kuwahara. The baskets I bought a year ago were absolutely magnificent hanging on my front porch. People would ring my doorbell wanting to know where I purchased my hanging baskets. Everything I have ever purchased has been terrific and the people have been wonderful. 3 weeks ago, I purchased two hanging baskets for $117.50 cash. They were beautiful, a different kind of flowers from what I have had previously. Within a week, the plants started to die, they were massively infected with bugs. I phoned Kuwahara to inform them my plants were dying. I was told that once you buy a plant and leave the premises the plant is your responsibility and if it dies too bad. Needless to say, I am not too happy, nor will I ever shop at Kuwahara again, nor will I ever refer anyone to them. I am a huge supporter of Utah small business owners. This is one that is very disappointing and somewhat shocking! I miscalculated the fact that they are just another business ripping off their customers. Shame on you and in the future ring your sale on a cash register, provide a receipt and stop pocketing cash to avoid the IRS. Sorry I'm not stupid and you're busted! read more

I absolutely love this place. They have great prices along with fresh fruits, veggies and an array of plants, herbs and flowers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've bought 3 flower plants and a tun of pea pods and some small herbs plants this month all at great prices; please don't ask me how much I've spent Haahaaaha!!! It's located on a main busy street so it's easy to locate this time of year with all flower out by the road. I HIGHLY recommend this place. read more

I have shopped here ever since they opened. I started shopping with them at the south Jordan location for years. I will not shop here any more. This year the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. All of my hanging baskets, that I buy, 5 of every year, have died and were infested with moths and caterpillars. All the flats of petunias I bought this year were infested as well. I figured it happens and went back and bought 2 more, same thing happened and the new ones died. The farmers market has always been fun and it was a fun experience to watch the market grow each year. We love to get the roasted chili's. This year we purchased everything from berries, bread, kombucha and coffee and have found the prices to be so much more expensive than our local hometown grocery store, Harmons. I will save the drive and shop local there or the downtown farmers market. Sorry kuwahara you've lost a long time customer. read more

Most favorite farmers market! You wouldn't know it's as cool or big as it is unless you went it. Driving by does absolutely no justice. Please, if you see this place, you HAVE to go in.m, you won't regret it. read more

Everything is coming up spaghetti! We bought most of our garden plants here. The prices were great and they are all flourishing. My one complaint is that some of the squash appear to have been mislabeled. My zucchini and butternut squashes have both turned out to be spaghetti squash, so now I have a ton of it. It's fine, but I am sad I won't have any zucchini this year. read more

I LOVE KUWAHARA! I can't spell it but I love shopping there. My wife loves the flowers and the prices. Don't expect any additional supplies ie, shovels, dirt and so on. Plants only. I picked up some Tomato starts and some additional flowers. you should support this local gem. you will be happy that you did. read more
