This new place is huge, everything is spaced out well, and the place is well-lit so it's easy to see all the wonderful merchandise. The service I received was terrific. I was there to inquire about lighting for my patio, since they carry really lovely custom lights that lend a romantic feel to any garden space. They were able to answer all my questions, and provided me with helpful tips and suggestions. While Modern Display's new store has only been open for four days now, you wouldn't know it! They're already well stocked with classy and fun Halloween, Autumn Harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other Winter decor. As part of their grand reopening, they were advertising all Fall and Halloween merchandise at 25% off, and it's ridiculously cute stuff! Staff pointed out that the Christmas/Holiday trees aren't decorated yet. No worries, that just means I get to have an excuse to come back n' see! Every year, the MD display trees are always very lavishly decorated, and just gorgeous. Thank you, I'll be back!

My estimator pulled up my address on Google Maps and walked me through all the options. Within 24 hours I had a full estimate in my inbox which was quite reasonable. Our estimate included: LED Lights custom cut to our roofline, installation, extension cords, timer, removal at the end of the season and storage until the next year. The first year cost includes purchasing the lights and install while the second year is about 1/2 the cost for install only. I called to schedule an appointment the Friday before Thanksgiving. I was given a confirmation that lights would be installed by the following Monday which was amazing turnaround given the busy time of year. I paid the $100 deposit by credit card and when I arrived home that's Monday I had beautiful lights on my house. The invoice stuck in my door was for $100 less than the estimate! Whooohoo!! I totally recommend these folks! Of the 4 companies contacted through Yelp for this service, this was the only company to reply in a timely manner. The only other respondent took 2 weeks to reply apologizing because they were so busy but I already had beautiful lights hung!! Love my lights!

They contacted me last week and we set up the appointment which occurred yesterday. Lights are fully functional and they replaced the transformer with an updated version. Everything is operational and back to how it should be. Hopefully for those of you waiting, service can be performed sooner rather than later. Updating my review back to five stars. Hopefully it holds as long as service and warranty support are operational. Installed lights about two years ago. From the very beginning, issues with synchronizing lights, using phone and app. Several months later ultimately identified as the control box which needed to be replaced. The service manager for my area was fantastic. Admitted to me that multiple sections of the lights were installed incorrectly, but luckily he could fix them. Intermittent issues with lights since then, but they were repaired relatively quickly.

When issues arise, repairs can take 6-8 weeks, which is completely unacceptable for a product at this price point. It is nearly impossible to speak with an actual person unless you have a very basic support question. For more serious problems, you're left waiting with little communication and no meaningful assistance. There are many other companies offering similar products, and based on my experience, I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead. They were flaking all over the place because the spray paint wasn't sticking to the petals very well. Idk if this is a normal thing florists do, but it was the first time I've encountered the practice. When it was bunched up as a bouquet inside the cooler it didn't look to be spray painted.
