This new place is huge, everything is spaced out well, and the place is well-lit so it's easy to see all the wonderful merchandise. The service I received was terrific. I was there to inquire about lighting for my patio, since they carry really lovely custom lights that lend a romantic feel to any garden space. They were able to answer all my questions, and provided me with helpful tips and suggestions. While Modern Display's new store has only been open for four days now, you wouldn't know it! They're already well stocked with classy and fun Halloween, Autumn Harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other Winter decor. As part of their grand reopening, they were advertising all Fall and Halloween merchandise at 25% off, and it's ridiculously cute stuff! Staff pointed out that the Christmas/Holiday trees aren't decorated yet. No worries, that just means I get to have an excuse to come back n' see! My estimator pulled up my address on Google Maps and walked me through all the options. Within 24 hours I had a full estimate in my inbox which was quite reasonable. Our estimate included: LED Lights custom cut to our roofline, installation, extension cords, timer, removal at the end of the season and storage until the next year. The first year cost includes purchasing the lights and install while the second year is about 1/2 the cost for install only. I called to schedule an appointment the Friday before Thanksgiving. I was given a confirmation that lights would be installed by the following Monday which was amazing turnaround given the busy time of year. I paid the $100 deposit by credit card and when I arrived home that's Monday I had beautiful lights on my house. The invoice stuck in my door was for $100 less than the estimate! Whooohoo!! I totally recommend these folks! Of the 4 companies contacted through Yelp for this service, this was the only company to reply in a timely manner. The only other respondent took 2 weeks to reply apologizing because they were so busy but I already had beautiful lights hung!! Love my lights!

I also wanted to ask why my information had not been provided on the card I had asked to be completed. I was informed that it wasn't and wanted to know why your company would not think to ask? Also, to let your company know that DoorDash blamed your company and the driver and assumed no responsibility for the items never making it the intended recipient. I was shocked at the defensiveness of your employee! She wanted to shirk any responsibility. While DoorDash should ultimately be responsible pointed out that being aware of the issue which your employee was and stated if I wanted to get it there that I should have used your website that your company is still part of the problem by using DoorDash. Please note that I went off ratings here at yelp to determine a florist. I first found your shop and found it could be delivered through DoorDash. My question still remains how do you send personalized card when not given any info? Had I known that I would have picked them up and delivered myself. I felt you needed to know the problem in using a third party. Then for you to claim that this a first is laughable. I was informed this happens all the time from the hospital staff. I however apologize for my assumption that I thought I was speaking with the owner and noted it as such in my review and was instead speaking to your employee. I did say that I was going to write a review as my recourse so others can be aware of using DoorDash to get flowers to a recipient at a hospital since your employee noted there are no concerns in using DoorDash.
