I met with Kacey for a consultation back in mid June, and she really listened to my general ideas and the theme of my wedding before pulling out some samples. We went over different paper styles, invitation layouts, fonts, wording, and colors. We went over a ton of stuff I hadn't even thought of. She was patient with me while I took everything in and communicated with my fiance over text message, taking and sending pictures since he was out of the area and I wanted him to have a say, too. She made suggestions based on her experience and wealth of knowledge in the wedding invitation industry, which was most helpful since I really had no idea what I was doing. She was very up front with pricing, and offered to quote two different options. She sent me the quotes via email, and they were itemized which made them very easy to understand and make choices between certain type of paper and decide whether to include certain elements. She sent us an electronic proof soon after we made our decision and deposit, and sent us a hard proof once the initial corrections were made. Once we approved the hard proof, she ordered the invitations straight away. We received the invitations within one month of the initial consultation. We ordered 100 invitations, backing cards, ribbon, jute twine, brand tags, response cards, and envelopes. Kacey went above and beyond; she was injured the day before she received our invitations materials, and was unable to drive to the office for me to pick them up. She offered to ship them to me as she was on her way to the doctor for some medical tests. Who does that? This woman is on top of things! And Kacey, if you're reading this, I hope you have fully recovered and thank you for doing such a wonderful job for Paul and I! We loved our invitations, and so did everyone else!

I was shopping for Easter gifts with my son and, since the store does not provide carts, we used…read moreour stroller to hold several stuffed animals and a book while we decided what to purchase. While changing his diaper in the restroom, my son began showing signs of an asthma attack. He has severe asthma, and I immediately rushed him to the car to get his inhaler. In the stress of the moment, I unintentionally left the store with several stuffed animals still in the stroller. As soon as I realized what had happened, I called the store to explain and let them know I would return the items. I mistakenly contacted the West Jordan location instead of the Sandy store and was unfamiliar with the exact city when asked. I intended to return the items after work at 5:00 p.m.; however, at exactly 5:00, I received a call from a police officer informing me I was being accused of shoplifting and needed to return immediately. I fully cooperated and brought back every item as fast as I could. Unfortunately, despite explaining the medical emergency and my efforts to correct the mistake, I was met with a lack of understanding and was issued a citation. The owner explained she was a mom herself with a child that had asthma so I was very shocked to see the coldness and lack of understanding. I cooperated the whole entire time and apologized multiple times This was an honest mistake made during a medical emergency involving my child. And when I told her that she said "well you were at a pharmacy" as if that's the same as a hospital. I acted promptly per my motherly intuition and I to took full responsibility and returned everything immediately, and I hope other parents can understand how quickly situations like this can unfold. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially those shopping with young children.

They aren't f*uckin' around. This store has got what you need if you're a serious or aspiring artist. I work in many mediums and have never walked out of this shop without what I needed and even more of the stuff I didn't yet know I needed. It seems like I always learn something new here, find a tool I haven't used before, or find the things I've been looking to purchase again for years but couldn't find them anywhere else. High pigment oil paints? Obvi. Those little tiny eraser pen refills? Got 'em. Powdered charcoal? Yes. Liquid charcoal? Absolutely. 10 different kinds of vellum? Canvas stretching supplies? Bougie ceramic glazes? Check. Check. Check. The prices? Art store prices. Michael's and Hobby Lobby will charge you just as much for half the quality and a small fraction of the selection. (Ew) The staff? They've always been friendly and helpful with me. This place has always been busy when I went in, from what I can tell the cashiers work quickly. The COVID precautions? Blick flexes their customer skills here, too. They pay someone to stand in the doorway and monitor the number of people in the store, and kindly let you in when the number is back down. During peak times like this, they limit people to 15 minutes of in-store-time so they don't leave people outside forever. AND the counter gets a wipe down between each customer. Anything you can think of, they've got you taken care of. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.-
