A dear friend passed away in Lehi UT and my husband and I, who live in AZ, wanted to provide flowers for his visitation and funeral. The staff at Sandy Flower Shop were wonderfully helpful. Following a great deal of online research, I called to place an order for a funeral spray. After discussing prices and colors, I place the order and listed the people for the card and gave my credit card information. I was told that my card had been declined, but I had been sent a text asking me to verify the purchase as a fraud alert. I verified on my phone that I had been the one to place the order, and asked the person at the store to run my card again. I was told that I would be sent a photo of the arrangement before it was taken to the viewing in two days time. The night of the viewing, I didn't receive a photo, but wasn't too worried. The next day, I went to the funeral, and couldn't find the arrangement. I immediately called the store, but had to leave a message; nobody was answering. Three calls later, they finally answered. the funeral was over, and I was at the cemetery walking toward the grave. There was no record of my order. I was mortified. The order represented my mom' s whole side of the family, and now there was nothing I could do to place another order. It was too late. They ask if I wanted to send something to the family, but we were already at the cemetery. I had to hang up to participate in the gravesite service. They took my number and the last four digits of my credit card, and was told they would look into what had happened. I have yet to hear back from them. Do not recommend. read more

Note, this shop also goes by Sunshine Floral Creations from when they used to be in South Jordan. I've had them design flowers for two weddings, many funerals, corsages. They have exceeded expectations every time. Usually I just give them a budget, a theme, and perhaps a favorite flower. They know what to do. read more

I went to the shop in person because I had a very specific idea of what I wanted. Dawn who made the arrangement showed me all the flowers that would be used. This afternoon I had a knock at the door, and was pleasantly surprised. I was the recipient of a beautiful fresh bouquet created and delivered by Sandy Flower Shop. I'm very pleased with the quality & design of the flower arrangement. I noticed their attention to small details (the stamen had been plucked to prevent any mess of pollen). Amazing customer service! We ordered flowers for a friend that was in the hospital, to be delivered the next morning; she was released 3 days earlier than planned, missing her delivery. This shop contacted me to let me know, but since the friend was already home in Elko, NV, there was not another address for them to deliver to. Instead, I asked if they could deliver to someone else and they did not even hesitate. No extra charge. They were thoughtful throughout the entire process and we would absolutely recommend them. My Daughter was asked to prom days before the event on Mother's Day weekend. I called 5-6 shops for a boutonnière with no luck. After watching multiple YouTube videos I went to Sandy flower shop to buy a rose,baby's breath and fir leaves to do it myself. After asking for the items and explaining what they were for the Manager/owner (not sure) offered to make one on the spot! Needless to say that kind of service makes me a customer for life. After finding out my Aunt had passed, funeral services were scheduled 8 days later - I called to place an order for an easel flower arrangement - My 'ask' was for lavender roses & willow sticks within the arrangement giving it a rustic look - When asked if there's a flower I don't want... I said carnations - I asked if a pic could be sent to me prior to delivery - Even though the arrangement was beautiful... it CLEARLY was NOT even close to what I had ordered given that it had white roses instead of lavender, pink carnations throughout when I specifically asked to eliminate carnations & to boot it had no willow sticks - I was then sent a pic of a lavender rose they had in the shop which is CLEARLY NOT lavender but a mauve/pink color (pffft) - Bottomline, having 1 week notice my 'ask' was not met - I was not able to send an arrangement given that the funeral was now the next day - The only thing the shop did correctly & in a timely manner was issue a refund - I'm 110% highly dissatisfied; not to mention, disappointed read more

I came to SLC from Dallas for my brother in law funeral services. My nephew had already ordered the funeral flowers from Sandy Flower Shop. I wanted to order a couple of baskets from my family also. I walked in the shop, the shop manager, Dawn, was extremely pleasant and helpful. She told me she can fill the orders with what she had in the cooler and was nice enough to let me walk in the cooler. We picked red and purple flowers which were deceased favorite colors and she made the baskets in a couple of hours notice. I walked in the funeral home a few hours later and was truly impressed by what she had done. As an ex flower shop owner, I am pretty critical about flower arrangements, but I was speechless by what I saw. she had done. Beautiful, tasteful and stunning arrangements. The woman I spoke to was kind and helpful and the delivery was on time. However, the actual arrangements left me nonplussed. I left comparison photos below. For a $40 bouquet, we got a bunch of carnations and daisies with some small roses thrown in. In contrast, when I ordered a bouquet from Jimmy's flowers up in Bountiful, they created a stunning arrangement of lilies, gerbera daisies, delphinium and alstroemeria. Sadly, they don't deliver as far south as where my mom lives. I guess my hunt for a stunning florist continues. read more

We ordered the "Florist Choice" for cut flowers and "Dish Garden" plant arrangement from Sandy Flower Shop. Both were beautiful, lush, and healthy. Our sister said both were "the best quality I have ever seen!" We ordered these by phone, and the florist was very helpful and patient.
