2 stars because the actual flower arrangement was very beautiful and well done. However, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my flower order for my friend's funeral service. Over the phone, it was discussed that the ribbon would read "From Kayla's friends in California." However, the arrangement was delivered with incorrect grammar. It was missing the apostrophe in "Kayla's," and there was an unnecessary comma after "from." In addition, the card information was cut off, omitting about one-quarter of the message we submitted online. Most upsetting, the card did not even include who the flowers were from. Considering this arrangement was meant for a funeral service, we are extremely upset about the way this order was handled. read more

On Wednesday February 10th, a delivery driver brought a dozen long-stemmed roses in the beautiful vase to my office. Never 11 roses on when white beautiful rose in the very center surrounded by Greenery and baby's breath and all the Galore! This was the most beautiful unexpected gift I received ever for Valentine's Day. These roses lasted for at least two weeks. The blooms were absolutely beautiful, shaped like Bells, the stems we're healthy and didn't bend. The baby's breath is usually the one that dies out first it lasted throughout the duration of the Roses! I have taken at least 200 pictures of my beautiful roses and have enjoyed every one of them. I like to make mine at roses last as long as they can but it wasn't necessary because these roses were so fresh that all I had to do was put in a little bit more water to keep them alive! My boyfriend lives in Fillmore, and ordered these roses through Millcreek Flower Patch. They did not disappoint at all! "Fast and friendly floral service at a moments notice." The business of wedding arrangements can be both stressful and challenging. Being tasked with outfitting the bride with a Calla Lily bouquet with gold ribbon accents in Salt Lake City was quite the assignment and the last minute hunt for this floral arrangement was near impossible. Having only 48 hours notice I found myself calling at least 9 places just to hear the general answer of "no we don't have calla lilies here." One place finally gave me a response "yes we do and we will have it in a bouquet for you." The acceptance of the challenge to build a bouquet within a moments notice was music to my ears and I immediately agreed and provided payment information on the same call. The Flower Patch is floral company hidden near the 4500 South exit off I-15 and requires an immediate left turn upon exiting. I was there early to pick up the bouquet and found myself marveling at the simplicity yet beauty of the arrangement. I never mentioned adding greens to the bouquet yet the staff, as if by some magical thought process, accented the calla lilies with greens and even packed it in vase with water for transport. The attention to detail was impressive and the florists were very excited to hear about the wedding assignment. I give this business high marks for efficiency, cleanliness, presentation, and going above and beyond customer expectations. read more

Due to my poor time management skills and lack of follow up during this instance I placed an order for a arrangement that I requested be done in an hour after confirming my purchase...great planning on my behalf! My request was unrealistic so I wouldn't have been disappointed if it went unfulfilled. WRONG KAY. The service I experienced left me pleasantly surprised. I tried placing a last minute online order but it wasn't allowing me to submit my request since it was too late in the day. I called and asked if there was any way to expedite my order in hopes something could be done and the staff was very helpful! Ordering through this establishment was quick and easy. The website is very friendly easy to use, and reasonably priced. I ordered a basket for a funeral, and it turned out great. They send out an email confirming your order, and then send out another email with pictures of your oder. Once the order arrives at its destination, you will receive another email notification that it has arrived. I loved knowing that my flowers were taken care of, and I didn't have to worry about it. In all fairness this review is of the West Jordan location. But since both seem to be owned by same I feel it is relevant. I purchased some flower on their website a week ago for pickup the afternoon the day of a very special day for my wife and I. Since plans and reservations were made and were very tight, the time I requested was for when I could drop by and pick up on my way home. I got there and the store doors were locked with a sigh on the door that they would be back 45 minutes from then. Again because time was tight I could not wait and had to leave without the flowers that I had ordered and paid for a week in advance. Who close, and leaves during their posted business hours? The number that was on my order went to the Murray store who had no idea why the other store was locked up and was no help. Said they would cancel the order and I requested they credit my card. Online ordering (I am out of town) was easy and quick, and I also got an emailed picture to see and review my order. That was all pleasant. However, flowers never delivered. The flowers were going to my mother at the Huntsman Center to cheer her up after her surgery, the catch was she was being discharged at noon the next day. I chose to have the flowers delivered between 8-12. At 12:30, I got a call that they attempted to deliver but she had already been discharged. Understanding there might have been an overlap in time, I accepted it and they offered to deliver to her house. However, I did ask what time the delivery was attempted and I was told 10 am. It was a lie. Shortly after hanging up, I received an email that the delivery was attempted at 12:15. Again, I'm okay with the overlap and understand, but my mother was not discharged until 11:45, if it was truly attempted at 10, she would have received them. So from afar, the best conclusion I can come to is that the attempt was not made until after 12, though when I ordered I ordered BEFORE 12. All forgivable in the name of an overlap. But lying to your customer is a terrible way to run a business. Although frustrated, I was happy that it would be resolved with a delivery to her house. "by 5 tonight" Received a note from my father the next day that still no flowers, 24 hours later. The note came from those who were supposed to receive the flowers, NOT the company whose responsibility it is to get them there on time. read more

Great prices on flowers! This location is more of a warehouse with a bridal rental focus, but it's close to work and my go-to for flowers. Prices per stem are often better than you can find about anywhere else, including Costco. They don't have much in the way of arrangements, and it can be difficult to find someone to help you (as often they're all in the back), but neither of those are a big deal to me. read more

When I received photos of the arrangement it was in the wrong vase (when I emailed a complaint they said "we ran out of the vase you ordered.") The flowers were already half dead upon delivery. So I emailed a complaint. They offered to send a replacement arrangement in the vase I ordered. The replacement arrangement was even worse than the first! More than half the flowers wilted/ droopy and dead. I emailed a second complaint. Even though they sent two dead arrangements they will not issue a refund because this is "policy." read more

There are a few things I like about this place and one of them is the proximity to Kitty City. Parking is always pretty good, though getting to this spot the first time can be a bit of a pain. Inside, it very clearly is geared towards event floral services, but they are always good about making time for walk-ins. I happened in there today, as I was near it and Valentine's Day and so on and they were doing a great job handling the influx of people. I didn't have time to wait, but did check out how the shop has changed. It's more like a clearinghouse maybe for other stores and has a lot of interesting decor stuff. It does not have a very intimate feel, though, which I found a touch off-putting. Cards and vases were slight, but they did have chocolate covered strawberries and packages that were pretty cool. Sure, you pay double that you would at Smith's, but here you get nice, thick stems and there are also no brown spots or anything less than perfection. You can either get them to help you or make your own arrangement or buy a pre-made one, all very nice options to have. There is not a bad Flower Patch that I've found and this probably overall my second favorite. read more

I live in Washington State and have a friend in Salt Lake City who I wanted to send flowers to. I asked one of her coworkers for a recommendation and she suggested Flower Patch. I called them and they were able to deliver same day! I told the gal to choose something simple and bright (Thinking of You style). She suggested I look on their website, so I did. They had all these different arrangement styles with prices that gave me an idea. I liked the Mango Small arrangement, and she said that was a "great choice"! I placed the order over the phone, and because she knew I was in a different state she offered to email me a receipt. Little did I know, she would include a photo of the arrangement they made in the email! She said it would be delivered within 4 hours, but I received a photo from my friend of the arrangement at her desk a little over an hour later! :) They were beautiful and bright (just what I wanted, and just what she needed)! My experience with Flower Patch was not good. Poor communication, customer service, and follow-up on the part of the Flower Patch. Very difficult to order online and ensure flowers will be there when needed. I purchased two large sprays for a funeral. They were delivered too early, and were nothing like the advertised arrangement. The flowers were lacking, wilted, and it looked cheap. I purchased two of their top tier sprays. One was 220 dollars, and the other 200 dollars, plus tax and delivery fee. If you are ordering flowers for an important occasion where you need to rely on your florist, and expect quality, I would not recommend Flower Patch. read more

I hired The Flower Patch (Murray Location) to do flowers for my wedding. Let me start by saying that when all was said and done, I had the flowers I needed and they were beautiful for my wedding, but getting there was very stressful. First of all, we scheduled an appointment to come in and meet with a "consultant". The person that I met with was not helpful, and seemed to be very inexperienced. She seemed high school aged and was pretty quiet. I had brought in a picture of an arrangement from their Facebook page, and told her that's what I wanted, and she responded with a blank stare. It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to tell me more about the bouquet and how much it would cost. Finally I ended up showing her my color scheme and we started from scratch. All and all the appointment was about 10 minutes... and I left feeling satisfied but a little worried about what to expect. Fast forward to the day before our wedding. We were told that we could come pick up our flowers any time after 4 the day before. My fiancee and I were in the area, so we were the ones to go pick them up, and they. were. not. finished. They had written down that we were coming to pick up the flowers the following day (our wedding day). On top of that, the colors were not correct on some of our flowers. Apparently their version of "coral" is more of a burgundy red. I hoped that the person that helped us would know when I said "coral" after looking at my swatches, they would know to only recommend the coral color I was referring to. All in all, they took off the "coral" flowers and replaced them with "peach" and we were out the door in about an hour and a half. Looking back on it, I wish I would have gone with another company, even though I was pleased with the final result, I don't think it was worth the hassle.
