They redeemed a star because they fully refunded my order, and dealing with the refund was as painless as I think it could have been. Now, the story: I ordered 2 corsages, and 3 boutonnieres for a formal event that I was attending with my husband and several friends. Think like a prom type event. We had pictures scheduled, a dinner, and then the formal event. We pick up the order on our way to the photo session, and arrive to find that none of the guy's flowers had pins or ways to attach them to the jacket lapel. Ok, we scrounge up some paperclips (really it was the best we could do since our photographer was there and waiting on us) and get them on and start to take pictures. A couple of the flowers, which were orchids, looked scraggly already, but what could we do? We hadn't opened and checked them before we left the business because I didn't think it was necessary. Approximately 15 minutes into photographs, one of the corsages loses the first flower. Each corsage had three flowers in it, and before we even made it to the main event of the evening both corsages were down to just a single flower remaining. It was disappointing to have to call to deal with the refund between dinner and our event, and the shop did refund our payment, but it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for on an $80 flower order. read more

KEEP DISTANCE! TERRIBLE SERVICE! I bought flowers and a balloon for a close friend who had an accident and I paid for the delivery. I also left a gift to be delivered with it. They decided not to deliver it and they asked my friend who was sick to go pick it up...HOLY COW!!!! But, how they work hard to do CRAPPY SERVICES, they sent my friend to pick up the flowers in another store and NEVER gave her the card or the gift. They even told her that they don't have any idea who sent her the flowers. Still working hard to exceed the expectations to be more irresponsible, they kept the gift and the card for them without a single call back/voicemail/message/email!!!!! I had to figure out 4 DAYS LATER that my friend NEVER received the flowers at her house or the gift!!!!!!!! After, all that they gave me back 6 old flowers from last week, a "get well soon" balloon (my friend is already back to work) and NO REFUND for anything, including my delivery fee. I stopped here thinking they'd have a better selection but was disappointed to see just a few types of stems and bunches available. They don't let you see what they have available in the back for wholesalers, you just have to know what you want without seeing it. The sales girl didn't know pricing, gave me incorrect pricing and insisted on charging me more than she quoted because she said she just told me wrong. Overall the selection is limited and the flowers are very overpriced. Not worth the trip. They made shopping for one of my favorite things a very unenjoyable experience. read more

I'm not one to typically write a poor review, but I've never experienced such poor customer service. I placed an order Sunday night, the 24th, for a delivery in another state for the 25th. I got the confirmation, thinking everything would be perfectly fine. The day of comes with the time I selected, the person who should be receiving still hasn't gotten them. I call the call center, they then tell me "oh! i've been having problems with this order all day." okay, and why haven't i been notified? I would expect if you're having a problem with that order, I would get a call/email or something to let me know it isn't going to be delivered the day/time now i set it for? They then tell me that they're going to re-send the order through once more in the morning and hopefully it'll work out then and they'll update me in the morning. The next morning comes, still no call. I had to be the one to call ONCE AGAIN for an update. They then tell me that it's showing out for delivery, and to confirm with the location who'll be delivering it in another state. I call that location, they do not see my order. I had to call Flower Patch again, for them to tell me again, "i'm not sure why there is a problem. let me call them and re send it." they call them, I get a call back from the manager explaining me now that, due to weather (which i understand is out of everyones control) they wont be doing deliveries for the next two days, but they should now receive it and delivery it in the next two days." meaning, it'll be Thursday(thanksgiving- so i doubt it) or Friday. The manager then tells me that once one of those two days come for a delivery, i'll get an email confirmation from the location delivering the flowers. If i still have problems, they'll refund me. Okay, but I'm thinking by the time this gets figured out, the 2 days it takes for me to get a refund, it'll be all figured out and delivered? They made it seem like the problem was resolved, and that it'll just be 2 days now. Thursday passed (I don't worry because I understand it's a holiday and they're probably backed up from the last 2 days not doing deliveries). Friday afternoon comes.. Still nothing. I call the location who is supposed to being doing the delivery, STILL CAN NOT FIND ME OR THE ORDER. At this point, I'm fed up. I call flower patch, they said they'll force it through AGAIN. They'll update me in another hour, and if that doesn't work they can refund me and to call/pay the other location directly. They said the other location is looking out for the order. I then ask why they can't do it over the phone themselves, since clearly this is a system problem? The manager tells me, "well, so they can get their money." OH, OKAY. But who cares about the customer who has had the $79.00 bucks taken out of their account the DAY it was requested. I waited another hour, still no call from the manager, I called the location who'll be delivering once again, they tell me they still haven't gotten it and that it's now 6 minutes past the cut off so it won't be out today if it gets figured out. GREAT. I had to call flowers patch again, the manager said "I'm so sorry, it still isn't going through." So i tell him what the other location told me, and at this rate it'll be 6+ days late on the delivery and just to refund me. He agrees to and apologizes. I'm a manager my self. I understand certain things are out of their/our control, but this is ridiculous. Just a refund? Not a credit? Just my money back and no resolution 5 days later. Ridiculous, and what a run around all week. If any of my paying clients had to deal with this, I would have refunded them 2 days after it became an issues, REGARDLESS if it ended up getting delivered or not, and a credit for in inconvenience. But don't worry, i'll never go through them directly again. If this is such a problem in the future, maybe don't take out the money until the order goes through on the other end. My advance if you're delivering out of state- DO NOT GO THROUGH FLOWER PATCH. Now i not only have to not get the flowers delivered, but I have to go through a different location directly, and wait 24-48 hours for a refund. read more

The Flower Patch sends spam every few days. It refuses to remove email addresses from its mailing list. I encourage you to avoid this establishment. While placing a phone order, I gave Flower Patch my email address so I could get a receipt of my purchase. Now, it sends to me spam every 2 or 3 days. I have asked Flower Patch to stop sending email to me, but it refuses to do so. After I told Flower Patch that I would start posting to social media unless it quit sending the emails, it responded with the following: "I will add a note to your info so we do not take any future orders from you." Isn't that funny? Somehow Flower Patch confuses "Please take me off your mailing list" with "I want to do business with you." Flower Patch has multiple locations. My experience was with the Bountiful store, but I worry that all locations abuse customers' email addresses. I encourage you to avoid the Flower Patch. read more

I never take time to write Yelp reviews but I had to in this case. My husband ordered me flowers as a surprise for my birthday. Since it was a surprise and I didn't know they were being delivered, they attempted to deliver them while I was not at home and left a note for me to call to get them delivered again. Apparently the window of time my husband selected was 2:00-6:00 p.m. for delivery. I must have missed them by just a few minutes because I was home for most of that time and returned from a quick errand at 5:00. When I got home I called right away (still inside the window of delivery time) I was told that they couldn't deliver them again until the next day AFTER MY BIRTHDAY. I asked if they could call the driver and ask them to come back to my house and was told no, even explaining it was my birthday and the next day sort of missed the point. This seems like the worst level of customer service, they give you a huge delivery window, don't call to say they are on their way, miss you and then can't circle back around on the same day. I think for a company that's in the business of special occasions, to totally miss the moment my husband was trying to create is unforgivable. We rescheduled for the flowers to be delivered the next night and they actually delivered them 20 minutes later than the window they'd promised (more bad customer service). This company doesn't care about customers at all, terrible customer service. Save your money and order from one of the many local florists who would have been more than capable and willing to ensure the flowers were delivered on the actual special occasion for which they were intended. read more

The rose bouquet and smaller arrangement that I picked up for my wife and daughter were absolutely gorgeous. I bought the flowers about a week ago and they look as though just picked them up yesterday. The attendant was kind, courteous, and a delight to speak with. I was sad when the downtown location closed, since that was the one that was closest to me. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I found this location close to our new home. 5 stars for product value and more importantly, customer service. read more

I am SO disappointed! I placed an order for my daughter and her prom dates corsage and buetinere. The gal who took the order was very nice and helped to customize the arrangements. I felt that she understood how important it was to me. Come to find out she was just filling in and actually works at a different location. I went to pick up the flowers and it was obvious that whoever made the arrangements didn't care. The edges of the rose petals are dead. There are dead leaves in the buetinere. The $40 corsage is tiny with barely any filler flowers and there is nothing custom about it. I am absolutely disgusted with the work that was done. It's my daughter's Junior Prom, a once in a lifetime event! Thanks for putting a damper on the affair Flower Patch! It's to late to get flowers from somewhere else but if I could, I would. I ordered a Valentine's Day arrangement for my wife for delivery at her office building. However, when the delivery arrived, she was away from her desk and thus the security person at the building reception desk could not immediately reach her. Rather than leave flowers with the security person at the reception desk, the delivery person took them back. It took me three phone calls to Flower Patch to sort through conflicting and confusing information to determine what had happened. I essentially paid $100 so my wife could pick up her own Valentine Day flowers at the Flower Patch store after work. I will not order from them again! read more

I want to start by saying all of the people I've worked with at Flower Patch have been SO nice...but I am extremely frustrated with the delivery process. I received an email saying my order could not be delivered because the recipient wasn't home. First of all, the flowers were sent to a business with a receptionist...second of all I called the person the flowers were supposed to be delivered to (ruining the surprise of receiving the flowers) and she was at the office the entire time. I called to express my frustration and I was told they couldn't guarantee the flowers would arrive before 5pm. I selected an early delivery for a reason, the recipient of the flowers leaves at 2pm. I am conflicted in writing this review. The flowers and customer service at the counter have always been top notch. I've gone to the flower patch for years for my flower needs. However, this week I attempted to use their delivery service for the first time. They did a late delivery and when they got to the recipient's place of work the office was closed. Flower Patch was delivering to a hospital in SLC. They called me to give me some options (which was great), I was told they could leave the flowers for the recipient and they would get them the next day or they could deliver them the following day. I double checked that if they left them there at night she would get them the following day and they confirmed she would. The next day rolls around and I did not have time to check on the flowers. Two days later I ask to see if she received the flowers and she said they never came. So one of two things happened either the Flower Patch did not actually deliver the flowers or if they did they left them in a place that was not secure. The arrangement I sent was not the biggest ever, but it was still a fair amount of money. If you use the delivery service I suggest you find some way to make sure the flowers actually go to where you want to them to be. I would give a 4 for the actual flowers, but a 1 for the delivery service. read more

I had called a little while back to get some help on placing an order for my son for a corsage. We were a little late on placing an order for it and that is why we needed some advice. The girl that had helped me over the phone had the worst customer service I have EVER experienced! If I remember correctly her name was Julia. Very rude and had a ton of attitude! I don't know why a good company such as Flower Patch would have someone like that working for them. I ended up just going to the location on 56th and two young ladies with dark hair and unique names I can't remember, helped me and were very kind and helpful. But since that lady over the phone had horrible customer service I'd have to give a one star. Hopefully something is fixed. read more

I have never been so disappointed!! I ordered flowers for a birthday to be delivered. When they were received they looked nothing like what I had ordered! I called and spoke with a manager and they told me they would re-deliver the next day before noon. I had given them a new delivery address because the recipient was leaving on vacation for 5 days. Noon came and went, when I called again they had delivered to the same address and not the new one!! I can say that what was supposed to be a great birthday surprise turned into a giant headache! I order two dozen roses for Valentine's Day. They never arrived. I called multiple times to ensure they would be there and each time they guaranteed they would be. They did not make it by 5pm when my wife left work and when I called I was on hold for 1.5 hours just for them to tell me they would deliver them the next day. I said I didn't want them after Valentine's Day and the employee acted like it was no big deal and said a lot of people were angry and didn't get there orders. I ordered online from the American Fork shop. The flowers that were delivered were not the professionally arranged flowers I ordered based on the picture at the website. The only similarity was in flower colors. The nice triangular design was not done and instead the flowers were just stacked one on top of the other. When I called to speak to customer service, I spoke with Julia who told me the arrangement was exactly as the picture at their website and there was nothing she could do to correct the issue. She repeatedly talked over me as I tried to explain the difference in stacking the flowers one on top of the other and creating a more appealing triangular shaped design.
