It's been a while since I cranked out a pro/con list, so let's attack this thing on both columns. First, Pros: Central location in the south part of the valley. Right in Sandy, along State Street. Spacious shop. Lots of cooler space. It's not just flowers. They sell cards, gifts, and other knick-knacks that you might want to pick up at flower-appropriate moments. Lots of parking. Nice staff that went digging for what I wanted. I'm 99% sure they deliver. Another 99% sure that they're an FTD shop. Cons: A wee bit pricey. Flowers aren't the cheapest proposition when it comes to bang for your buck anyways, but you'll spend a bit here. Although they did have a better deal on roses than other shops I've been to. All bets are off around the mother and lover holidays. Not much else around. Sort of a quiet section of State Street these days. Standard arrangements. Some pretty ones, some so-so. Nothing that blew me away. But you may put this in the Pro column, because they're a good, safe bet for a pretty arrangement. Turns out they didn't have everything I was looking for. The nice gal behind the counter was very accommodating and went looking for it, though. So big ups for working with me. They were willing to order it, but it would have taken a week. With my time crunch, it didn't work out. But I'd definitely come back and try again the next time I'm buying flowers. read more

DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM HERE!!! I received a birthday bouquet from my brother and everything was so unprofessional. The delivery was left without a knock, doorbell or phone text. The flowers were yellow and red and yet the florist used blue, pink and purple curling ribbon. They included a pale blue and pink balloon which further clashed with the bouquet. I bought flowers for my wife's and I anniversary along with chocolates and a teddy bear I have the driver a 25$ tip to make sure things would arrive on time and as a thank you for delivering them!! My wife had still yet to receive these flowers and items I feel like I've been stolen from and lied to I spoke to the lady in the shop around 5 said they should be dropped off by now or are on the way hours later still nothing I am very disappointed in this flower shop and will be in the store in the morning for a full refund and my tip back!!' read more

I came into the store around 1pm asked if I could have some flowers delivered to my wife for our anniversary said it was an emergency!! gave the driver a 25$ tip was told they would be delivered I called around 5pm to ask where the flowers were at!! was told they should have been delivered or are about to be delivered it is now after 6pm business is closed and the wife has still yet to receive her flowers her teddy bear or her chocolates!! am very upset and will be in the store first thing in the morning when they open wanting a full refund along with my tip!!! read more

I received flowers from this place last year after my husband passed away. The flowers were starting to wilt 1 day after I received them and completely wilted by day 5. But what was even worse than that was the English/grammer on the card! It said: "We are sorry for your lose. Their flowers die way too quick. I had to throw my roses away after two days. My boyfriend felt bad, so I finally called after the weekend, they said they couldn't do anything about it since it was past three days. I called because he wouldn't and I was upset because I got my mom some at Sams club the same day, for a fraction of the price, and they're still pretty and live. Feb 29th was our 59th. wedding anniversary. My husband has always remembered me by bringing me a beautiful flower bouquet. This year he had to order over the phone because he cannot drive anymore. He ordered a bouquet of Stargazer lilies from this company. We have never used this business before. He was asked if he wanted to add Baby's Breath for $10 more which he declined, he requested a deliver before 12 noon. He waited and the delivery didn't come so he called them and they told him they were late because they had to force the lilies to open! Finally around 2 PM they came. They were in a very small glass vase, and there were only 7 lilies but they had added a big bunch of Baby's Breath, there was more of that than lilies. The bill was just over $60.00! I have had a business account with wholesale flowers for years and know what flowers cost wholesale. This was outrageous, but that is not the worst, delivered on Friday, by Sunday they were half open and dying. The edges of the lilies were turning brown and curling up, I have had these flowers many times and never seen this happen, they usually last for over a week or two! I contacted them to give them a chance to make good on this but they completely ignored me. So my advice to you is to never order from them, go to Trader Joes, Costco or Sams Club and get a large beautiful bouquet for one fourth the cost of these and they will last for more than 3 days! read more

I had flowers sent to my mom for her birthday and when they sent me a picture of what she received....DISAPPOINTMENT.......it looked as if they just threw some flowers in a vase. When I called to talk to the manager (Gary) and very calmly let them know the flowers looked like crap, he became angry. I did not want them to send new flowers out or anything. I think if they can't do it right the first time then don't use them. There excuse was that they looked fine when the flowers left the store......NOT!!! They were terrific in getting me what I wanted, and their selection was the best I've seen in the valley. They have a new customer here, as I was really impressed. I have been to this shop many times and no not because I'm a flower person. I seem to find myself in bad situation and sending flowers are what I find as a nice guesture. I persoanlly have had nothing but help from Absolutely Flowers and the workers. They are always willing to help me find or make something I'm looking for within my price range. Also I seem to always need or want to buy my daughters or son or grandma that furry little animal that just goes perfect with what my intentions are, To show how much I care and think about them. I love this quaint little flowershop. My mom had a rough weekend and I thought that I would send her some flowers to brighten her day. I stopped into this flowershop about 830am because they open early, and it is on my way to work. I was amazed at the quality and artistically designed flower arrangments that are hand crafted by the designer. Now, I am a very picky person when it comes to my mom, and the staff were so patient with me and all my demands. I asked for specific flowers and colors and they were so accomidating with my every demand. When I got home tonight my mom had texted me a picture of the flowers and they were absolutely gorgeous she was so pleased with the beautiful flowers and I guess they were delivered before 11am. I am impressed with the quality, quanity and quickness that Absolutely Flowers has shown to me and my mom. I will definatly use you in the future. read more

I received flowers for my birthday. I believe my friend used FTD which farmed it out to Absolutely Flowers. The flowers themselves were pretty. The ribbon and balloons were hideous. The ribbon did not match the flowers at all. The balloons were ugly as well and while I realize you can't match everything's perfectly, you should at least try and compliment somehow and make the ribbons holding the balloons match. Or if all else fails, use white! The flowers were lime green, orangey yellow roses and dark blood red carnations. Sounds weird but looked nice. The vase matched but the ribbon was lime green, yellow and hot pink. The curly ribbon holding the balloons were orange and navy blue. And the balloons were burgundy and teal. ???? I know I sound harsh but flowers are extraordinarily expensive as it is. I did not complain to my friend but she wanted a picture. I sent her one and she was like - that's nothing like the picture! read more
