I've tried twice to get a response from the owners without a simple reply. My first visit, the tip request was a total turn off because I wasn't helped, I was rung up. But I tipped. The second time in I was overcharged. By quite a bit. I haven't been able to go in because I work during their hours of operation and it's not nearby. Dear Bead Fairy Team, I'm reaching out regarding a recent purchase I made at your store on May 22, 2025, where I was accidentally overcharged for one of the items. Specifically, I was charged $30.05 for a single tube of size 6/8/11/15 seed beads, which was clearly marked in-store as $3.75. I've attached the following items for your review: * A photo of the receipt showing the $30.05 charge * A photo of the bead tube with the $3.75 price tag * A photo of all items purchased, confirming no other item aligns with the $30.05 charge It seems this was a simple cashier error. I noticed the discrepancy shortly after leaving the store and tried to return immediately, but the shop had already closed. Friendly service, very knowledgeable, and eager to help. On their app, for your birthday, they send you a 20% off and give you a gift. They have a huge basket of bracelets you get to choose from. I have to say, it made me feel special to not only receive a gift but to choose my own. Not many places acknowledge our birthdays anymore. This was a nice touch. I live in Provo attending BYU. Recently I wished to purchase some sort of bracelet for my girlfriend, and I came across this place on google. I decided to check it out and made the drive to Sandy. I made the right decision. The store is clean, organized, and effective. The staff on hand happily helped to create a beautiful custom bracelet that means so much. She could not have been more helpful. The price was much lower than I expected! She spent about an hour creating a custom engraved bracelet.. then tried to only charge me $8.17! Overall, I would highly recommend this place for all your bead needs. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but honestly this place made my day. Thank you so much! read more

The store is so well organized, it is easy to find exactly the colors and fittings one needs to make any project a fun & successful experience. Next time I am in Utah, I'll be returning to see Lori Jade & Megan Tilman - both are without exception the very best at helping and sharing their expertise with their customers. If a customer is not able to stay and assemble their own work of art, they will complete and/or assemble it for them for a very reasonable charge. This store has beautiful things. I wanted to purchase a pretty necklace or stone for my 7-year old daughter, who had been to the dentist that earlier that day, and had two teeth pulled out. She was very brave, and I thought that the "tooth fairy" should bring her something extra special. I showed up to The Bead Fairy store a few minutes after they had already closed shop. But, they gladly opened the door for me, and helped me find something awesome and inexpensive for my daughter! I am forever grateful for their kindness and awesome customer service. They helped me make a lovely necklace for my mom but only had one charm with a sheriff star I could use (my mom is married to a sheriff) and it was the last one.. They called the store owner who said I could have it but then changed his mind and said I couldn't and they would call me when they ordered more. That was about three weeks ago and Mother's Day was yesterday. She didn't get the necklace and I still haven't gotten a call. I followed up with them and they said the owner is sick and will just get back to me when he is well again... I am not keeping my fingers crossed! read more

I love this place because they don't rip you off like the big stores by requiring you to buy in bulk more parts than you need. They sell jewelry parts by the piece so you can buy just two earring posts, one necklace clasp, etc. They also carry hypoallergenic metals which is what initially brought me into the store (I had one or two earring backs I needed to switch out). They are also incredibly nice, helpful, and accommodating. I can't tell you how many times I've taken in a broken piece of jewelry (usually earring backs) and they have helped me repair it for free or at a very low cost. Fine jewelers will not repair costume jewelry so the Bead Fairy is the only place I've found that will. I've also walked in with an idea of a piece I want to create and they've spent the time helping me find the parts I need. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will call other shops and make recommendations for places to look. And to top it all off they just have really cool and interesting stuff that you don't find in other stores! read more
