This place is hopping for a rainy weekday night. Highly suggest making reservations. You pay a $10 fee per adult and then the price of the ceramic you paint & there's a lot of variety and price ranges to choose from. You have 2 hours to complete but if you're a later appointment time they give you until closing. Because they suggest putting on 3 to 4 layers it takes more time than you think. We went for a birthday party for my wife. It was a lot of fun. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We were a group of 9 of us so we reserved a head of time and glad we did because there was quite a few groups there. We got to select our pieces and then we got to paint for as long as we needed. They had a huge assortment available to paint. They gave us some basic instructions and let us get going. I told the woman at the desk that it was my wife and SIL birthday and she gave us half price entry for them. It was a lot of fun. 10 days later we walked in, gave them our name of the party and we collected our pieces. They were really cool! Great place, staff, and activity. Today was our first visit to Color Me Mine...and what an excellent experience we had!! The staff who helped us (sorry can't remember her name) was super nice, & explained us everything. Regular admission for adults are $10 and for kids $6...but as we went on the Pajama Night it was only $2 for each person. Such a fun date night!! My husband and I went to color me mine on Friday night. We called a week before and scheduled it. So when we showed up they had my name (well an attempt at my name.... Spelled "doordash" with a J) on our table. I was coming from a work conference so I got there a little late and they let us stay longer in order to finish. My husband painted a sugar skull and I made a happy birthday plate we can use to celebrate birthdays with! They had so many options as far as what you could paint. I was tempted to do a little sunshine planter that was super cute as well but focused on my plate instead. You pay a studio fee of $10 per person and then pay the price of whatever you paint so depending on that it could get expensive. They had lots of paints, stencils, stickers and other items to use to decorate your piece with. After we were done we checked out and they let us know we would be able to pick up our pieces in a weeks time. read more

Let's paint! That's what we do when kids want to have a friend over. The location is in the middle of Draper Peaks, and there is plenty of parking. The staff is so helpful and friendly! Since this was our first visit to Color Me Mine, we didn't know the process or expectations. If you are planning to go on a Saturday, I would recommend an appointment. There were adults and kids everywhere. Once you pick your item to paint, then you are off to the color wheel. They are some brilliant colors and even some paint with sparkles. Also look for the "foam" colors. My only disappointment was you have to wait a week to pick up your painted item. If you ask the kids, they enjoyed the painted part and was hoping to take it home that day. Thank you for a good experience! read more

Went to pick up my pieces today and when I got to the car, I noticed one of them was missing. So I went back in and they couldn't find it. I asked them if it was broken and they said no m, it's probably in the kiln still, I said, why would you tell me my orders done and ready if not on my pieces are there and if you marked on my order that it was done, how are you going to know to even get my other piece to me? We happen to walk up to the front of the counter and I noticed my piece was there broken, I picked it up and said this is my teeth and it's broken. They were trying to re-create it and I told them I didn't want the re-created piece because I didn't paint it. I asked for a refund and they were only going to refund the piece not the time I spent and the money spent to actually paint it when I'm not even getting the piece because they broke it. After 15 minutes, they couldn't even refund me anything, and I had to walk out the door, trusting that they'll still refund it to me when they weren't even honest about them, breaking my piece to begin with. read more

Employees could me a little more welcoming but that doesn't put too much of a damper on how much fun you'll have painting one of their MANY ceramic pieces. They definitely have a good amount of pieces to choose from. The only problem I had was some of the paints weren't in the right spot and one group would take the whole paint jar so then no one could use it. Also some of the pieces are missing prices on them so you have to ask or just wait til it's time to check out to find out. They do get your pieces back to you in a really good amount of time though! I have frequented this wonderful place many times. Recently I came in with my niece for her birthday. She was so excited to come to Color Me Mine. This was her first time there. Sadly it was a very disappointing visit as we were ignored and treated rudely by an employee who felt it more important to be on her phone and chatting with friends than assisting customers. I'd actually like to give 3.5 stars, but because I can't, I rounded up. I do love the concept behind Color Me Mine, and it's always a hit with the kids, but it is really hard to swallow the prices. We visited today and I had a LivingSocial deal that covered the sitting fees for up to 5 people. We still walked out of there spending over $60 just on the ceramics. I swear the prices have doubled! Unless you want a napkin ring ($4.50), you will spend a minimum of $10 on a piece, but what your kids will really want--you know, the super cool dragon or ginormous piggy bank--will run you close to $20. The staff is really helpful and keeps your paint stocked. And I love avoiding cleanup for sure. Just wish it was a bit more affordable! read more

Of all of the Color Me Mine's I've been to, this is the best one! Good parking, easy to get to, and the employees are really helpful! There's a good selection of items to paint in all price ranges. Their easy-to-navigate website​ makes it easy to see the different promotions each month - and the standing 2 for Tuesday can't be beat! Reserved for my twins' birthday party on Saturday. Came with a party of 15. Upon arrival the girl behind the counter was extremely unhelpful and had absolutely no personality, extremely unfriendly. Told us the room was in the back and to go there. Never once helped or asked us if we needed help. We had to figure out what to do and where to get things on our own. The only time she came in was to tell us we were not allowed to have the bottles of paint in the room and to put them back. And to collect the amount due. I would highly recommend going somewhere else for any party. This is not the place!! Oh and she wasn't happy when we didn't tip. My tip, find a new job. read more

Took my seven year old son in, he was so excited to get to make his own piggy bank. We walked in at 7:30 and they told us it was to late for him to paint because they close at 9. Staff was very rude about it as well and tried to justify it by saying that they had a group that didn't show up on time and they were going to turn them away as well. I absolutely love this place and working for this company. I have been here for two years now and going to collage for a art degree. Color me mine has truly made me realize that art is what I want to do as my career. I started in draper and love it and all my coworkers. They are so helpful and sweet as always. I have moved to the salt lake location. I love how my bosses work with me when I moved away from draper and around my sons schedule and now my collage schedule. I also now have four special needs clients that come see me and I am able to work with them using art. Color me mine has great prices and great deals through out the months to make the price cheaper. Amazing been doing this for years!!! I have been going to color me mine for the last 10 years now. My family's tradition started as my dad taking us on dates for our birthdays then it changed to us start decorating ornaments in 2009. It has been a joy every year to go and create whatever you want from there or choose an ornament that was premade characters and decorate it whatever way you want. We always have a good time going in every November/December. Every year around this time Color me mine have discounted nights anything from paint in your pajamas or the couples date night they are discounted by charging no studio fee which is only about 15 dollars per adult. Every time we as a family goes it brings great customer service, they are kind and very accommodating for a bigger family. They are always clean when we get there even if they are super crazy. Pricing is fair but could be displayed better it still brings so many people and their families to the establishment. Every piece of art we have is great beautifully made we have never found a broken piece of art. They are simply beautiful some are so simple but so elegant in their ways and they give you examples of what people have done with their art. There are a few things they could improve the number one would be their reservations, they have now moved to a bigger space so they can accommodate more people and finally allow a few walk-ins. The second thing I would improve would be the amount of art they put into their kilns because a few years ago my dad, unfortunately, lost one of his ornaments to the kiln but as soon as they found out it was broken they gave my dad a free ornament and a time to come and do it before Christmas, again another reason their customer service was amazing. They are some fun entertainment we get to do every year and will continue forever. read more

My kids and I came in to make a Mother's Day gift for my wife. I never received a call that my work was finished so I came in about a month and a half after making the piece (today) wondering where it was. Turns out they input my number wrong in the computer therefore unable to make contact with me and donated a PRICELESS item!
