It's my birthday and I was looking forward to coming here and painting after work. Yelp and google show they close at 9pm. We got off work at 6pm and thought we had plenty of time to show up and paint. We showed up at 6:10pm and we were told they close at 8pm and they stop taking painters 2 hours before closing. Update the hours online to avoid disappointing paying customers. read more

The hours are wrong! They stop taking people to paint two hours before they close. So if you plan on being there any later than 6pm don't waste your time. Would be nice if that was posted somewhere before you drive all the way there and pay for parking. read more

We have been here a couple of times and it is a fun activity for the kids. Actually, to be honest I enjoy painting my projects as well. My first time I did a bowl that was quite large and I use it often. This time I painted a cup to go with the my bowl! We usually take about two hours to finish our projects. The staff we interacted with were really nice and helped with any questions we had. There are probably 30 to 40 different color options. There are plenty of different types of brushes, colors, and other supplies to keep you busy for the two hours there. The process is pretty simple you choose the blank pottery, give the tag to the person, then go and start painting. When you are done you just leave everything on the table and they clean up after you and take care of your finished projects. One week later and you can pick up your project. There are Studio fees which of course will pay for the paint and other supplies. Check their website because normally they have specials every day. For example we went on Monday and they had $20 for a family of 6. read more

Updated review. Went from 2 stars to one, but just for this location. I really do love Color me mine. It's a lot of fun and a unique thing to do in Utah. Great for date night or kids parties. But the customer service at the Ogden location is extremely lacking and just plain disrespectful. After a terrible experience a second time, we just won't be back. Also, apparently they are discontinuing their Star Wars ceramics too so that's no good either. read more

Had my daughters birthday party here and had a fantastic time. Great service and there was so many options for the kids to paint!

I had a great time painting but a few things rubbed me the wrong way. First, I called 2 days in advance of me coming in and asked for a reservation. The gal on the phone said that they don't accept reservations for parties smaller than 8. Then upon my arrival I had to wait for 45 minutes for a table. I feel that they should take reservations for all parties. Second, you have to pay a studio fee for every single piece you paint, not just per person which is not how it used to be. Third, they didn't accept American Express which is an issue if this is the only form of payment you have. They should at least post this information somewhere. Fourth, the workers were not overly kind or helpful. It took a long time for them to refill materials and they overall had a bit of an attitude. They also spent the whole time socializing with their friends that had come into the shop to paint. Otherwise the store was clean and had great music playing. read more

Poor service. Told to pick our items, and then we were seated (at a very wobbly table - not cool for a painting place). The girl literally never said another word to us after we sat down. No instructions at all. We asked the table next to us about how the place worked. The employees stood in the back and chatted the whole time. When we went up to pay and she asked our name, and I told her nobody asked us for our info when we walked in, she finally realized that she had forgotten/ignored us. I could tell she was embarrassed at that point. But still, no apology for the poor service she gave. read more

I have a medical exemption and cannot wear a mask, which I told the woman, despite that I was told that I needed to wear one while walking around but not at the table. When someone says they cannot wear a mask that doesn't mean that sometimes they can. Considering the fact that there is no longer a mandate in this county this is now just a discriminatory policy, even with the mandate there is something called a MEDICAL EXEMPTION. Been here a couple times and had a great time in fact I told my family and friends about this place but recently went in we were treated like garbage by a young girl that was running the store. She had another lady there that was helping and then once that lady left the building it was straight cold shoulder from her. It was difficult to get her attention for more paint, constantly on her phone, she then had random guy come into the store and walk right through everyone with no mask on after immediately telling us the a mask was required. She made it a really uncomfortable environment. Too bad as I liked this place before there was a judgement type atmosphere. read more

I really like this place for a get together with girlfriends or a night out with my husband. My most recent visit was for a bachelorette party, and we had so much fun! The staff are friendly and helpful, it's a fun atmosphere. read more

I had the absolute WORST experience tonight at the Ogden, Utah facility. Long story short, there was a miscommunication between staff members. One staff member informed my friend that she had a 32 dollar credit due to a broken piece she had previously made. After we had started painting, the "owner" retracted the credit and informed us the credit was only 14 dollars. Which would have been fine if this was mentioned prior to us starting to work on the 32 dollar product. The disrespect and lack of professionalism in this situation was unacceptable. The owner and a staff member acted very childish. The owner was shouting across the room at us rather than sitting at our table or calling us to the desk to talk about the situation, she called us unethical for expecting 32 dollars, she would not listen to our side of the story, her employee was a sassy teenaged girl who needs to learn how to treat a customer and to not roll her eyes or back talk. There was even a point when the "owner" walked away in the middle of the conversation without any type of resolution regarding the situation. All of the staff went to the back of the room, and we could clearly hear them talking badly about us. The owner finally decided to give my friend her full credit she was promised at the beginning of the visit, only after we had mentioned that we will be contacting the corporate office. I have loved color me mine in the past, but this experience was such a bad one that I will no longer be giving color me mine my business. In fact, I will be relaying this experience to anyone that may bring the topic of color me mine to my attention. I suggest investing in a customer service training sometime in the near future. I wish you luck in educating and bettering your staff in the area of professionalism. read more

I called to make sure what time they close, I was told 9pm. I got there around 7:45isn and they told me they aren't taking anymore painter for tonight. I don't understand why he couldn't tell me that they stop taking painter at 7:30, when we were on the phone. Instead I drove all the way from Clearfield to drive home empty handed. Not to mention it was my husband birthday, and we were hoping to do something fun. read more

Fun family adventure with colors, pick your projects with lots of choices, mugs, plates, fairytales homes, of course if your feeling bold and like scary, I go for the skulls, caskets and more. So much to see. I love this place for something new to do. Seasonal projects as well. read more

This was a fun experience for the kids, but wow is it way over priced. Because of the price I don't think we will ever be back. If it was 1/2 the price we would come back often, my kids really liked being able to pick the item and making it their own with all of the paints. We painted 4 items and it cost over $110.00. Lower the price and we will be back. read more

I am in disbelief. I made a party appt for my kids Summer camp at 10am. The owner made the appt for 10am so that we would have the whole place to ourself. We showed up at 10am and waited and waited. No one showed up. I called at 11am and the girl was super snooty right away, and instead of apologizing and making a new appt for us she continued to telling me they open at 11am and wouldn't have made an appt at 10am. I asked for the manager and she rudely said that the manager isn't in. So I called the next day. Apparently the owner made the appt but forgot. I understand it happens. So I asked if we made another appt would there be a discount and she said no. Wow. Ok ya, I won't be making another appt for my summer camps anymore. Make sure when you make an appt call and confirm that someone will be there or make it for when the hours are because they'll probably forgot and your day will be all messed up. Had a terrible experience with the owner. Because of a broken piece during firing, we were given a credit for the project and was told that we could exchange it at anytime. Went in later and the owner refused to honor what was previously agreed upon. Shady business practices from the owner. I will never go back and will not recommend this to anyone. read more

Love this place. It is a little pricey, but they run a lot of coupons/specials. Very addicting, great gifts.
