My husband and I moved to California 2 years ago and we continue to only go to Diamond's for any of our jewelry needs! Eric and Diane are absolutely amazing! Every time we visit we leave feeling like we are life long friends. Eric custom made my engagement ring, and Diane and Eric both helped me pick out my wedding bands. I feel like I have something so unique and special, no matter the time that passes, I am so in love with my rings! Our most recent trip we were in a time crunch and Eric dropped everything in his afternoon to get my ring resized and soldered together before I had to get on a plane the next morning. It turned out absolutely flawless, I love it! read more

This place doesn't adhere to their posted hours, just be warned. I've shown up twice to locked doors during their open hours. First time I figured was a fluke, but the same thing a couple mos later. I won't be trying this place again. read more

Words cannot express how excellent my experience collaborating with Dianna on my latest jewelry purchase was. I've had experiences with other jewelry stores where their only concern was making the commission at the end of the transaction. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured with my purchase from Diamonds Custom Jewelers. I am still determining who is more excited about designing the necklace: Dianna or I. 10/10 will be a repeat customer. read more

I was just so sad that I had lost my custom gold wedding band. I stopped by the Highland Drive Diamond's Custom Jewelers location on a whim and immediately I knew I was in the right place. Diane was so happy to see me and couldn't wait to get started on making a duplicate ring for me. She listened very well and you can tell that quality and customer satisfaction is the reason she is in the business. She has something for everyone and if you don't see it at first, she will help you find what you need. She prides herself on doing the best job possible every day and is inclusive. Diane created a very memorable experience for me that will last a lifetime. She gave me ideas of how I could add to my ring set or make duplicates of my ring to give to my children. I am not a material type person, but the inscription in my wedding ring is "On this day and always" and has our initials and wedding date". This is a constant in my life. It was lost but Diane and her team found a way to give me more than I ever expected. She not only knows what to treasure, but she herself is a treasure. I will be back! read more

My partner and I walked into diamonds looking for a ring as close to what I had envisioned in my head, and though the rings there were beautiful none were what I was dreaming of, and they quickly brought up the fact they could whip me up a custom made ring in just a few weeks. They drew it up right then and there, and even gave me the confidence to go with rose gold (which I was talking myself out of because it didn't seem traditional enough). We talked size, diamond cut, every little detail and not once did me or my partner feel pressured to make the purchase, to go out of our budget, or really anything at all! They were just amazing. We fully trusted them and decided to pull the trigger. And now 3.5 years later I am still in love with my custom engagement ring. They clean it for me any time I pop in, and I even just had to get it resized no problem. Plus they made me a custom necklace that is stunning and I wish I had a picture of, as I needed something for my low back dress and had a very specific style in mind. They are amazing and have so far bought 2 custom pieces from them, and 3 other pieces. Even my mother in law is getting a custom ring done right now! read more

Diamonds Custom Jewelers - Jewelry Near Me - Holladay, Utah

The best experience. About me...Definition of hopeless romantic, slight OCD perfectionist, and a sucker for a good story. My Story: When I knew I was going to propose, I wanted to give myself all the time in the world to find the perfect ring and had little direction. The girl I was going to propose to, wore no jewelry for the exception of a necklace I had purchased 6-7 months prior. That necklace...took about two months for me to find and I knew THE ring would be much more difficult challenge. I had an image in mind of a classic three stone ring with a vintage'esk style to it. Had to be simple and elegant without being overly ornate. 18K white gold. One of a kind. Every detail MUST be symmetrical and would spare no expense on detail. I didn't just want to buy "a" ring. I wanted to enjoy an experience working with someone to make "the" ring. I scoured the Salt Lake valley. Countless stops at jewelers off state. Made rounds through every store in three or four malls. Only to be met with "used car salesman" mentality staff focused on their commission. Or by sales people that were too quick to assume what I could and couldn't afford... Me: "Oh, this isn't quite what I am looking for...may I look at the cabinet over there?" Them: "No. No need, those are more expensive." I was met with a lack of creativity and by jewelers hiding in the back behind a vanguard of sales associates. After five to six months, even though I wasn't in a hurry, I was starting to feel discouraged. Venting at work about my struggles, a co-worker recommended Diamonds and gave me their business card. I hadn't heard of Diamonds. Hadn't seen any advertisements through my countless hours online. I called them up after work asked about their hours and with luck, they said they'd be working late and to stop on by and was assured I wouldn't be imposing. (already blown away) PEOPLE! If you are looking for one genuinely personable and legitimate ma and pa jewelry store...this is it. Eric and Diane were PERFECT. I spent a good hour discussing my vision with Eric. We made the rounds around his shop while he showed me only RELEVANT pieces. We discussed jewelry based off taste and design, cost was never a factor. I brought in dozens of pictures of ring designs and what I liked and disliked... Not once pushed for a sale. I went on to visit their shop several times throughout the several weeks piecing the perfect wedding band together. Many times after hours and never rushed. Eric was always happy to explain "the process" or the science behind the stones and the metals which made the experience even more fun! He matched the 18K band with a custom 18K white gold crown, the perfect center diamond, and purple diamonds on each side. The stones were mounted with perfection. Through all the fun, I also purchased a pair of pink/raspberry diamond earrings. My, now , fiancé and I couldn't be happier. We went back to have a completely custom wedding band made for me to match and I cannot wait to see the final results. If you go to Diamonds Custom Jewelry you will be met with honesty, respect, creativity, high quality pieces, and a professional low stress atmosphere. Eric and Diane are an absolute pleasure to work with. I will be customer for life and cannot recommend them highly enough. Go to Diamonds for any jewelry needs. You will not leave disappointed. read more

We used to live in Holladay for thirty years but recently moved up to Park City. I never really noticed this place until today and wish I had! I was "in the city" in search of a place that could fix my necklace. It was fifteen minutes to closing time. After explaining what I needed, the woman who answered said, "Sure! Come on in!". I was shocked. I really didn't want to have to come back down to SLC to pick it up! Not only did her husband the jeweler fix it for me, they both helped me pick out a better chain which I really needed (grandkids would've broken the other one with one tug). They were so friendly, no pressure to buy anything. He even put two left over pearls on pretty silver earring wires so they would match my new fixed necklace! For free! Who does that? So YES!!! I highly recommend this jeweler! read more

Had another great experience at Diamond's Custom Jewelers. Had a ring sized, a necklace remodeled and significant repairs made to a bracelet. I am delighted with all three, and I enjoyed my interaction with the very professional owners - Eric and Diane. Eric is the perfect combination -- a perfectionist who is practical. He spent extra time on being sure my bracelet was really done right. With another bracelet, he shared his thought that it probably isn't worth investing more money in endless repairs, and he was right. I appreciate the practical approach, and I appreciate that he will get as close to perfection as possible when it is worth the customer's investment. It is always an enjoyable experience. read more

From the first conversation with the owners, I was thoroughly impressed. They were very honest, easy going, and didn't give me the "car-salesman-approach". Eric and his wife took the time to get to know my husband and I on a friendly level, which put my husband at ease (he thought all jewelry salesmen were scamming, until he met Eric). We were there for 1.5 hours talking, and they didn't seem to mind. They were honest, professional, knowledgeable and very personable. In the end, they made me a jewelry piece that I absolutely love and I get compliments all the time! I have since had them make other pieces, and their customer service has met and exceeded my expectations. You won't be disappointed by this family run business who aim to please their customers! Stop by for a visit! (P.S. the shiny car out front is beautiful! It is a conversation piece and a land mark. If people would only take the time to go inside and talk with the owners, then people would know they are the most down-to-earth people!) read more
