Update - June 11, 2026 Leaving my original review below for reference, but I have to say that I think the company is coming back on track. They contacted me last week and we set up the appointment which occurred yesterday. Lights are fully functional and they replaced the transformer with an updated version. Everything is operational and back to how it should be. Hopefully for those of you waiting, service can be performed sooner rather than later. Updating my review back to five stars. Hopefully it holds as long as service and warranty support are operational. Installed lights about two years ago. From the very beginning, issues with synchronizing lights, using phone and app. Several months later ultimately identified as the control box which needed to be replaced. The service manager for my area was fantastic. Admitted to me that multiple sections of the lights were installed incorrectly, but luckily he could fix them. Intermittent issues with lights since then, but they were repaired relatively quickly. read more

I spent over $5,000 on this system and have been extremely disappointed with the company's customer service and support. When issues arise, repairs can take 6-8 weeks, which is completely unacceptable for a product at this price point. It is nearly impossible to speak with an actual person unless you have a very basic support question. For more serious problems, you're left waiting with little communication and no meaningful assistance. The product itself may look appealing, but the lack of responsive customer service and excessive repair delays make it difficult to justify the investment. There are many other companies offering similar products, and based on my experience, I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead. I have had several issues with our lights over the past 3 years and support from the company is impossible. I've solved several problems by myself, but right now my lights are not working again and 3 submissions to their support page, 1 txt, and 2 emails and I cannot get anyone to respond. When they work, they work ok. The app is super frustrating and inflexible, but you get used to it and make the most of it, but when they're not working you are ON YOUR OWN. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO WITH ANY OTHER LIGHTING COMPANY. We have had nothing but trouble since the install. Our longest stretch of "no problem service" is 3 months from April 2026 until today July 3rd 2026 and still UNRESOLVED! We currently have no lights thanks to lousy Customer service for the whole Fourth of July week! Sad we can't even celebrate our country's 250th anniversary with our $7,000 lighting system that we've had since November 2024. Customer Service gives you the run around and doesn't call back when they commit to return a call with answers! it is really annoying to spend my money on things that are unnecessary to line somebody else's pockets and get nothing back in return! Customer service means everything to us! After redoing my whole Wi-Fi system to accommodate the Lights, which was several hundred dollars and a few companies coming by to help me figure it all out I am now told by EverLights Customer service people that I must make a new account. Apparently my three year-old account is having some problems. What's up with that?!!! in an attempt to make a new account and or change my password, I'm getting these goofy loops that only allow you to set up your email for their newsletter which I really don't give a darn to receive because I'm going to call another company out to see what they can do about switching out these lights! Where do I start. Never ever have this product installed. They work off and on over the last couple years I've had them, and now my lights haven't worked at all for 6 plus months. Local installer was great to come out and service the product, but now isn't with the company. I have left numerous text messages when they initially claimed to have me start looking at correcting my problem. Now it's been crickets for 6 weeks or more. I have left at least 6 voicemails on their customer service line and not a single call back. I am stuck with lights under warranty but no one contacts me from their company to get fixed. BIG ON SALE. NOT ON SERVICE. Had the lights for 4 months and they are not working. Called customer service on Day 1 (and sent a corresponding text to the same support number). 24 hours later...not a word. Another VM on day 3. It is Day 6 and I have still not heard a WORD. Not a "we are busy, set an appointment, nope. NOTHING." We tried everything on their troubleshooting website BEFORE calling too (and left the VM about that). We originally had Everlights installed on my home in 2021, initial sales and install went great and service for the first year or so was great. I am having issues and their customer service doesn't answer, if they call back its days or weeks and they can't even give you a timeline on when a tech will be out to do the repair. This is beyond frustrating. I actually felt that Everlights was the premier permanent lighting solution when I chose them in 2021. After this experience with the customer service I would not go with Everlights again if I had a chance to do it over. I wills say, the tech that has been out has done a great job, but its just getting the customer service folks to schedule the tech that seems to be the issue. read more

I have these lights for about 1-1/2 year. They are Garbage!!!! They work about 60% of the time, It takes the service rep 1-2 weeks or longer to repair them! Contacted Everlights, they informed me that it is not their problem, it is the subcontractor responsibility!!! It's no his fault he was supplied with sub standard equipment!!!! I reviewed Everlights a couple of years ago. I actually wrote two: one slammed them for a product that didn't work well; the second was praise after they got it together. After a couple of years, it just doesn't work AGAIN! I have looked at other reviews. This review reflects many others. Our start about three years ago was a little rough, but we got it figured out. I even referred two neighbors. Now, I can't modify the lights. They just do random stuff. I've sent emails and called Customer Support. As someone else said, "crickets!" Finally, I learned today that they will address my problem "within a few weeks!" How's that for great customer service! They're backed up because their system is faulty and they can't (won't) respond in a timely manner. I told them that I'm going to have a banner made for my lawn that says, "Don't buy permanent lighting from Everlights - they're faulty!" As others have mentioned, if you want permanent lights, shop around. There has to be a better company with real customer support. I have been reviewing feedback concerning this company and its lighting products. My experience with customer service has been unsatisfactory, and the lighting units have consistently malfunctioned, presenting ongoing issues. Despite approximately six service visits, the problems persist, and I have been attempting to contact customer support since July 6th. We recently had everlights install lights on to our house and we couldn't be happier. Not only was Jakob and Jay very pleasant they worked through the rain and bad weather to make sure it gone done the same day. The range and ability of what these lights can do through the app is amazing. We are so excited for every holiday going forward being able to adjust our lights for any and all occasions. When we first had Everlights installed the customer support was great. We have had issues with the product not working but always had prompt service. That is no longer the case. My lights have not worked for two months. I can't order an event because when I try to SAVE, it says I need to select a zone. I only have one zone but nothing is listed on the app. And then about a week ago my lights went on by themselves with nothing ordered on the app. Some of the lights didn't light, some were in a pattern, while others were random colors. I had to unplug everything to get them to shut off. AI tried to trouble shoot my problem but after following its directions with no success I asked to speak to a person. I cannot speak to a person and I can't get anyone to answer my calls after leaving multiple messages. I would love to get some help! read more

Just got these installed and we are SO happy! Dalton did a great job walking me through the process and getting me financed. Stan from Ambian Solar installed them. He was professional and never gave up when faced with obstacles. They did a fabulous job matching the trim colors of our house. Everything looks great and works well so far. It's been so fun coming up with our color scheme for baseball, hockey, football and Halloween. And the best part? No more ladders and tangled lights around the holidays. Buyer Beware!!!! Everlights were sold to me as being "Permanent Holiday Lighting" Great deal right? You will never have to deal with your lights again! Thats the sales pitch. Now just 6 years after installation its time for my roof to be replaced, and every roofer that quotes my house says, "oh no....sorry, you have Everlights. They install them in drip edge so when we replace your roof, the drip edge gets torn down and replaced, so you will have to have them take down your lights and then pay to have them re-installed". Im thinking, "no way, Everlights wouldnt do that to their customers would they???" Oh you bet your sweet butt they would and will do that to you!! "Sorry sir, our 'front facing' lights have to be installed in the drip edge, we will cut the lines and after the roof is replaced yo u will need to pay us to put them right back up in the NEW drip edge!" So in 20 yrs I can pay to have it done again? This is why other companies install their lights under the soffit, so its actually PERMANENT! Watch out, unless you want to keep paying for these lights everytime you have maintenance done your roof!!! read more

Everlights has been one of the worst experiences that I have had from both a product and service standpoint. We spent over $12k on our lights. Currently we have been on over a two month wait for them to get to us for service. We have about 12 total lights that come on, and it's embarrassing to see this at night. Would give zero stars if I could. System only worked for one season. Now intermittent lights come on randomly. (One here...two there) App does not respond, so we can not even shut off the system. Had them come out to "fix" and tech talked about shoddy install job. Even after he replaced some sections, still did not work. After several years of complaining to them, finally got a response and they will replace system with a "discounted" cost of $9500. Disappointed this company is still allowed to do business in Utah. Worst investment I have ever made. Heed the other one star reviews. We purchased lights for approximately $10,000 last fall, 2026. We have yet to try to use our lights without a problem. Each time (BYU Utah Game, Halloween, Christmas, Daughter returning form her mission, Independence Day), they have not worked. We are also never able to contact them. They don't answer their phones or respond to emails, texts. The only way I have had someone come out and fix them is by stopping into their office. The lights were installed on an outlet that does not have enough power to cover the lights (seems like a problem that should be avoided with installer direction 101). We installed lights for ease and it has been the exact opposite. Very frustrating. read more

I would give ZERO starts if I could. Everlights is the worst company that provides permanent lighting. We bought the product from a traveling salesperson and I deeply, deeply regret it. Our lights worked for about 5 months. Now? The bridge won't connect. It hasn't connected to my network since March of 2026. I have tried now for almost 4 months to get a hold of them and it's like they are a ghost company. They don't respond to any support requests other than a random text which you cannot even reply to. They are complete garbage. I am starting to wonder if they are even a real company out of UT. I did contact our salesperson via cell phone and he told me he no longer works for the company. He also said that when we needed to do repairs or needed help from HQ, he would have to camp out on the lawn of the building and basically sneak in behind someone with a badge because he wasn't able to go in and get the materials he needed for installs. I did get ahold of sales and oh boy they responded quick and told us they would fix our problem and escalate the issue with support. That was a month ago. Nothing, no reply, no follow up. We have referred them to many friends and clients, and we are bummed that we did. 0/10 go buy Jellyfish or something alike. Steer clear of Everlights. read more

We were told that these would be the best quality lights and they would keep working for 30 years. First, the bridge stopped allowing us to make changes. Then, the lights stopped working entirely. Everlights has terrible customer service. We had a $35,000 project installed on our property in Alpine 2 years ago. Our lighting system has not worked consistently for the 2 years since installation, and Everlights has never addressed the problem after innumerable requests for service. In fact, we haven't been able to talk to a real person or get a response from Everlights. We are now left to engage legal counsel and pursue litigation to try to resolve the issue of a workable lighting system. read more

The first year was fine; however ever year after there is always some issue with the lights. I always have to call Support and spend money to have someone come to my home and repair them. Deeply Regret Choosing Everlights I strongly advise anyone considering Everlights to think twice. Our experience with Everlights started out promising--quick response, a fast full-home quote, and a salesperson who was attentive and flexible. We were genuinely impressed and excited. That feeling didn't last. We were told someone would call to get us on the schedule. Two weeks later--crickets. We reached out, and our salesperson tried to help, but even he couldn't confirm when our install would happen. Eventually, he got us a date. Install day comes... and no one shows up. Worse? When we called the company, they had no idea who we were. We had paid a significant deposit, yet somehow, we didn't exist in their system. How does that happen? We chased them for days, getting the runaround from people who couldn't (or wouldn't) help. Only after our salesperson gave us personal cell numbers for a few higher-ups did things finally move forward. The install itself? A mess. After day one, the crew realized they'd installed the wrong version of the system and had to tear it down. They returned a week later, rushed through the job, and left it "mostly finished." They told us they usually set up control "zones" (front, back, sides) but didn't have time and would come back after the New Year to finish. Spoiler: they didn't. Then the system failed completely. We followed the procedure--submitted a ticket--and got radio silence. It wasn't until we replied to an automated "rate your system" email that anyone got back to us. That's the level of support you're in for. After the fix, we asked again to have the zones completed. We were told someone would come Monday. Monday came. Monday went. No one showed. No call. No follow-up. Weeks later, we ran into an Everlights rep at a home show. He promised to follow up--and to his credit, he did. But now? They're saying we'll have to pay to finish what the installers promised to do at install time. Let me be crystal clear: We were told this would be done during install. We were told again it would be scheduled later. At no point was a charge ever mentioned--until now. Yes, they're pointing to the fine print in the agreement. But after the chaos, delays, ghosting, poor communication, and broken promises, this is nothing short of petty and insulting. We spent over $10,000. And they're haggling over something they failed to deliver? Everlights had every opportunity to turn this around. Instead, they chose to be difficult, disorganized, and dismissive. If you're considering this company, ask yourself: What happens when something goes wrong? Will they show up? Will they fix it? Will they honor their word? If there was a no star rating, that would have been the rating I give. Considering EverLights decorative lights? DON'T!!! Spent almost $3K on their system during the summer of '23. At best, this system has worked maybe 55-60% of the time. Anytime there was rain or extreme heat, the system would go down. Sometimes service requests were responded to, but would be weeks out with any repairs made. Most of the time there would be no response in terms of anyone answering the phone, responding to a voicemail or responding to an email. Now, in southern Utah they can't even keep technicians employed. I ran across one of their technician on the streets one day and stopped and talked with him. I had multiple requests for service into their Linden,UT office, but according to him there was nothing showing our request in the work orders in the St. George office. He indicated, with some frustration, that they are being told to concentrate on new system installations, not repairs. Their owners right now only want to concentrate on sales and not maintaining their current customers. I found that statement to be credible because I've had service requests in now for several months and they will not return calls or let me know if my system is ever going be repaired. So, the Everlights system is going to be completely removed this week and I've purchased another system from another company (for another $3K) that I've researched. I wish I would've done a better job researching this three years ago. There is no legal recourse I can take, the money I would spend going after them legally I will be better spent on a new system from a more reputable company. But hopefully, multiple social media messages like this one. I'm leaving on Yelp will give people a heads up on about how bad of a company they really are. read more

Community service message. For 4 years I have been having problems with my everlights system. I have had 5 crews come out and try to repair them. The last guy was from out of state. He suggested a total tear out and redo. Upper management has been dithering for months. I am completely unsatisfied with the customer service. Don't get ripped off by this company. read more
