Desert Hot Tubs

In March of 2024 we bought a used Caldera spa from Desert Hot Tubs in Phoenix. The salesman we…read moreworked with was helpful and answered a lot of questions when we decided on the spa we were getting. I noticed it had eight speakers in it, and I asked the salesman whose name was Chris, whether the spa had Bluetooth and he assured me that it did. We bought the spa with the understanding it had Bluetooth. He gave me warranty paperwork which indicated the sound system was covered for 6 months as a used spa. When we got the spot installed at our house, we discovered that the Bluetooth did not work and Desert hot tubs sent out a succession of service people who told me I just didn't know how to operate it. (I do know how to operate Bluetooth!) and then explained to me that in a later session that they didn't have the parts to fix it and after waiting for over six months to get someone to come out and fix it, I received a call from Tricia, their service manager, who assured me that they were going to honor their commitment to fix the Bluetooth in the spa that I purchased even though more than six months had expired. She admitted their service department had dropped the ball. One week later I received a call from Tricia telling me that they were not going to honor their promise to fix the spa because the contract said Desert Hot Tubs was not obligated to honor verbal promises...only what is stated in the contract. They said this spa was no longer under warranty and that I had not read the fine print in the contract which said that regardless of the salesman's promises the only thing that really counts is the contract. They also told me the salesman is no longer with them...as if that had some bearing on the situation. I've been in business a very long time and any ethical business that I've worked with always honors the promises the salespeople make, particularly in something this straightforward. They initially acted as if they should be responsible for fixing the Bluetooth and then later decided that they weren't going to fix the Bluetooth. I would strongly recommend not ever buying any equipment from Desert Hot Tubs. I would further recommend not trusting anything that any of their sales people tell you. And finally, I would recommend staying away from a business whose ownership responds to customers in this fashion.

Bought a Wellis Atlas hot tub from Southwest Hot Tub Warehouse and it's been a nightmare. The…read morecleaning system doesn't work, the waterfall cracked and leaks, and the panels keep falling off. They poorly attempted to fix the issues, then blamed me or the manufacturer (Wellis) instead of taking responsibility. They also lied about submitting a warranty request on my behalf -- when I checked with Wellis directly, they confirmed no request was ever submitted. Now the dealer has stopped responding altogether. Poor service, dishonest practices, and no accountability -- once they make the sale, you're on your own. Look elsewhere.

We purchased a Dynasty Spa from Southwest Hot Tub Warehouse and had it installed in early December…read more2025. Upon installation it was discovered that was a leak and water was leaking into our top panel control. In addition, when we purchased the spa we were told it had wifi capability controls installed (which turned out to be a lie). The owner told us he would order a new top control panel from Dynasty and would also install the wifi module for free since he said it was already in there (second lie). After 2 months of excuse after excuse from the owner (throwing Dynasty Spas under the bus, saying they would answer calls, shipped the part, but it never got there, it got there but he used it on another spa, etc. etc., etc.), I decided to contact Dynasty myself. They were responsive, opened a warranty claim for us, shipped us the part free of charge. We then had to contact Southwest to get it installed. I tried emailing, calling, etc. for a while with zero response. Finally went in person (we live an hour away) and confronted them. They wouldn't even acknowledge responsibility. But after a come to Jesus meeting with me, they installed the part. Needless to say, Dynasty is getting us another distributor who can do work on the spa should we need it in the future. Moral of this story....DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH SOUTHWEST HOT TUB WAREHOUSE OR SAM JARRETT EVER! Here is the response I got "We are very sorry that you feel this way! We tried to buy your replacement topside from Dynasty Spas (a company we no longer do business with) but were refused by Dynasty Spas due to ongoing legal issues we are having with them (this review will benefit us in that pursuit). We actually purchased your needed part (a new topside) from another company and still have yet to receive it. When we delivered your spa everything worked great at delivery and you received everything promised in your contract! We were contacted on 2/8/26 about your replacement part arriving on approximately 2/11/26. Within 24 hours of you receiving the part, we installed it at no cost. Your spa was completely operation the entire time you have owed it. Sorry you got caught in the middle but we really appreciate your business. We are happy to assist you in the future!" Since I can't respond to your response to my comment, I will do it here: It would have been really nice if you would have told us that you were no longer doing business with Dynasty because of legal issues. I would love to know when that came about because if it was BEFORE you sold us a Dynasty spa, that would have been key since you can no longer get parts on a spa that is warrantied for at least a year. It's dirty business. AND, A KEY PIECE OF INFO YOU LEFT OUT OF YOUR CYA RESPONSE IS THAT WE NOTIFIED YOU THAT THE PART WE ORDERED WOULD BE DELIVERED. AND YOU BETTER BELEIVE YOU WERE DOING THE WORK FREE OF CHARGE.....IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY!!!!!~ And, you gave us a run around for 2 months! Here's an idea...BE HONEST WITH US. I don't appreciate this. I understand business issues come up for a myriad of reasons. I understand that. I was a CFO for many years of my career. It's just sad that we had to go through Dynasty ourselves. All you had to do was tell us the truth, we would have done exactly what we did. Call Dynasty, get the part and you put it in. WHY WAS THAT SO HARD? Grow some integrity.

Green Home Services - Bathroom

I don't usually write reviews this long, but Andrew with Green Home deserves it…read more He completely gutted and rebuilt my master bathroom, and the result is beautiful. This was my first remodel, so I did a lot of research and got multiple bids. Andrew's pricing was lower than others, but his work looked almost too perfect, which honestly made me skeptical at first. I reached out to one of his past reviewers before hiring him, just to confirm they had a good experience and they had nothing but great things to say. Now I understand why. Andrew handled demo, moved the shower to a different wall, installed all new tile, plumbing, lighting, and built the entire shower from scratch. He also has a strong eye for design and helped guide decisions in a way that felt collaborative, not pushy. He showed up exactly when he said he would every single day and worked full 8-10 hour days until everything was complete. His communication stayed clear, consistent, and reliable. He kept the job site clean, contained the dust to one area, and was extremely respectful of my home. I took notice that he was the only contractor who took his shoes off at the door when walking thru to bid. That said a lot to me about him. He continued to do things that showed his good nature and great character. Another thing I really appreciated was I felt that he genuinely looked out for me. A designer I had hired was pushing me toward options that were well over my budget, and Andrew encouraged me to take a step back and think it through. He even suggested better alternatives, which I ended up using. That kind of honesty is rare. He also recommended great companies for other parts of the project, including AQ Glass Arizona Shower Doors and Aaron Dominguez Granite, both of which did excellent work. He stayed on budget, did everything right the first time, and was incredibly patient with me throughout the process. I've already hired him again for my kitchen and guest bathroom, and he's even come back for a few smaller requests without hesitation. The only "negative" is that he's booked pretty far out, but that's really not a negative. It just means he's in demand. He is absolutely worth the wait. I feel very lucky to have found him and would recommend him without hesitation.

We recently finished our master bathroom remodeled and we couldn't be happier with the results!…read moreFrom start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. The Andrew is incredibly efficient. The project moved forward smoothly without unnecessary delays (other than when materials did not arrive when scheduled). He provided excellent design advice, helping us understand what would work in our space (and what wouldn't necessarily look right). Communication was top-notch; he kept us updated every step of the way, answered all our questions promptly, made us aware of when he was going to be at our project and at what time, and made sure we felt comfortable with every decision. The crew was also very clean and they treated our home with respect and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. It was still a construction zone, so there was still some dust that lingered around, but we were able to stay on top of it fairly easily. Overall, this was one of the best home improvement experiences we've ever had. We highly recommend Green Home Services to anyone looking for quality work, professionalism, and a stress-free process. The photos show the true transformation that Green Home Services was able to create for us!
