Took off work for a 3 room high traffic carpet cleaning. Not that bad of high traffic areas either, very minimal. Received a call a couple of hours before scheduled appointment that they need to reschedule. The rescheduling was due to another job taking longer than expected. My job is small, so I'm the client that is getting rescheduled because they only have one technician. Offered a 10% discount for inconvenience. Epic has $100 minimum and my job would be charged the minimum anyway. The tech would have been in and out in 30 minutes or less for my job. Really disappointed in this company, the other reviews made it sound so promising. I guess I will go rent a carpet cleaner this weekend, so the job can be completed and I don't have to take another day off work. For sure not how I wanted to spend my Mothers Day weekend. read more

My wife and I were moving into our next house, when we decided to have all of the floors cleaned prior to moving in. We had tile downstairs, carpet up the stairs, and carpet in all rooms upstairs. For the most part, we thought the carpet was in good shape. The house is only two years old, so how bad could it be? WHOA! After the work that Epic did, you could tell how much more fluffy and soft the carpet got. There was zero residue or smell left behind. Just a nice fresh feel to the carpet. The downstairs tile was the big change. We have a grey tile with light grey grout. You could definitely see where the previous owners had furniture. The grout looked almost white. After Epic was done, we had nice clean grout lines and completely refreshed tile surfaces. What made me push for a 5-star rating...? They even pulled the appliances out to clean the tile back there! Let me start out by saying that I wanted to believe all of the great reviews but I was a little skeptical. They are right! This company is really great. I called last Saturday to get a rough estimate for grout cleaning for my house. The owner called me back and we discussed the type of tile and the condition of the grout. He told me that the price they charge can vary depending on the condition of the grout but that when the technician arrived they would be able to give me an exact quote. I called them on Monday to make an appointment and they were able to get me scheduled for Thursday. The day before the appointment the called me to confirm and were very friendly. On the day of the appointment the technician called me 20 minutes before the scheduled time to let me know that he was on his way. He was at our house on time and began to take measurements and assess the condition of the grout. After we agreed with the services he went to work. Unfortunately his machine stopped working about 30 minutes into the cleaning and he said that he would have to bring it back to the shop. He called me less than an hour later and told me he was on his way. He apologized for the inconvenience, but I know that this stuff happens and it was quickly remedied. He arrived shortly after his call and went straight back to work. I am super impressed at how terrific the tile and grout look now. This is the first time we had the grout professionally cleaned since the house was built in 2001. It looks brand new now! The price we paid when all was said and done was exactly what we were quoted. I did some major deep vacuuming prior to his arrival and thought I had gotten the lot of it out. Gabe came sweeping in with his ultra machine. (Those things cost $40,000, minimum.)
