(He misrepresented his experience to me which is the only reason I chose him over the other landscapers I had interviewed.) I paid him over $20,000 and this is the quality of work he provides. I had problems from day 1 and seven months later, problems still exist and are only getting worse. He bandaids some things and outright refuses to fix others. His multiple "repairs" have all failed. Built a cheap looking fountain that was NOT the one I chose from his own lookbook, unlevel pavers which flood, stonework continues to fall out, defective turf, exposed electrical, cracking and splitting flagstone, clumpy and unprofessional stucco, leak issues, and the list goes on... His inexperience is obvious. I'm so embarrased by this yard. Everyone that has seen it agrees it's awful. This is only a small portion of the photos.

I texted asking for a quote and Alis' wife, Maria, responded within a minute I think. Set up a quote for the following day - Alis and Manny showed up right on time. I walked them through our 6-month-neglected yard which was really a mess thanks to 2 mesquite trees. Anyone who has a mesquite tree knows exactly what I'm talking about regarding mesquite mess - layers and layers of mess and things to pick up. I'm so happy with the result! Our yard has never looked this clean. So much mesquite tree mess was always left behind with other landscapers or they'd just blow the mess into corners and leave most of it. Not with Alis. They did a fantastic job and I'm now going to have him come regularly. If you've neglected your yard like we did, you'll have to pay someone to deal with all of that neglect. If someone quotes you a low bid for a neglected yard (can't tell ya how many times I've gone for that!), don't go that route. Problem is, no one came to the door to announce they were here on that date/time, nor is there any Ring doorbell alerts, which would have also gone off had someone been on my patio moving or covering furniture, nor did my camera (which is in the exact olive tree) pick up any activity or show anyone here. There was no note or card left that they performed a service and on top of that, my olive tree has produced more olives this year than ever before. I've tried with multiple emails to ask them to prove they were here to actually spray the trees, given all of the above, and she says her "tech signed in" and that the work was performed but has no other proof that the work was done. Why is her tech not on my camera? Why did he/she not ring to the doorbell to announce their arrival and ensure my pets were inside to not get covered with chemicals? Why did he/she not cover my furniture to also protect that? Why did he/she not leave anything to say work was performed? Why is my olive tree producing more olives than ever before? We used another company several years back who did all of the above. In fact they emailed the day before saying we needed to make sure our pets were indoors during spraying because the chemical can be toxic to pets if inhaled. The other company rang the doorbell to announce they were here and then moved all our patio furniture together and covered it with a cloth to protect and all of that certainly made noise - meaning I knew it was happening and it was quite the production. NONE of that happened this time. Yet they keep sending the bill telling us we owe for the "work done". One of 3 possibilities here: they did not perform the work, their tech is invisible and a master at eluding cameras, or they did not do it to code by even announcing they were here, not covering anything and most importantly, not ensuring my pets were inside. We did talk about my previous landscaper who would not show up on time which is the same issue I had with her. If you make an appointment follow through.
