I have a Home Watching Service where I take care of the customers homes while they are away for extended periods. A home I watch in Sun Lakes, AZ needed 2 - 50 foot queen palms trimmed & skinned along with trimming & thinning a beautiful Mesquite tree in the front yard. I needed to have my large Sissoo tree taken down from my backyard and got 5 quotes including God's Green Earth. There was a HUGE price difference in the quotes. I was looking for companies that knew how to take down large Sissoo trees as well as had good reviews on Yelp. Some companies did not call me back. It took a bit of phone tag to talk to Adam Gilletti, the owner, but through a series of phone tags, we were able to get him to come out and give me a quote. After reading more reviews, looking up all the businesses on BBB, Google reviews, Yelp, and Angie's List and comparing prices, how long it would take to remove the tree, God's Green Earth was the winner. Adam and his crew of 4 other men (Tyler, Spencer, Richard, Ruben) that showed up that day were extremely professional, efficient and knew what they were doing. My Sissoo tree was extremely close to the Block Wall (within a foot) that the root system was damaging. That section of the block wall will need to be replaced, so it was in a precarious state. I watched the whole time the tree was being taken down and even took a time-lapse video of most of the process. Adam climbed into the tree and began meticulously and precisely cutting down the tree. None of the heavy branches hit or even touched the wall as the branches fell to the ground with loud thuds. Safety was a huge thing and Adam has $2M insurance covered. The 5 men worked cohesively, efficiently and quickly to bring the tree down. I was surprised that they were able to fit my whole tree (taller than a 2 story building and wide) into mainly 1 landscaping trailer, and the trunk in another trailer with all their equipment. They really packed the trailer well. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and job that Adam and his men did. And, a couple of the men were not big guys - in fact, they were all very thin. But all of them were very strong and capable, so don't under estimate them by the looks. I did ask them during the quoting process that if they got the bid, to not smoke on my property. They abided by that. They cleaned up my yard from all the debris. Oh, they got there maybe about 8:45 am and I think Adam and Tyler left about 12:15 pm. The other 3 men left before noon to another job. When Adam showed up, it was with 2 men. So, all in all, about 3 1/2 hrs to take down this humongous tree. As I watched them through the process, you can tell they really knew what they were doing and had done this many times. They had removing large trees down to a T and they also worked so great together. Would highly recommend. And, for the price, it's the best deal ever. What the other companies were quoting was highway robbery. Adam said even on the great price he gave me, he was still making a very decent profit. The quality of the service was unprofessional . They started the work without disclosing that they would not be able to complete the work in a timely manner.They came out and did a partial job. The owner secured the deposit as they were working. They left without informing me of their departure.I had to call to find out when they would be returning.They returned a week later,but the service was poor .They cut the trees without informing that they would not remove the stump.They also had to come back and remove the weeds. Adam and his crew Derek, Spence, Tyler and Cole did an awesome job! They answered when I called the first time to just set up for an estimate. (Other companies never returned my calls.) Adam showed up on time and for the amount of work we were looking for we were very surprised with his price. We felt it was very, very fare. It took them three days to complete everything and they did a really nice job. Adam was very helpful in helping us with color schemes and wow his knowledge of plants and trees was amazing. He never got annoyed by all my questions and guided us to what he thought fit our lack of green thumb abilities. They cleaned everything up after themselves and left with our yard looking beautiful. If there were 6 or 7 star options, I'd have given more. I've used them several times for various items and the work is always top notch. Just yesterday, they were out to do some tree-trimming, and to fix my sprinkler system. They did all that, and then detailed my back yard , which had gone crazy with weeds- and now my yard is amazing. Used this company for yard maintenance. They do not follow through on agreement in yard service. Had multiple sprinkler lines that were suppose to he checked and were not. Had 5 plants die because of it. Called multiple times and Adam the owner does not return calls. Initially part of the reason he recieved my business is he told me he was a great comunicator. I found that not to he true. His employees smoke on your property and leave cigeratte butts. Also one of the workers made the statement to me he did not know how to get yard clippings picked up. Yet the pride themselves in good customer service and knowing how to take care of your yard. I would not use this company. Avoid them at all cost. read more

What was done: Saved & secured a tree uprooted by a storm (yay!), trimmed several very tall trees with many branches that were significantly affected by a storm. My Comments: WOW! I messaged this stellar provider late @ night on 8/31/15, explaining our multiple tree woes caused by a storm that night & asked if he would contact my husband to set up a time to come to our home & work his magic! We expected it would be several days before we'd hear back as much of the East Valley was affected with downed trees, etc. At 8 am the next morning, my husband received a call from God's Green Earth's owner, Adam Gilletti. He said he'd be to our home @ 11 am. At 10:55 am (5 minutes early!), Adam & his team of 8 talented guys arrived, Adam talked with my husband re: what all of our concerns were & off to work he & his talented team went. While I don't know all of the technical terms, Adam & his team saved our beloved Desert Sumac tree that had mostly uprooted from the ground, trimmed it beautifully & secured it to enhance healthy & aesthetic growth. He educated my husband re: important care of the tree. Adam & his team worked together incredibly- a true team effort. They worked like acrobats & trimmed every single branch of every tree that had been affected by the storm-& made sure the trees were aesthetically gorgeous! Adam & his team utilized blowers & cleaned our yard of all the debris from the trimming & the storm. By the time they were done, our yard was totally clean- like there had never been a severe storm 12 hours earlier. This exceptional work was completed in 35 minutes! It's hard to articulate how impressed I was with Adam Gilletti the owner of this business and the people he has carefully chosen to help him. The degree of effort required to find a trustworthy person to perform even adequate work among tradesman, contractors, and the like has become belabor-some. People take to paying a referral system like Angie's list or some other web based program designed to exploit the fear of hiring someone who leaves your sanctuary a mess and creating hours of aggravation with a job poorly done or undone. Adam's business represents the simplicity of common decency and the enthusiasm for excellence that is above and beyond his competitors. I have experience finding trust worthy tradesman, but I have not met anyone as skilled in so many ways as Adam. I interviewed several landscapers which included Neal with Manta New Image Landscape and Pools LLC and Lisa Leporte with Creative Environments. Landscapers will involve segments of design and installers increasing their overhead costs. This creates the above problems I mentioned that pressure people who already demonstrate a lack of desire to honestly meet your needs with a job well done. Their desire is to add to your goals and ideas, so you pay for more than you needed or wanted, while looking you in the eye and telling you that things cannot be done or that they cannot be done for a price that is fair. They fail to follow through and return your calls and emails when it benefits them. After meeting with landscapers who used these embellishments or failed to deliver on promises, I was referred to Adam by a trusted real estate agent. First, Adam was prompt each time he said he would arrive and delivered on his promises. He was kind and demonstrated an unprecedented work ethic, enthusiasm for excellence, social communicative skill and comprehension, and brought my ideas to fruition in a fashion more impressive than anything I dreamed. It was clear that Adam gave of himself with little reservation when performing a job because he enjoys his profession. Adam's desire for excellence was apparent in so many ways and he was conscientious about his work and the people he hired who I briefly got to know. He did not leave the job undone for periods and return much later as some tradesman will do. Adam oversaw every facet of the work as you would expect an owner to do who is vested in the success of their business. He provided us with a detailed itemized estimate for our job, was honest with us about the costs to perform the work, and found ways of exceeding our landscaping imaginations. Moreover, here are the impressive talents he brought to our project: arborist and plant placement/color design, creative wood worker, trellis architect, welder, cement designer, drip line distribution, project manager, and rock design. Adam is meticulous with the crew he hires and takes care of these men like family in a manner that demonstrated his good will, reflecting his understanding of how to operate a successful business that benefits everybody. I saw that it was because of Adam that the men enjoyed their work and it showed in the results because you don't want people with a bad vibe coming into your sanctuary to perform any kind of work for a quick buck. Adam is providing a service to his community beyond the beauty of his hard work on God's Green Earth and if you've gotten this far in my review, you'll appreciate how rare it is to see this in the current culture we live in and thus how it's motivated me to write this review.
