Sent Adrian a text today for a quote on a clean up and maintenance. He responded right away and stopped by within an hour! I can't imagine that immediate response is something that can be offered on a regular basis but I certainly appreciated it! In no way did I expect him to perform the work that day but he said yes he could come back and remove two trees that I hated, several thorny, stupid bushes that should never been planted in the first place and clean up my entire half acre lot! I was seriously disappointed with my last landscaping company and was just looking through Yelp trying to find something else and I am so glad I called him! He is extremely reasonable for such good work. I'm going to have him take care of my yard from now on and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for Solid service! After reading some of the other reviews I feel the need to point out that if you expect anyone to do anything for $75. you are ridiculous. How much do you think it costs to drive to your house and do even an hours worth of work? Think about it. Great work at a great price! Adrian Torres Landscaping was a good find here on yelp. I contacted via text and asked for a quote for my front yard which needed an overall trimming and cleanup. I sent him a clear photo of my yard and he was able to give me a price for all plants/trees shown. He responded timely and communicated clearly via text and was able to come do the work the next day. Him and a crewmember showed up around the time he gave me, and did an excellent job for a price surprisingly lower than several other companies I contacted. Adrian came to my house to give me an estimate on picking and trimming 4 fruit trees at 2pm on Monday for $200. I made it clear that I needed him to be here before 2:30 so I could go to an appointment. The day he was supposed to show up I texted and called him 4 times to make sure that he was going to show up on time and he never showed. Like other reviewers, we called and emailed more than 10 companies looking for landscape maintenance quotes with only a handful responding and even fewer coming out to look at our lot. Adrian called us back and came out to check out our lot on the same day I called. He was prepared to work that afternoon, but we had him come back a couple days later. We have several large trees (including a queen palm) and bushes with about a year's worth of growth. Needless to say, our yard was very overgrown. Ultimately, Adrian's quote beat the other estimates by a landslide, and the final product was above and beyond what we were expecting. He was responsive and fast. My yard got out of control with weeds and I just couldn't keep up with it. Adrian is really easy to communicate with via text so it was nice not having to play phone tag or have missed calls. This time of the year must be high season for landscapers. I have literally called, emailed, left voicemail for about 5-6 different companies. Four got back to me, and two of those were too lazy or didn't want to bother with actually coming to my property to give me an estimate. Adrian and another company were the two that called me back, and Adrian's quote simply blew the other one away. Normally I'd be a little suspicious, but after experiencing the lack of response from other landscapers, his great reviews on here, and my very neglected trees, I decided to give him a go. I am completely satisfied with his work. Him and another guy came together and they did not stop cutting, hauling, and mowing until my yard looks sparkling new. Now I feel much more zen looking out. This guy is fantastic. My house's backyard recently had an explosion of weeds and growth, and after doing some research around yelp, I texted Adrian. He was easy to talk to, and as another yelper mentioned, I didnt find myself playing call-back tag with him. He was direct, easy to work with, and came out to give an estimate the same day. I showed him the backyard and explained that it didnt need to be perfect, but it at least to a level where we can walk through it (the weeds were about 5ft tall, and probably 60% of our yard was not even visible). He offered a good price on the yard, and we scheduled him to help us. Adrian and his crew went above and beyond. They fixed up the yard better then it has ever been, and completely cleaned out of any weeds and plant growth. Even our trees were trimmed. He does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. We had him do cleanup after a major storm knocked down part of a tree and messed up the yard. He was thorough and efficient. After my regular yard-care person went AWOL I was desperate for a new person with reasonable prices. My HOA loves to threaten fines if we don't keep our yards in order and when I asked them for the number for the people who do the landscaping for the common areas of the subdivision, I got a quote for $300 (my yard is only as big as your typical two-car garage...it's a tiny patio home. The man who had been doing it for two years did it for $150. Well Adrian answered the phone when I called after 7:00 and I expected to get a voicemail. We agreed he would come in the morning for an estimate and he gave me a VERY reasonable price. He said that he could do my work right then and there and within minutes a helper arrived and they did a wonderful job on my small front and back yards. They trimmed my giant Queen Palm and other shrubs and got all the leaves from every nook and cranny. He even blew all the leaves off my roof and didn't ask for any extra money. After other failed attempts I decided to look on yelp for a landscaper. Was excited when Adrian came over within 2 hours of calling him for a quote. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. I called on a Thursday and he came over to give a quote for a clean up and service every 2 weeks. Saturday at noon I sat and waited for the cleanup...1 pm came around and I finally called to see where he was (hour late...no call no show) he said he would come at 5 pm instead of the 12 pm that we scheduled...it rained and I never heard back from him. On Monday I reached out, 3 times, and was told he would stop over on Wednesday to take care of everything. Said it would take 3 hours... Wednesday, he shows up at 5 pm, instead of the 4 pm he promised and within an hour and a half he said he had to leave to go do another quote for someone that was upset with him. He left my front yard untouched and then proceeded to tell me he only quoted the back yard, despite walking around our entire property during the initial quote. My front yard is grass and I only needed it to be mowed. I then asked if he would come back for the front yard and a re seeding of the back yard that he cleaned up. Adrian quoted another price and said he would be over the following Wednesday. After another no call no show we have decided to go with another company. Adrian is another 1 man show that goes after quick cash and doesn't follow through. Save yourself the headache. read more
